With a keen eye for detail and an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, Dr. Baldwin Marchack naturally gravitated to the field of dentistry. He earned Doctor of Dental Surgery credentials from USC School of Dentistry in 1971 and went on to complete MBA studies at UCLA in 1989.
In 2012, the American College of Prosthodontists inducted Dr. Marchack as an honorary member based on his vast experience, professional presentation, published works, and other stringent criteria. He has the distinction of being the last general dentist to earn this recognition.
Despite many awards and acknowledgements throughout his career, Dr. Marchack cites his proudest accomplishment as the relationships he has developed with patients at his private practice. He serves the Pasadena community with a focus on restorative, esthetic, and implant dentistry that genuinely improves quality of life.
Dr. Christopher Marchack joined his fathers practice in 1987, bringing a wealth of up-to-the-minute academic training from the highly-esteemed University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco.
He is also Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, Department of Preventive and Restorative Sciences; and Clinical Instructor at the University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry, Department of Preventive and Restorative Dental Sciences.
He is a published author on topics related to restorative implant dentistry, in several peer-reviewed journals. He sits on the editorial review board for the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Implants. Dr. Marchack has been featured on local and national television segments about dentistry, and he lectures on national and international levels.
He approaches the daily challenges of dental care with boundless enthusiasm and good humor, greatly enjoying the company of his patients and the dental team at Pasadena Prosthodontics and General Dentistry.
Dr. Eugenia Chans passion for rebuilding damaged teeth is only matched by her passion to educate and serve others be it dental students, patients, or underserved children, seniors, and families.A graduate of the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California, Dr. Chan went on to earn her certificate in prosthodontics from one of the worlds top dental schools: the Harvard School of Dental Medicine (HSDM).
While pursuing her Doctor of Dental Surgery and Master of Medical Science in Oral Biology degrees from USC and HDSM respectively, Dr. Chans proficiency in restorations and tooth replacement, as well as her excellent communication skills, was on display as an instructor and teachers assistant, and attending to pre-clinical students at Harvards school within a school: the Harvard Dental Center.
Dr. Chan has worked side-by-side with Harvard and USC professors on research related to advanced dental materials and technologies. She deftly juggled the pursuit of her DDS and prosthodontist certificate, an achievement that requires at least three years of additional training and education beyond dental school (as one of nine specialties recognized by the American Dental Association), with an array of leadership and community involvement activities.
Dr. Chan was also recognized by the Commonwealth of Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services for her work on online bilingual dental education. The curriculum was designed in conjunction with Kentuckys new health and well-being program for low-income youth, adults, and seniors.
A proud advocate for womens representation in dentistry and Asian American students, Dr. Chan served on the Lucy Taylor Hobbs Society to foster support and networking among female dental students, the SoCal Asian Greek Council Board, and Asian Pacific Student Assembly. She is also proficient in conversational Cantonese.
When Dr. Chan isnt creating beautiful smiles with restorations and prosthetics that are indistinguishable from healthy, natural tooth material, or empowering patients and communities to be well through outreach and one-on-one education, she can be found enjoying arts and crafts, or water-based pursuits from swimming and water polo, to scuba diving and fishing.

Dr. Marchack and his team are the most friendly, efficient and knowledgeable I've ever encountered in my 60+ years! My husband and I relocated to Dana Point a year and a half ago and continue to make the trek for our appointments. Covid protocol is quite Impressive - a very safe environment indeed. It's easy to become "family" with everyone in the office, including the friendly maintenance man!

Nothing but positive things to say about the office staff and the doctors. Always welcoming and professional. Highly recommend. Been going to their office for several years. Office is open for services, call and set up consult and make sure it's the right fit for both. They've taken great care to keep patients and staff safe. Good communication between patient and staff. I've also posted on next door to refer patients in my neighborhood Hopefully we will get back to normal when this pandemic is resolved

Ive been attending Dr. Marchack office over 10 year's now, an the this doctor and his wife Doreen, are very kind , caring, an take 110%!n their work , very ethical folks , professionalism at its best,,their staff is very caring & all seem to be very kind an take 100% in the way they conduct their themselves in all aspects!!! I would most definitely refer/recommend any individual to make an appointment, an you will definitely have a very comfortable an caring, an the most pleasant experience you could ever have experience, you all will feel at ease , most folks get nervous at dental visits depending on what you're circumstantial status requires , any type of injections you won't even know or feel or experience any pain or whatsoever, very invasive and experience! I personally had a lot of work done from Mrs & Mr. Marchack an their just all fantastic was n all aspects, you'll love them & the entire staff!!! So make an appointment so you folks can write a better review than mine , so please all new patience, don't hesitate an contact this office ASAP! Dr Marchack's office has been taking care of my teeth for over a decade now. I originally came as part of the dental implant process but the office now sees to all of my dental needs. The entire office is very professional and caring, and they utilize all the best practices in dentistry. Dr B, Dr C, and Dr Chan have all cared for my teeth at this point, and they are great. The hygenists and assistants are all amazing. I highly recommend this practice.

I am highly satisfied with the procedure completed by Pasadena Prosthodontics and with the level of expertise of the staff members at Dr. Marchack's medical facility. They also use state of the art technical equipment and are well-versed on the latest medical treatments. I recommend their dental facility without any hesitation; they are top notch!

I feel so grateful that I was referred to Dr. Marchack when I needed to have 2 crowns made for my front teeth. Dr. Marchack didn't view me as a patient, but as an active participant in the process of giving me my smile back. He and his staff are caring, knowledgeable and always professional. Even though I was pleased with the initial crowns that were made, he insisted that they could be better and went on to give me crowns that are indistinguishable from my natural teeth. My only regret is that I can't give him and his staff more than 5 stars.

Dr. Eugenia Chan thoroughly examined and found a few cavities that needed to be filled. I had yearly check ups elsewhere and got missed on those! My main concern to see Dr. Chan is to discuss the appearance of my front teeth. I had wanted to change my old front crowns and after her thorough consultation, I chose to go ahead with the treatment. The result was beyond amazing. The ceramist came in during try in appointment and delivered what I exactly asked for. I am so happy with my beautiful smile!
