Dr. Paul Ellzey was born and raised in Louisiana. He graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with a Bachelor of Science degree. After college, Dr. Ellzey received his dental training at Marquette University School of Dentistry, one of the nations oldest schools of dentistry founded in 1894. Earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, Dr. Ellzey began his dental practice in Alabama 27 years ago, with the last 18 years in Prattville.
Dr. Ellzey works to foster a true understanding of each patient and their unique dental circumstances. He routinely deals with patients that are medically compromised and has an understanding of how medications and certain medical conditions affect the teeth and mouth. Dr. Ellzey offers a wide variety of dental procedures from routine cleanings to more advanced dental procedures. For all services, Dr. Ellzey uses the latest techniques in sterilization to assure that you are safe during procedures. Only high-quality materials are used for fillings, crowns, and other services in order to achieve a healthy and natural look whenever possible.

Wonderful Dentist. Affordable. BUT THE RECEPTIONIST IS RUDE, CRUDE, AND SO UNPROFESSIONAL!!!. I about getting antibiotics for an abscess and she told me " It looks like y'all are going to have to find another dentist. I said may I ask why and she hung up on me.

Called to make appointment and was refused services without any reason for why! I Was told to find another provider. Will be reporting to Attorney general office.

I've seen Dr. Ellzey several times now for various things and I'll tell you , he's the most easy going , honest person. He doesn't try to sell you a bunch of extra stuff you don't need procedure wise . He tells you his honest professional opinion and then let's you choose what you want to do . I just love him and Sydney! My husband , mother in law and brother in law also see him and love him and how he runs his place . We appreciate you Dr. Ellzey , thank you so much. This place is clean , and very comfortable to be at. We are permanent patients .

Dr. Ellzey is a pleasant person and a very competent dentist. Most of his staff is very pleasant. But watch out for office manager named Nancy. When you get your statement from dentist compare closely to your insurance statement. I was overcharged and when I questioned her she became furious. It got worse after my insurance company called her. Better to find another dentist who takes your insurance. After I posted this I looked at the other negative postings. Pretty obvious what Ellzey's problem is.

One of the best dentist visits I have ever encountered! They were very patient and explained everything step by step. The staff was very friendly especially Sydney..she definitely kept me laughing. I will definitely recommend! This is C Purter, don't know why it says Micah Thomas lol

Enjoyed the experience!! I've always been nervous about denal visits since I was a kid. I was put at ease right from the moment I walked through the door. The receptionist is extremely nice and funny. She kept me smiling the whole time I was talking to her and her trainee. Dr. Ellzey is very easy to talk to and he really listens to you. I had 2 teeth pulled this evening and I was back to normal by 800 tonight. I'm definitely going back and I'd definitely recommend him x 100.

If you want a super high tech, with the newest equipment dentist who see's thousands of people a day, this isnt the dentist for you. However, if you want a dentist who you can actually talk to, who will know your name when you walk in, and who u can trust that he will never push services that aren't actually needed and who will provide the most cost effective yet thorough treatment, then Dr Ellzey and his wonderful hygienist/ receptionist are the people you need to see! I always walk out of their office with a smile, even if one side of my face is numb.

Best dentist in Prattville. Knowledgeable and down to earth. He will make even the most nervous patient (me) feel comfortable. He came through for me when I had a tooth emergency!!! The only dentist I will be seeing!!! Office staff was also super helpful.

This is absolutely the BEST dental office I've ever been to. They make you feel comfortable and welcome when you walk in the door. Dr. Ellzey is extremely gentle,thorough and explains what he's going to do before he does it. Sidney is the most friendly receptionist ever and she is hilarious. All dental offices should take notes from them on how to treat their patients. Thanks for everything and I'll definitely be back.
