Dr. Koffman graduated with her first dental degree in 2005 from Medical University, College of Dentistry in Sofia, Bulgaria. She received her second degree in dentistry from New York University in 2012. Dr. Koffman joined the Long Island College Hospital and completed one year of general practice residency with Lutheran Medical Center. She received an award for Excellence in the field of Oral Surgery by LMC.
Dr. Koffman combines advanced technology and techniques with focused, personal care for every unique patient. She is an active member of dental societies where she accesses the latest information for immediate implementation into the practice and ultimate patient benefit.
Dr. Koffman has an advanced training in esthetic dentistry including bonding and veneers. She has completed an honor program in Esthetic Dentistry with Dr. John Calamia. Dr. Koffman is a certified provider for Clear Correct and Invisalign. She enjoys practicing all phases of dentistry and strives to provide all her patients with excellent care and optimal treatment results.
My passion for dentistry lies in restoring health and function to each patient I see. The most exciting aspect of my job is meeting people from all walks of life. Each person has a unique story to tell, and I find that I learn something new from them every day. I chose dentistry because it is very dynamic and detail-oriented. It has been truly rewarding to see our patients appreciation at our efforts to give them optimal oral health. I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery at New York University and have been practicing dentistry since 2006. I am an active member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Periodontology, which provides me with multiple opportunities to expand my knowledge and provide patients with the most up-to-date care.

How many of you can relate fearing the dentist or having a bad experience with a dentist that makes you fearful of going back to a dentist at all. I have PTSD and anxiety. I was even nervous when I was on the phone talking with Stephanie to make an appointment and she was very nice and understanding. I had my first visit at Patient , Friendly Dental and as soon as I walked in the door I was greeted with smiles and friendliness. My fears were melting away . They explained everything to me before they did anything and Dr. Block very nice gentlemen. Anyone who is looking for a good dentist and friendly staff I recommen Patient Friendly Dental. Patient Friendly Care is a place where I feel myself at home with my family that I love, respect and trust. I've been under dental treatment with them for more than a year, and I thank God for that.
