Dr. Patrick O'Connor, a native Californian, received his Bachelor of Arts in Biological Science from California State University at Fullerton in 1975. He graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from USC in 1979. He practiced in La Mirada for 13 years then moved his office down the street to its present location where he has practiced since 1992.
Dr. O'Connor believes in conservative, value-based dental treatment with the emphasis on integrating the mouth with the rest of the head. Recent research has shown how destructive the lack of a good relationship of the mouth to the musculoskeletal structures can become with aging.

We provide comprehensive treatment planning and use restorative and cosmetic dentistry to achieve your optimal dental health. Should a dental emergency occur, we make every effort to see and care for you as soon as possible.

Thats why we focus on thorough exams checking the overall health of your teeth and gums, performing oral cancer exams, and taking x-rays when necessary. We also know that routine cleanings, flossing, sealants, and fluoride are all helpful in preventing dental disease. Not only are we focused on the beauty of your smile, were also concerned about your health. A review of your medical history can help us stay informed of your overall health, any new medications, and any illnesses that may impact your dental health.
Infection control in our office is also very important to us. To protect our patients and ourselves, we strictly maintain sterilization and cross contamination processes using standards recommended by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).

This doctor and staff are absolutely the best, I needed to gave a tooth fixed so I went in without an appointment and they squeezed me in and fixed it. I appreciate them and hopefully will always be able to go there and have Dr. O Connor as my dentist.

As usual Dr. O'Connor and staff are professional and efficient. Wait time is minimal and procedures painless. Most of all Dr. O'Connor is gregarious and friendly making time to see each patient and personalize each visit. Makes going to the dentist a pleasant experience.

I've been going to Dr. O'Connor for almost 20 years. I chipped a tooth and they got me in the next day. He took care of me and fixed everything up in under an hour! He and the staff are always great.
