Dr. Azhar is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. She is certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. She also maintains hospital privileges at Clear Lake Regional Hospital and Memorial Hermann Hospital South East.
She is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Texas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Medical Association, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
She received her dental degree from the University of Texas School of Dentistry and graduated at the top of her class with multiple awards including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Dental Student Award, the American Association of Dental Research Outstanding Student Award, and the University of Texas Kroeger Research Scholarship Award.
She then completed a prestigious six-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Texas School of Dentistry. In addition, she also received her medical degree from McGovern Medical School in Houston.
Training at one of the worlds leading medical centers provided opportunities to work with innovators in both medicine and dentistry. An experienced presenter at national conferences, including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and Southwest Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery meetings, Dr. Azhar has a passion for continuous learning to stay at the forefront of advancements in patient care.
Dr. Azhar is committed to providing excellent care with a nurturing and caring environment for her patients. Her special interests include surgical tooth extractions, advanced bone grafting-techniques, implant surgery, and pathology.

Dr.Azhar & staff were amazing! My daughter had all 4 wisdom teeth removed and although we both were a nervous wreck... Dr. And staff did great keeping her calm. We are so greatful to have such a wonderful experience.

The whole team rocks! My daughter had to see them and we were very pleased with her experience here. They they made her very comfortable and made sure to thoroughly explain everything before and during the process. Definitely recommend!!!

Dentists are great. They will make you pay in advance for anesthesia Incase the insurance does not cover it. The issue is you will not get the funds back. This office was paid by the insurance in February and still has not refunded my money after they were over paid by almost 500.00. The district manager is hard to reach and when I did reach her it was only because I threatened to file with the dental board. I was told by her the dentist was out of town on a religious holiday and had just returned. And a check would be put in the mail that day after he was out of surgery. That was two weeks ago. They will not answer my calls or emails. STAY AWAY!!!

Amazing staff with an amazing doctor! Such a great environment. Everyone is a little fearful to have surgery but they made everyhting so smooth and comfortable. The doctor is extremely knowledgeable and very sensitive to the procedures at hand. She understands the patients have to be at ease and she does just that. The staff is beyond courteous and they walk you thru to every detail and made sure the processes were clear!

I was afraid of taking out my wisdom teeth and finally made the decision to do so. Im glad I choose the right doctor to do the procedure. Everything went smoothly and I wish had removed my wisdom teeth earlier.

Dr. Azhar and Lucy her assistant were amazing, very caring and explained every single step my young son with Autism will go through in his wisdom teeth extractions. Very happy with their professional demeanor. They also see regular patients. The receptionist was very kind and helpful. Absolutely will give 5 stars in general.
