Meet Dr Pallavi Kavety Shes originally from the Midwest, but shes happy to call Pasadena her home. She loves the city for its rich culture and family orientation, and because it is a kid-friendly and safe place to raise a family. She is the founder of Pasadena Childrens Dentistry & Orthodontics, which opened its doors in May 2019 with a mission to provide exceptional dental services to children from every walk of life. She has been serving the Southern California community as a Pediatric Dentist for over six years.
Dr. Kavety received her degree in Dentistry from the University of Southern California in 2010. She then pursued specialized training in Pediatric Dentistry at NYU Lutheran Medical Center in 2013. As part of her residency, she attended an externship training at Radys Childrens Hospital in San Diego. She became board-certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in 2014.
Dr. Kavety is enthusiastic about pursuing continued learning. She is also certified for Invisalign. She is a member of American Dental Association, California Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and the San Gabriel Dental Society. Dr. Kavety volunteers at Give Kids A Smile program for underserved children as her way to give back to the community.
When she is not fighting sugar bugs, she is a devoted mother to her two kiddos who keep her on her toes at home. They love traveling, exploring cultures and cuisines. She advocates living a healthy life so she always finds time to engage in Fitness & Strength Training. At the end of a busy day, she sits on her favorite couch and relaxes with a cup of chai tea.

Bringing a ten month old baby to the dentist may be anxiety ridding, but this place was great! So happy we opted for a pediatric dentists office vs. our regular dentist. Baby has a little anxiety about people touching her mouth, but they made it as quick, clear and painless as possible! Glad to keep coming back!

Dr. Kavety is an exceptional dentist. She shows genuine interest in her patients. She talks to them while she examines them as well as when she is having to correct dental issues. She makes the children feel they are in good hands. Her staff is excellent with the children. They are patient and willing to explain what they are going to do before they start any procedure. My three boys no longer dread going to visit their dentist.

Awesome staff . All the assistances and dentist were so kind patient and walked my daughter through her extraction. This was are third attempt and it didn't disappoint. I'd recommend this dentist for all children including special needs children such as my daughter... I'm definitely going back. Above 5 stars.

Pasadena Children's Dentistry and Orthodontics is amazing! This was my daughter's second appointment (she is 1 1/2) and she didn't cry at all! So grateful for this team who prioritizes how kiddos feel and explaining dental care to parents!

I am a parent of a 9yr old daughter is a patient of Pasadena Children Dentistry. My daughter had to receive a procedure and the staff was amazing. They had patience & informed me what they were going to do before the procedure started. My daughter had four baby teeth removed. They give the children prizes, have Disney+ in each room for the child to watch during their appointments. It's a great facility with amazing staff.

My granddaughter had to have some work done about 8 months ago. She was super scared and nervous. The staff and dentist made her feel comfortable and the work was done. Now she is on regular visits. The environment is super clean and inviting. Again the staff is friendly and polite. The dentist and hygienist are professional, gentle and patient. As each visit goes by my granddaughter is less scared, the visits go well. We are so happy to have found this place for my granddaughter. We definitely recommend this dentist office. We are grateful and appreciate the kindness they show Stella.

Great Experience! a. I had some initial concerns on the website, and Dr. Kavety fixed the concern immediately. b. The staff is very sweet for my five year old and me -- probably sensing MY nervousness in a dentist office. c. Doctor Kavety basically gave an intro to dentistry while I waited for my child to get her cleaning. She explained A LOT that helped me to understand oral health and the role I can play in my child's dental health. d. My child was very comfortable during the cleaning. I am happy my child has a positive experience so young.

We came here in an emergency for an abscess. They got us right in, and gave me peace of mind, and reasonable treatment. What a wonderful experience! My children love coming here and so do I. They don't waste time, but they take plenty of time with each child! They respect my decisions for my child and advise respectfully suggesting alternatives if I am unsure about treatment plans. Very informative, patient, and comforting. My daughter said "I didn't even know you could go to the dentist and it wouldn't hurt!" They always pause when my children are uncomfortable, and never forceful about anything. My children are ages 3-11. We have had cleanings, a wiggle, and sealants. We didn't have insurance on our first visit, but it was so reasonably priced I was honestly surprised how wonderful the service was! Very Covid safe. They made sure we had cleanings all at the same time, when we came back with our other 3 children. I didn't see anyone else in the room.
