Going to him for 3 years now.General cleaning is fine but Got my tooth filled last year and came out with sensitive tooth problem from last 8 months. They applied some desensitization gel but didn't work. Very worried if he damaged my nerve

Went for cleaning in Oct 2020. Kaplan didn't spend any time to check inside my mouth neither the teeth. He was upset with the technician for not having the video device in the room and he stormed out of the room. He didn't even tell me if there was any cavity... i had to ask the technician to find out. They didn't charge any less from the insurance for this mediocre care. Technician was good.

My visit was safe and efficient. There were 3 forms to fill out that were sent to me the day before my appointment which made my visit safe and efficient. Upon entry I was checked in and my temperature taken. From there they were able to take me right to my room. After a few minutes and some x-rays, the doctor came in to talk to me and clearly reviewed my forms. The doctor was very attentive and addressed my concerns. It was the most thorough exam and cleaning I feel I've had in a while! I was happy with my visit.

I understand that this practice is a business and things need to be done efficiently and profitably. My experience with the hygienist was good although rushed. The interaction with the dentist seemed like an up sell. The front desk was so inflexible in enforcing office policies and would not acknowledge that they actually had the capability to validate insurance eligibility via phone/computer. As a result, Dr. Kaplan will be collecting a payment from my insurance without providing my son with services in Nov because of the office policy that artificially delayed an appointment. Something about that is not right. I'm considering moving my family to another dentist despite the high recommendations from a long-standing patient. Things have certainly changed over the years.

Ever since the pandemic they have drastically raisen the prices up the roof. A root canal I got done last year, was $800 now is nearly $1000 as for a crown was $800 now at $1300. With the kap saving. Without the is $1600. I offer to pay $1000 cash and they say no thank you and hang up! I'm disappointed by they're response and action. I guess they cater to the rich only!

Not a possitive experience scheduling new exam. I called as I read good review assuming they are genuine but I had hard time scheduling my first appointment. Dont think I would like to proceed...
