A Bay Area native, Dr. Aurora Patino has many years of experience working with adults, teens, and children. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from University of California, Davis, and completed her dental training at the prestigious University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco. Dr. Patinos post-graduate studies continued at University of Nevada, School of Dental Medicine where she completed her residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
Dr. Patino has spent the years since focused on individualized patient care and technological advancements. Her practice has long been committed to affording teen and adult patients the option to create the smile they want with metal or clear braces, or Invisalign aligners.
Dr. Patino is proud to serve as a Board Member at the Contra Costa Dental Society. In addition, she is a member of theAmerican Association of Orthodontics, American Dental Association, and California Dental Association.

This review is a bit overdue since my aligning was completed in March 2021, but there really aren't enough great things to say about all the wonderful folks at Patino Orthodontics. Their work has completely changed my life. From start to finish, this was one of smoothest experiences ever. On my first visit, every part of the process, from the actual moving of the teeth to finances, was explained clearly. Every time I went in for a check-up all the staff members were super friendly and knowledgeable. They always made me feel comfortable and welcome. They're also very responsive as there were a couple times I emailed on a weekend to ask questions and received a reply within a few hours. I really couldn't have made a better choice for my treatment. My only regret is that since my aligning is done I won't be seeing them as often anymore! The treatment itself was a breeze, and I actually ended up finishing a little ahead of schedule. I'm on the retainer stage now, and I've had zero problems with this whole experience. I no longer feel self-conscious about my appearance or smiling for pictures. I usually have one or two moments each day where I think to myself, "Man, I'm so thankful for Patino, they rule!" Even if I tried I really couldn't count the number of compliments I've gotten on my smile in the past year. It's such a nice feeling. I'd recommend Patino to anybody thinking about getting Ortho work done. They are the gold standard in my book. Thank you, Patino Orthodontics!!!

Would highly recommend this place. I had a really horrible experience quoting another place that was not only messier, unorganized, and had a rude front desk service. I came here because I asked our doctor for a specific referral. They gave us Patinos info. Not only was the services cheaper, but the quality of service was exceptional! I am so grateful for this place!

Patino is the best!!! They have amazing staff and there always nice to me! I have been going since I was little and my teeth are so good. I am almost done with treatment and my teeth are perfect!

I came to Patino not for orthodontics, but to recertify the staff in their CPR training. I have taught countless CPR classes and I was very impressed at the capability and competence of the Patino team. I was also impressed (and comforted) by, how seriously and careful they are, in regard to their COVID-19 precautions. Dr Patino and her staff are also very a very warm and kind group of professionals, with a comfortable, clean and bright office.

I love looking at my son's beautiful smile and his very straight teeth. Dr Patino did such a great job and it gave me comfort knowing that she was taking care of it after our last ortho had quit.

I do not recommend go to your local pond shop you will get better teeth. Will not return for the overpriced and rude service

I was referred to Dr. Patino by my dental hygienist as I had an awful cross bite and plenty of other issues with my teeth. After visiting another local "chain" dental practice then visiting Dr. Patino, I was sold the minute I walked into her office. Her office is super clean and in great order which made a very nice first impression for me. And the staff were all smiles when I opened the door and they assisted me immediately. I was seen immediately by Dr. Patino which again was a very nice first impression. ( Not like the other place.) The price was reasonable and I pretty much made my decision once our initial consultation was completed. After 2 years and 6 months and now just finished my last scheduled retainer appointment, I would whole heartedly refer anyone I know, that needs braces, to go see Dr. Patino. Young or old! I love Dr. Patino and her staff as they made my 2 1/2 years pain free and, believe it or not, enjoyable! My highest recommendations to Dr. Patino's practice! Thank you Patino Orthodontics! Oh and my new smile is PERFECT!
