Dr. Ching is a graduate of the University of California, San Francisco Dental School, along with being alumni of Santa Clara University and Punahou. He has been providing quality dental care for 31 years. To provide the highest level of care, he continues to invest his time in staying on top of the latest advances in dentistry. He is a graduate of the Kois Center (an advanced evidence-based dental teaching center). He completed the St. Francis General Practice Residency. He is a member of the Seattle Study Club, Hawaii Dental Forum, Gordon Christensen International Study Club, Hawaii Dental Association, and American Dental Association. He gives back to the community by volunteering with the Dental Lifeline Network and providing dental treatment for the Queens Transplant Center. Dr. Ching values the time he gets to spend with his family. He also enjoys woodworking and fishing.
Sherry is from Rogue River, Oregon. She gained her Certificate of Achievement in Dental Assisting in Reno, NV, and began her career in dental assisting on Oahu from September of 1999 until the present. She assisted the Dentist as a chairside assistant for 21 years and throughout those years gained knowledge of both front and back office. It is her passion to help patients feel as welcome and as comfortable as possible when coming for a dental visit.
In her spare time, Sherry loves to do arts and crafts with her 2 children and get outdoors for a hike or a simple beach day whenever possible. Sherry also enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and new puppy, Chihuahua.
Marie has been a dental office manager for 20 years. She is responsible for patient and business scheduling, dental insurance management, treatment coordination, and all other day-to-day office operations. She loves our patients and makes sure that every patient receives the highest quality care and attention at every visit.
Marcie was born in Manila, Philippines, and lived there for the first seven years of her life. She emigrated from the Philippines with her mother to California and graduated from Ursuline Academy. After high school, she attended Hawaii Pacific University and received a Bachelor of Science in Math at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Marcie found her passion in dentistry by pure chance. As someone who never enjoyed going to the dentist as a kid, she grew to love dentistry and found the field fascinating. She plans to go back to college to get her BS in Dental Hygiene at UH Manoa.
Outside of work, Marcie is an avid cosplayer, seamstress, cook, and baker. She has taught herself how to sew made many cosplay costumes and outfits. Cooking and baking have always been relaxing and fun for her. She enjoys traveling and experiencing different cultures. Marcie loves to spend her free time with her favorite man, a Pomeranian dog named Mochi.
Outside of work, Krizia spends a lot of time with her family, friends, and another half. She enjoys shopping, watching drama, karaoke, and trying out new restaurants and different cultural dishes to eat. She hopes to travel all parts of Europe and Asia one day. Recently, Krizia has been enjoying the great outdoors.
Madoka is your friendly neighborhood dental hygienist. Born and raised in Moiliili, Oahu as a second-generation Japanese, she is bilingual in both English and Japanese. Madoka is a Kaimuki High School alumni and a graduate from the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a Bachelorss in Science and a minor in the Japanese language. Madokas goal as a dental hygienist is to use her knowledge and skills to provide the best dental care and education to the community that she loves.

Dr. Paul Ching runs a great practice! He promotes preventative maintenance over procrastination with your pearly whites, and you will get the sense that he knows what he is doing. The dental hygienists and all the assistants are always genuinely kind and friendly to my ohana and I. We always have an extremely positive experience when we go there to get cleaning or services done. They have great operating hours and can even accommodate a Saturday appointment (however, I believe they are booked through April '22 for Saturday appointments). They have validated parking and are conveniently located in Liliha, at the St. Francis Medical Center. Of course, as with everything else, COVID-19 has forced businesses to change their policies. I say this to inform you that you may have to take extra precautions to keep yourself and others safe (i.e. sanitizing hands, wearing face masks, arriving to the office by yourself, etc.). This office is amazing and you get treated as if you were part of their ohana. I recommend this place if you are looking for an awesome office to make your go-to for dental services.

I have always enjoyed visits to Dr. Ching's office. In the beginning my teeth were not as good. His staff gave me pointers and I listened. Dr. Ching has a very gentle manner and I don't consider myself having any pain when I visit. I Highly recommend the dental care!

I live in Nuuanu and Dr Ching is very close to my house, since I don't have a car I can walk to my appointments, so, I love the convenience of his office location. Dr Ching is very knowledgable and up-to-date with the techniques of dentistry. He has wonderful technology to help with the accuracy of his dentistry and to help make it painless. Dr Ching has an exceptional "bed-side manner" and makes me feel comfortable and at ease. Plus his staff are the best! I would absolutely recommend Dr Ching, he is the best!

Dr Ching is the best dentist. I have been going to him for a few years now and wish I had found him sooner. He is personable, funny, informative and totally accommodating with his patients. My family goes to him and we all love him. He explains the procedures before he does them. He always says if there is an issue with your treatment please let him know. He will fix it for you. The office staff are all pleasant and warm also. During this Covid 19 pandemic he has followed the CDC guidelines and kept his staff and me the patient safe. If you are looking for a great dentist with perfect chair side manner, he is the one for you.

For some, coming to the dentist is scary but Dr. Ching and his staff make sure that your comfortable through out your entire visit. They are very welcoming and friendly. You even get to barrow some sunglasses while your getting your teeth cleaned so your eyes won't hurt from the bright lights. Overall, I would recommend Dr. Ching to everyone. He is great with people and doesn't disappoint when it comes to cleaning your teeth.
