Dr. Shawn Dial is a graduate of Grand Valley State University and the University of Michigan (1999). Studying occlusion and Temporomandibular Joint Disease (TMJD) at the Dawson Center, she is also a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association and the Western Michigan District Dental Society. An active participant in Childrens Dental Health Month, Dr. Dial enjoys travel and photography when shes away from the office.
Dr. Matthew Gietzen completed his undergraduate studies at Denison University before earning his D.D.S. from the University of Michigan (2005) Dr. Gietzen also volunteers with the Western Michigan Dental Foundation. Most recently, Grand Rapids Magazine readers named Dr. Matthew Gietzen the Best Dentist of Grand Rapids in 2010. Hes a member of the Western Michigan District Dental Society, American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association and the Kent County Dental Society. Residing in Grand Rapids, Dr. Gietzens hobbies include traveling, reading, golf and downhill skiing.
Dr. Steve Grabiel earned a kinesiology degree from Michigan State University. He also graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2013. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Michigan Dental Association.
Dr. Grabiel is from Birmingham, Michigan and now resides in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He met his wife, Lisa, at MSU who is originally from Grand Rapids. They have three daughters. They love to cook together and garden. Dr. Grabiel also loves to water-ski, snow ski, and go fly fishing.
As you may know, Dr. Vander Kolk was a partner in our practice for 15 years before leaving 12 years ago to dedicate himself full time to providing care to people in need, both locally and in other countries around the world. We are very excited to have Dr. Vander Kolk rejoin our practice!
