I can't say enough positive things about Dr Hartmann and his staff!! They are beyond wonderful!!! Extremely professional but so down to Earth. I can definitely tell that every single person cares tremendously about their profession and their patients....they made me feel so at ease!! I will be recommending them to every single person I know!!! (I had a difficult wisdom tooth extraction for reference)

Extremely professional and heart warming service provided by the entire team in this office. I have had 2 surgery's here, they both went well. I'm glad this is my primary dentist office.

I highly recommend Dr. Hartman. On the Friday before Christmas I drove into VA to visit my sick father. A few weeks earlier I had oral surgery and I began to experience increasing pain. I called around and of course no one was working, except Dr Hartman. They welcomed me to come in. Dr Hartman examined me and determined that no emergency surgery was needed. He was very professional, knowledgeable and kind. The staff were friendly. His office is immaculate. He gave me recommendations to treat the pain. He did not charge me. Unbelievable. I do not live in the area but I highly recommend this office for anyone who does. Thank you again Dr. Hartman!

In Williamsburg, you will not find a better oral surgeon in my opinion. He and his excellant staff have always surpassed my expectations. They make you feel comfortable in every aspect of treatment. They are professional, courteous and I have always felt respected in every way. Thank you all for your kindness too!

My reason for giving two stars. Dr. Hartmann and his staff perform excellent work. The staff is amazing and very professional and courteous. My problem, which has given me great anguish, is their very deceitful billing practice. After paying $272.00 out-of-pocket for my procedure, I receive a bill for $0.00. Two and a half weeks later, I receive a bill for $142.00 from O.M.S. for services rendered. When you pay a mechanic for service to your vehicle, you don't get a bill two weeks later for more than half of what you have already paid. They should have disclosed this upfront which would have provided me the opportunity to seek out another profession. Their reason, "The insurance company (MetLife) did not pay as much as they thought." I think they have been in business long enough to have given me a more accurate assessment of what my out-of-pocket expenses would have been. I think this is a fraudulent billing practice, and for this reason, I will not return or refer them.

I do not have enough good things to say about Dr. Hartmann and his practice here in Williamsburg. I came in to have four wisdom teeth extracted and could not have been treated with more respect from the entire staff. The ladies at reception were always welcoming and those in the back were so helpful. Dr. Hartmann ensured all my questions and concerns were always addressed not to mention the office was so accommodating to my ever-changing schedule. The staff made the best effort to make sure my recovery was as pleasant as possible. It is evident that Dr. Hartmann and his staff enjoy the work they do and I could not be happier about the care I received. I would recommend this office to anyone!

The staff was amazing. Our daughter had two wisdom teeth extracted. The staff kept us updated through the process. Once she was in the operating room I was permitted to swing by the nearby CVS to get the meds. I returned in time for the recovery. The recovery room is calm and private. The staff checked in Regina's did their best to address the pain. The first 24 hours post was surprisingly uneventful. The recovery continues to go well. No need for narcotics. Daughter took 3 Advil tablets every 6 hours and she's been fine. We highly recommend Dr. Hartman's practice. Williamsburg is lucky to have him!

I recently got my wisdom teeth out and felt the entire process from consultation to follow up went perfectly. I used my military insurance and had no problems working with Dr.Hartmann's office. In fact, my brother used the same insurance at an office in Richmond and had to jump through hoops. Thanks again for everything!

They are a very ANTI military and their families. They will do nothing to work with you. Recently, Tricare switched from MetLife as its dental carrier to Concordia. Hartman decided to join the growing club of screwing the military and their families by opting out of the network, and offering nothing to help patients

Dr. Hartman and his staff performed a prompt and thorough evaluation of a difficult dental problem for me with state of the art knowledge, competence, and kindness. His advice was in my best interest with no salesmanship. His experience, love of his profession and accurate and complete opinion was greatly appreciated. He is clearly the top Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon in this area. I am so grateful to the patient of his who referred me to him.
