Dr. Paul Binon earned his dental degree from Creighton University and his graduate degree and specialty degree at Indiana University. He also trained at the University of Washington with a team of specialists that included Dr. P I Branemark, the creator of the titanium dental implant. Dr. Binons involvement with implant research and development over the past three+ decades has allowed him to provide unparalleled clinical care for thousands of patients. Our success rates are in the 90+ percent with many patients who have functional prosthesis dating back 25 years.
Dr. Binon has published some 50 scientific research and clinical articles relating to dental implants, editorials and contributed to two textbooks. He is a peer reviewer editor for three major implant journals. He is also a contributing co-editor of The Nugget, the journal of the Sacramento District Dental Society.
He is a recognized internationalauthority on implant dentistry, biomechanics, and implant components.He is an Assistant Research Scientist at the University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry and Adjunct Professor of Prosthodontics at Indiana University School of Dentistry.

I graduated from Sac City in 1988 with high honors, and since then have taken many continuing education classes and received my surgical certification. I assist Dr. Binon with implant patients and supervise overall clinical operations, including scheduling, tracking treatment plans, and managing lab cases. Moreover, I help our patients reach their goals of a healthy smile.
Ive had the pleasure of working with Dr. Binon for my entire career. We all have the same goals of practicing high quality dentistry. I love working with a team that has such incredibly high standards.
I am married and have three grown children, all living in different towns, and one granddaughter. I enjoy many different hobbies, including astronomy, canning, baking, going to the theater, day trips, and the ocean. I usually take my mother to church on Sundays and bring my greyhound Coco to retirement facilities.
I graduated from High Tech Institute in 1998 with an Associates degree in Allied Health Science. I received my RDA license in 1999 and worked in both general dental and community health settings prior to working for Dr. Binon. I love working with Dr. Binon because of his experience and the trust that he places in me. He is honest and I appreciate all that he has to teach me.
The best part of being an RDA is that I get to provide direct patient care! I love interacting with our patients and all phases of their restorative treatment. Seeing their beautifully restored smiles is such a joy!
Jo just celebrated her 25th year in dentistry and has both clinical and administrative knowledge to help care for our patients with complex dental needs. She has a foundation in general dentistry, but has 15 years devoted to specialty dentistry and found that she enjoys the complexities of the comprehensive dental cases, contributing to the sensitive nature of this, and helping patients understand their care both financially and clinically.
I took over the bookkeeping and financial management for Dr. Binons practice in 2014. My goal is for the practice to be financially successful and run as smoothly as possible from the bookkeeping end.
I moved to the Sacramento area about a year ago from the Bay Area. I have two grown sons and am a grandmother to an almost two-year-old granddaughter. My passions outside of work are kayaking and being on the water.
I earned my Associate in Science from American River College and my Associate in Dental Hygiene from Sacramento City College. In the years since Ive worked at Dr. Binons practice, Ive enjoyed taking care of my patients oral health and getting to know them on a personal level.
I am currently working on my Bachelors degree, so whatever time I have left is spent watching my Del Oro sophomore play basketball and baseball. I am lucky to also have two horses, two dogs, three cats, and a fish that give us unconditional love.
I can be found in our lab, where I fabricate verification jigs and bite rims, pour and articulate models for diagnosis and treatment, and handle ordering of clinical and lab supplies. I also fix just about anything that is broken around the office.
Currently, I am studying environmental science at CSU Sacramento. I am an avid outdoorsman and love virtually anything that gets me into the wilderness. I am an Eagle Scout and always love to lend a hand in my community.
I recently retired from teaching and have agreed to take on the marketing and outreach in my husbands office. I am a people person, so I love interacting with everyone. I am very creative and my role here is a great creative outlet!

Dr. Binon and I have six children between us. We also have six beautiful grandchildren ranging in age from two to nineteen. We havetwo dogs, Rusty and Cody and they rule the roost.I love cooking, decorating, and entertaining. Dr. B and I love to travel and we enjoy day trips exploring little towns around our surrounding area. I serve on the Board of Directors for Wellness Within, a local non-profit that supports cancer patients and their families. I also co-chair the events committee that puts on fundraisers to support the organization.
My priority is to offer gentle and effective diagnosis, treatment, and maintenance of periodontal disease. I spent 15 years as a RDA before continuing my education to become a hygienist in 1995. I also completed a fellowship from World Clinical Laser Institute in 2010 to provide my patients with an even higher level of care.

Normally, I feel like a pig going to slaughter when visiting a dentist office - LOL! However, I found that Dr. Binon and his staff were warm and courteous. Nothing to be afraid of - LOL!

I am so thankful for the gentle care I was given. Due to childhood accident I have been in far too many dental chairs, more than most people. I typically feel very anxious.i felt calm here. No alarming comments were spoken during exam. Dr. Binon listens; has a light touch and the vast extent of his knowledge , combined with his uplifting, strong energy,,made me feel safe and understood. He does not rush . I felt that Dr. Binon responded to both what I said and did not say. He is perceptive. It is rare to come across a truly dedicated healer and authentically present, gifted human being. .. This office is pristine, the staff like Dr.Binon, go the extra mile which creates a good atmosphere during the appointment . I came away feeling better not worse ! I highly recommend Dr. Binon -Five stars is too few.

I had a very nice introduction meeting with Dr. Binon and staff yesterday. The Dr. actually sat down with me for 15 minutes to discuss my life, go over medical history and address my needs. Another nice thing is that they didn't whisk me off to the dreaded "finance" room before I even opened my mouth. I am feeling hopeful. So far so good. They did a panoramic xray and did impression molds and will have plans available on my next appointment.

Dr. Binon is a caring orthodontist who does amazing work. He makes sure his patients are comfortable. He truly cares about every patient.He takes his time and makes sure everything is perfect. I actually really like Dr. Binon - as a person. He is very kind and incredibly empathetic. When I first met him he was concerned about treating me because of my health issues (which I understood), but at the same time I needed (still need) dental work done as I am in pain. I saw him 3 times and the second and third time I saw him, it was as if he didn't remember anything about me or my file. He was HIGHLY recommended to me by numerous people including my mother-in-law; for not just general dentistry but dentures, bridges and more. I am disappointed with their service - I went to his office three times and nothing got done. On my last visit he repaired a permanent retainer (that I had managed to never break for over 22 years! - and his fix broke in less than 24 hrs). In his defense, I was refunded for the cost of the repair. Another issue I ran across is with latex; I'm allergic to latex and during my last visit I had to remind them (during a bout of aphasia) THREE times that I was allergic! Either way, in the end, I brought it up with the front desk about my disappointment and worry in regards to the latex issue (and the retainer breaking) - I had a delayed allergic reaction (my tongue swelled that day and stayed swollen for 3 days) - I can only assume it was because latex gloves were put on near my person (3x) and hands were not washed afterwards. They did not seem to like that I complained because once I brought up my concerns the attitude of the people in the office changed - Joe's interactions with me were not "rude" per se, but were not kind or patient either. I felt left behind and dismissed. No one apologized - fine. But I did nothing wrong; then, I received a letter in the mail telling me to find another dentist; dismissive, hurtful and rude. Not gonna lie - I was already looking for another dentist that had a latex-free facility... Still - being dropped as a patient because of mistakes made by them seems very unfair. I am giving him 3 stars because I think he is a kind man, our doctor-patient relationship just didn't work out. From what I "hear" he has done great work. I just can't verify that because of my poor experience. Good luck!

My wife went here to get care. While Dr. Binon is very kind and compassionate, he couldn't seem to remember from visit to visit anything that had been discussed before. 3 times in the last visit she had to remind them about an allergy she has because they couldn't remember and would have caused anaphylaxis. He did a repair for her that didn't last 24 hours. Between that and the constantly having to remind them about allergies, we decided to not pursue further care here. After contacting them about a refund for the repair work that wasn't done properly, Jo at the front desk was extremely rude and nasty. She also claimed the charges were for work that was not performed (do you guys even take notes about anything?). We also received a letter from them to find a different care provider, which I found extra amusing as their incompetence was fairly frightening and had already caused us to move on.
