Dr. Paul Decker graduated from the University of Michigan, School of Dentistry in 1997. Upon graduation, Dr. Decker opened a private dental practice in Davison, Michigan where he practiced until 2009. While at the University of Michigan, Dr. Decker did several externships in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery as well as the required courses to complete his dental degree.
Dr. Decker is a member of the American Dental Association, New Hampshire Dental Association, former member and Delegate of Michigan Dental Association and former board member of the Genesee District Dental Association.
Dr. Decker and his wife, Dr. Janice Pilon, relocated to the Upper Valley and opened their practice in Hanover, NH in August 2010. He spends his free time enjoying all the skiing and biking that the Upper Valley has to offer and attending his childrens sporting events. He is also an Alpine Coach with the Ford Sayer Ski Program. Dr. Decker was born in New England and is happy to be back living here.
Dr. Janice Pilon graduated in 1993 from the University Of Michigan School Of Dentistry. Upon graduation, Dr. Pilon spent the following year completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Michigan. She also started in private practice with her father, Dr. James Pilon, who had a General Practice in Flint, Michigan. She continued to practice with her father until his retirement in 2004 and then sold the practice in 2010, so that she and her husband, Dr. Paul Decker could open a practice together in the Upper Valley. Dr. Pilon and Dr. Decker opened their practice in Hanover, NH in August 2010.
Prior to dental school, Dr. Pilon became interested in dentistry when she would help out at her fathers dental practice during her summer breaks while in high school. When she went to college, she received a BS in Dental Hygiene in 1986, from Marquette University. After graduating from Marquette, she moved to Boston, MA and worked in a periodontal practice in the Back Bay area, until she left to attend dental school.
Dr. Pilon is a member of the American Dental Association and New Hampshire Dental Association, former member of the Michigan Dental Association and Past President of the Genesee District Dental Association. In her spare time, Dr. Pilon, enjoys spending time with her family, skiing, reading and getting to know the Upper Valley.

I have been having dental cleanings with Decker & Pillon for 10 years. A recently hired dental hygeniest has performed a few rather unpleasant cleanings in the last half year. She puts the chair you are sitting in back so far that your head is lower than your upper body. Not only is this rather uncomfortable, but it causes water to drip down your face during the cleaning. You have to ask repeatedly to spit water that accumulates in your mouth from the cleaning. She really pulls on your lips with the mirror as well. Perhaps some additional training is needed, as previous hygeniests did a much better job.

I lost a crown and was able to make an appointment to have it recemented with the Decker/Pilon family dentists pretty quickly. Phew. It was a speedy and comfortable experience with the promise of making a totally new crown in the future for no charge because they felt what they had done should have lasted far longer. And that made me happy!!

Great accommodation of my emergency visit for a crown that came off. The office got me in on a cancelled appointment slot a couple days later. Dr Lipinski assessed it, thoroughly explained the issues and was able to do a permanent fix the same day! Very nice people.

Nice office. However had new crown put in. Fell out the next day. Hopefully they will make it right. Otherwise no issues. Follow up: Within two days (I was traveling out of state) they made it right and did an excellent job. Dr. Pilon was great.
