My goal is to treat patients as I would want to be treated. I want them to enjoy coming to the office, and when they leave, I want them to feel they can trust us with their friends and family as well. I really enjoy helping people achieve the smile they have always wanted. When they leave my office happy and smiling, I know I have achieved my goal.

The learning process never ends, especially in dentistry! There are always so many new techniques and treatment methods being developed. Every year, I take many hours of continuing education in order to provide my patients with the best care and most up-to-date methods for treatment. I am also an active member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois District Dental Society, and the Illinois State Dental Society.

I grew up in Gibson City, IL, and now live in Champaign with my wife, Dr. Nikkole Patterson, our daughters,Henleyand Harper , and our dog,Pee Wee. I have a true passion for sports. In addition to participating in CrossFit, golf, and softball, I am also a huge Illini, Bears, and Cubs fan. My secret love is soccer and whenever I can, I watch the U.S. soccer teams and English Premier League.

I am also active in the Champaign community. Smile Healthy is a local non-profit organization that my wife and I work with. One day a month, we see children at Presence Hospital who have severe dental needs and need to be treated under general sedation in a hospital setting.

My profession allows me to build relationships with people and to get to know them on a personal level. I will always treat patients like I would treat members of my family and never sacrifice the quality of care. I appreciate that my patients trust me and my team to look after their dental health, and it is that trust that encourages me to be the very best dentist I can be.

Through participating in continuing education courses, I am able to better myself as a clinician and to remain up-to-date with new technology so I can better serve my patients. I am a member of several industry organizations that offer continuing education programs, including the American Dental Association, the Illinois District Dental Society, and the Illinois State Dental Society.

Originally from Vincennes, IN, I currently reside in Champaign with my husband, Dr. Aaron Parsons, our daughter, Henley, and our dog,Pee Wee. I enjoy staying active and when I have quiet time I love settling in with a good book. Of course, the most important aspect of my life is my family.

When it comes to being active in my community, I feel very strongly about giving back to those in need, both personally and professionally. Proise Healthcareis a local non-profit organization that I work with. Through this program, we see children at OSFHospital, who have severe dental needs and need to be treated under general sedation in a hospital setting.

We recognize that all of our patients are unique and deserve to receive dental care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented dental team is committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding dental experience every time you visit our practice.

I graduated from Parkland College with my Associates in Applied Science in 2015. In June of that year, I joined the Patterson and Parsons team as a dental assistant/hygienist, where I helped the doctors with fillings, crowns, root canals, and many various procedures, as well as doing hygiene. Working with this team has been nothing but rewarding. The doctors, as well as my other peers, are incredibly amazing because they truly care for the patients and their needs. I love being able to be there and help patients achieve goals with their oral health.

I went to school at Lakeland Community College in 2005. Before joining Patterson and Parsons, I had the opportunity to work at a variety of offices in Springfield, Terre Haute, Paris, and Danville, gaining experience in the best ways to help patients maintain oral health. I love talking with the patients, keeping them relaxed, and making their visit as pleasant as possible. Along with our doctors and the rest of our team, I am committed to doing my best for our patients.

My husband Greg is a basketball coach in Arcola. We have two spunky daughters, Olivia and Lyla, who keep us laughing continuously. In my spare time, I enjoy woodworking! I love building furniture and challenging myself to create pieces for our family and friends.

With more than 20 years of experience in the dental field, I joined Drs. Patterson and Parsons in 2018 excited to help our patients achieve a higher level of oral health. Patient care and comfort is my number-one priority, whether Im assisting during a procedure or going over after-care instructions. I feel blessed to work for and with amazing doctors and staff, and look forward to coming to work every day.

I attended Parkland College for my Associates in Applied Science, earning certification as a Registered Dental Hygienist. In my role here as a dental assistant, I work with patients to review their medical history, take radiographs and impressions, sterilize instruments, and clean operators. I also inform patients of procedures and proper oral hygiene care, and provide materials and instruments to our doctors for each procedure. Working as a part of this team has been a blessing. Our excellent communication and trust allow us to work together to provide the best experience to our patients.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending my time with the lights of my life: my three children. When were not at one of their sporting events, you can find us watching a movie at home. I also like fishing and reading!

At Patterson & Parsons Family Dentistry, we are committed to providing the highest quality clinical care and personalized service in a warm and compassionate atmosphere. Dr. Nikkole Patterson and Dr. Aaron Parsons enjoy getting to know each patient and their families, and love creating relationships that last multiple generations.

Last Thursday. I called there 3 to 4 times. Once was at lunch hour. So, I figured I would wait and try again. No answers. I left a detailed and friendly voicemail and still no call back at all.
