Dr. Sanchita Mehra is a Board-Eligible Periodontist who began her dental journey early on as an intern at her childhood dental office in Long Island, New York. After graduating from Boston University with a Bachelor of Arts followed by Rutgers University with a Master of Biomedical Sciences, she decided to follow the sun for her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. There, Dr. Mehra developed a passion for periodontal surgery, and graduated from the University of Southern California with a certificate in Advanced Periodontology and a Master of Science in Biomedical Implants and Tissue Engineering.

I am a long term patient of Dr Molayem and couldn't love her more! When I was a child I fell on a terrazzo floor and chipped my front teeth. After some bad repairs I never again smiled with my mouth open. Three years ago Dr Molayem crowned all my front teeth in the most beautiful NATURAL REAL color and truly for the first time in my life I smile with my teeth showing and don't slyly cover my mouth when I'm talking to others. Her staff is wonderful and caring and support her. Dr Molayem's dentistry is unparalleled and I most sincerely recommend her!

I can't say enough about the professionalism and patience i received with Dr. Molayem and her staff. She is friendly and gentle (knowing I have a fear of dental work). She takes her time to explain what is going on and then performs the work efficiently. I had an emergency one evening and she met me at 9pm to take care of it all and sent me home feeling so much better. I highly recommend Pasadena Smile Center!

I had not been to the dentist for so many years and Was so anxious for my visit. After My visit with Dr. Molayem I feel reassured and comfortable. The office is nice and clean. The front ladies were so nice and Dr. Molayem is an amazing dentist.

Way overdue review. Service was so bad I felt it was necessary to warn others. This place has questionable ethics. They upsell and are rude if you don't go along with it. They are also terrible at their jobs. I came to this place for my annual, back when they were located on Claremont. The dentist said I need to get a "deep cleaning" which cost much more than a regular cleaning. I have annual checks and cleanings and no other dentist had ever told me I needed a deep cleaning. When I went in with the hygienist, Tenny Belderian, and told her I would just be getting the standard cleaning, she turned into a horribly rude person. She was snappy and cold and proceeded to give me the worst dental cleaning of my life. She rushed through it, was super sloppy, and kept hurting my gums with her aggressiveness. She only spent about 15 minutes on me and the following day my gums were red and swollen. Don't waste your time here.

The worst dental experience I have ever had. They are overpriced, billing makes lots of mistakes, and they are HIGHLY incompetent. Because of Dr. Moyalem, I had to go to an after hours emergency dental office. I first went in for a dental cleaning where they convinced me that I needed a more expensive in depth cleaning. I fully regret agreeing to this since it was no different from a regular cleaning. Dr. Moyalem also did some work on my teeth, including tightening a loose dental implant. She drilled a hole in the implant to be able to do so. Almost immediately after returning home, I had severe dental pain and my gums were swollen. I called the office and Molayem saw me again that same day. There was already an accumulation of pus where she tightened the implant! She admitted I had an infection but didn't do anything to help and said I needed to return a few weeks later and see the implant specialist. She was clearly not qualified to be handling implants. I was NOT about to wait weeks to see the specialist when in a matter of hours I had already developed a serious infection. I couldn't believe how unethically and irresponsibly my case was treated. I ended up having to find an emergency dentist that same night. The ER dentist struggled to remove the implant, cleaned it and prescribed me some antibiotics. After I healed, he reinserted the implant properly and I had no more issues. I wish that were it but on top of all of this, they kept trying to bill me extra charges, which I had to constantly call and demand that they fix. My advice is to steer clear from this place!

Aside from being utmost professionals, top notch at their craft, Dr. Molayem and team are just incredible people. Going to the dentist was one of my lifelong fears before moving here to So Cal. From my first interaction, they all took the time and care to put me at ease and address my concerns. It's been over 10 years, and I have would never dream of going anywhere else.

Super nice facility and staff. I went there for a second opinion on a problematic tooth which they addressed (1st option, there may be other adjustments needed later). I am considering making them my primary dentist ever though they are three times further away than my current dentist.

All I can say is WOW! I never post reviews, but I simply have to give my dentist's office some serious props. I am a busy physician and was running late for my appointment (ironic, I know). I was the last patient at the end of the day, and I was running super late. I figured they would cancel my appointment, but instead, they waited for me even though I was going to show up well after my time slot. They wouldn't admit it, but I'm pretty sure they even stayed late for after they were supposed to close up, just to help me out. The hygienist Sean (sp?) was insanely nice about it all, too, even though I felt super guilty. Not to mention, he has been so kind every time I have visited. I think you'd be hard-pressed to find customer service like this anywhere else in the area. This office is seriously top-notch!

I had a great experience at Pasadena Smile Center. Dr. Molayem is very knowledgeable and so caring. All of the office staff are friendly and helpful, and my wait time was minimal. The office is easy to find and has parking! I will be returning for all of my dental needs.

Super amazing staff the front ladies are always very helpful my duaghter tooth chipped and they were to fix it asap duaghter was super happy she didn't go to school all chippy.
