I truly love making people smile. My greatest satisfaction comes when I see a genuine smile at the end of a procedure from a small filling on a front tooth to a full-mouth reconstruction and the happiness in the persons eyes.
In school, I always enjoyed my science-based classes, and that drew me toward healthcare as a profession. A family friend, a dentist, invited me to shadow him over a summer while I was in college. After I saw how he was able to help people, combining science and aesthetics, and his obvious happiness with what he did, I knew dentistry was the right path for me.
Our administrative and clerical staff members are professionals. They are also compassionate, supportive, and non-judgmental. Together, they ensure each person feels safe, heard, and supported throughout every interaction.
One of the most appealing facets of dentistry are the continual advances. New techniques and technologies are constantly developed and made available to practitioners. It is my responsibility to stay current on the new options: carefully evaluating each before determining they should be incorporated into our office.
Each year I take a range of continuing dental education courses in order to learn about new options, as well as broaden and strengthen my clinical skills. This ensures I am providing patients with the best care for their needs.
When Im not working, Im most often with my family. The activities of two young kids take up most of my time outside of the office. When I do have free time, I love to travel, be outdoors, fish with the kids, and cheer on the Kansas Jayhawks.
Cheri has many years of experience in the dental field and handles all the administrative duties for the office. Her knowledge and understanding of dental insurance provides our office with an invaluable resource. Cheri gives our patients clear and concise answers regarding their often confusing dental insurance benefits and strives to find a way for patients to financially accomplish their dental healthcare needs.
Tracy was born and raised in Kansas. She earned her Associates of Liberal Arts from JCCC and has worked in the healthcare industry for a total of 24 years, the last 10 of which have been in the dental field. She enjoys getting to know patients and their families and being a part of a team that helps provide them with a beautiful, healthy smile.
Debbie is originally from Iowa, where she spent time in the medical insurance field. In 1997, she moved to the Kansas City area where she joined the Hy-Vee family and continued to work there until entering the dental field in 2015.
Debbie and her husband Rick have two daughters, Ashley (married to TJ) and Becca (married to Ryan), and one granddaughter, Tenley. When not spending time with her family, Debbie enjoys crafting, traveling and watching or attending sporting events, especially KC Chiefs, KC Royals, Sporting KC and Hawkeye and Wildcat football.
Emma is originally from Olathe, Kansas. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Pittsburg State University with a major in Business Marketing. Emma previously worked as a Marketing Specialist for a credit union in Bartlesville, Oklahoma before joining the team at Dr. Rosel and Dr. Bahr's office in September 2019. While her current role is her first in the dental field, she is learning to love the industry.
Ashley graduated from UMKC and MSSU. She has been a dental hygienist for over 12 years and has been with Dr. Rosel for 8 of them. Ashley knows that dental care can be intimidating to some. She is a compassionate person who excels at reassuring our patients, no matter what dental concerns they may have. The most rewarding aspect of her career is having the ability to connect with patients on a more personal level.
Kelly has been a dental hygienist for over twelve years. Getting to know her patients and their families continues to be one of the highlights of her job. Improvement of a patient's oral healthcare by way of the patient education she provides is tremendously rewarding to Kelly.
Katelyn joined the dental field in 2006 as an assistant and later graduated with her Associates in Dental Hygiene in 2012 from Carl Sanburg College in Illinois. She enjoys getting to know her patients and catering to their dental needs.
Starting out as a dental assistant, Tara has been in the dental field for 20 years. After graduating high school in central Kansas, she attended the University of Kansas before receiving her Dental Hygiene degree from Johnson County Community College. One of the most rewarding times of Tara's hygiene career was when she was able to provide dental care directly to residents in nursing homes who would not have received care otherwise.
Bethany has been a dental assistant for two decades and she works closely with Dr. Rosel and Dr. Bahr during patient treatment. She has a calm and reassuring manner, which transfers to the patients. They find her presence comforting in what can at times be an unsettling atmosphere. Bethany is the ultimate team player and can be found all over the office assisting others so the office runs efficiently.
Jennifer began her career as a dental assistant in 2012 after moving to Kansas from Michigan. Dental assisting quickly became her passion. She enjoys getting to know her patients and helping them feel at ease. She loves working alongside Dr. Rosel, Dr. Bahr and all of the rest of team. She is proud to be part of such a friendly and dedicated staff.
Bailey is originally from Overland Park. She graduated from Olathe East High School and then continued her studies at JCCC and KU. She started her dental assisting career in Pediatric dentistry and then decided to expand her skills to general dentistry. Bailey is very upbeat and enjoys making patients feel comfortable in the dental chair.
