I DON'T understand why he is still able to practice when so many people have had problems with him! DO NOT GO HERE!! You would literally be better off doing your own dental work! They were friendly (fake) but everything was rushed and nothing was done properly. My face was bruised for almost 2 weeks after I had dental work. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Now I'm looking for a new dentist to fix the problems he caused. Read some of the reviews from the other people. He did the exact same things to me! PLEASE DON'T GO HERE!!! They wrecked my teeth!

Worst dentist I have ever seen. Doesn't wait for numbing agents. Ruined all my teeth. Has know moral code or empathy. Laughs at you in your face.

He did a front tooth root canal and did not take the nerve all the way out. I told him befor he did the procedure Iv been checked by a prior dentist and was told there's an infection. He didn't listen and not I cannot get my tooth worked on bc my insurance doesn't cover retreats. I didn't know how bad the reviews were until after the fact and now I won't go back to rod parsell. He had his license revoked I believe in 2008 for negligence. I have called the BBB and reported his practice. I was at napoleon community health and they weren't happy because he is screwing people. I'm glad my work provides insurance so I think I'll be ok. I just don't think after reading all the reviews rod parcell needs to keep doing dentistry. I myself did have a good experience while there. He was just extremely fast. 25 minute root canal. Community health told me it should take about 1 hr 30 minutes. I highly recommend everyone and anyone with bad experience report him to BBB. He won't screw anyone ells up or over.

Very poor experience for my children. I have never witnessed children get a cleaning and three cavities filled in less than five minutes. Took my son to another dentist to find out all the fillings he did with need reworked, nothing was cleaned around the teeth needing attention prior to filling. The dentist said don't ever take your child back to him. Thankfully we got a second opinion and have been referred to a pediatric dentist. I will be filing a complaint with the Ohio board. I do not recommend this dentist at all. After discussing it with friends and family I have only heard horror stories. So sorry for anyone who else has dealt with this.

I wish i could review with negative stars absolutely the WORST dentist ever I got infected with MRSA from him and now paying for it for the rest of my life

HIS LICENSE WAS REVOKED FOR NEGLIGENCE AND REINSTATED IN 2009. AVOID HIS NEGLIGENCE. AVOID THE PAIN. RUN. HES HORRID. I've never seen a worse dentist. He yelled at me and I am severely autistic. All I wanted was my appointment time. Don't go here. Don't even waist your time. He is so mean.

I had an emergency right before the weekend and the team took me in and took care of it with in 30 minutes! They were so kind and went the extra mile. I'm so grateful !

Worst dentist ever! He did 2 root canals and a couple fillings on me a few months ago. He refused to put crowns on the root canals and the fillings he did are way too thick and l can't even chew right anymore. Today one of the teeth that he did a root canal on completely broke off at the gum line because he did such a horrible job and refused to put a crown on it. STAY AWAY, unless you want your teeth completely screwed up.

Awesome dentist! Handles children with severe anxiety really well and gets them calm almost immediately. He also will stay later than his normal hours for those that have school or work during the day. My kids have been going there for 4 years now. And even though we moved about an hour away a year ago I still take my kids to him. He and his staff are very nice and caring. He has a nice little office that is perfect for being able to get to really know their patients. And there is no long waiting period or hoops to jump through to start seeing him. He always gets you in within a few days. Mostly the same day if you call soon enough or the next day. You never have to wait forever past your appointment time to be seen. Because they run their office right and schedule appointment times correctly. My children will be seeing him until long long down the road when it's his time to retire. He and his staff are wonderful!

WORST DENTIST EVER! He didn't wait for my mouth to get numb before doing a root canal, then he said he didn't believe me when I said it was hurting! Why would anyone lie about being in pain?! The tooth he worked on is too high, I can't chew right! He didn't even attempt to make it look natural, it's just a big blob of filling in it! Not worth the shorter 15 minute drive! I'll happily be going back to the dentist that is an hour away!

Terrible place, messed my teeth up even more than they were. drilled holes i didnt need. now i am suffering long term consequences from letting that man near my face. Terrible bedside manners as well.

Was in pain so he was the only place that could get me in ASAP. Went in and did 1 xray and looked in my mouth for 2 seconds and said it was a bruise, nothing he could do, I went to my other dentist and it was infected and has other stuff going on, and I was going to get a cleaning done but I was unable to do to Rodd charged me for a cleaning through my insurance that was never done, I called for it to be corrected and nothing, so my dentist took pics to prove there was no cleaning done 2 weeks prior of his claim, and when I try to call he childishly hangs up on me, so fraudulent charges being made and not helpful or professional, state board will be contacted and insurance companies as well to open an investigation, can only imagine how many other people were fraudulently charged

Please avoid this dentist! 2 kids cleanings done and out in 20 min. There was no true cleaning on their teeth at all and come to find out my daughter had a cavity that was not treated. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worse enemy.

Despite the awful reviews I went and gave this guy a try... my children and I saw him. He filled some cavities... The receptionist is super nice and the assistant were great as well. However almost a year later my cavity filling is out and my husband also had some work done and his all went bad too. As far as kindness goes the office has it. When it comes to doing a job and doing it right..... you might want to find someone else.

My girlfriend went in today to get a tooth pulled... I came home to her crying about how much of a jerk this dentist was to her. Didn't wait for her mouth to go numb before he started trying to pry the tooth out of her mouth then went on about he was doing her a favor by even having her as a patient. Unfortunately we need another dentist because this one is hot garbage
