Dr. Maria Parrella founded Madison Periodontics in 1994. She graduated undergraduate from Rutgers University and attended the New York University School of Dentistry and completed her periodontal residency at the University of Pennsylvania. In addition to her practice Dr. Parrella serves as the Treasurer for the New Jersey Society of Periodontists. Dr. Parrella is a periodontics specialist, meaning she specializes in the treatment and prevention of gum diseases.
