Dr. Chow was born and raised in Clarksdale, MS, where most of his time was spent in the outdoors hunting, fishing, playing sports and rooting for the Rebels! He was also very active in church where he did everything from running the video cameras to going on mission trips, of course, his favorite being medical and dental mission trips to Honduras where he could put his dental knowledge to work.
Dr. Chow went to New Orleans where he attended dental school and found not only a new home in Louisiana, but most importantly his amazing wife Kim. After school he spent time practicing dentistry in Alabama, but it was decided that there really is no place like home. Mrs. Kim and Dr. Chow now are back home in Mississippi where and most of their time is spent chasing after their beautiful sons, Brandon and Preston.
Dental bonding can have both cosmetic and functional benefits. If you have minor structural damage, such as small chips or cracked teeth, Dr. Chow can conceal these flaws with tooth-colored composite resin. Dental bonding is comparable to veneers, but it does not require any tooth preparation. Dr. Chow can also use dental bonding to treat small to moderately sized cavities.
Crowns or 'caps' can repair severely damaged teeth and, in some cases, conceal cosmetic blemishes. A crown will fit completely over your tooth, and will be custom-designed to match your smile. Dr. Chow offers same-day crowns made with advanced E4D technology. The process involves use of a digital scanner to take images of your teeth. Then our in-office fabrication system creates a porcelain crown, in about one hour. Some patient 's needs have to be addressed with a more traditional porcelain fused to metal crown and we will take into account your bite strength, amount of healthy natural tooth you have and even your habits to determine the best choice for you.
A root canal is then performed to clean out the infected tooth pulp, and disinfect the canals of the tooth. The only other treatment would be to extract the tooth. Once the infection is resolved, the canal(s) are filled in to prevent any further infection. Usually a core build-up and crown is recommended for restoring a tooth that has had root canal therapy.
If you want to correct surface aesthetic flaws or reshape your teeth, porcelain veneers can be a simple, effective choice. When placing a veneer, Dr. Chow will carefully remove a small layer of your tooth enamel. This process makes room for the veneer, and does not weaken your tooth. Our lab will then use impressions to create natural-looking veneers from durable, sparkling porcelain.
Porcelain veneers can beautifully conceal a variety of cosmetic issues with durable, lifelike results. LONG-LASTING RESULTS The porcelain used to create veneers is highly durable and stain resistant. With proper care and maintenance, veneers can maintain their brilliance for years to come. Patients who practice good oral hygiene and regular dental examinations can expect their porcelain veneers to last for about 10 years.

As being my 1st visit to Parkway Dental, I am very impressed and pleased. The appointment time was a little off, however, it wasn't a bad wait. The dental assistant was very attentive and caring. Dr. Chow was outstanding. He did an extensive exam of my mouth to evaluate my complaint and afterwards suggested to me how he could fix my problem. As of today, I am a very happy patient and do plan to continue using Dr. Chow as my Dentist.

I had a very short wait time.But more importantly,Dr.Chow is is a kind,gentle man who actually cares about people.He gave me excellent advice,took time to explain things and it was obvious that his primary concern is his patient and not how to make most money from them!

My first visit to Dr.Chow he has.a wonderful staff, they are friendly outgoing professional and knowledgeable they explain everything to you so you can understand. Honestly there should be six stars for Parkway Dental! Dr. Chow is a wonderful dentist who is passionate about his work and very caring for his patients. I have been there for multiple appointments this past year and the service has been consistent every time. The entire staff is friendly, professional, and very competent in their work. My wife went there last week for the first time and she was very impressed with the modern technology. The staff made her feel like she had been a patient for years. We live in Vicksburg and I can assure you that it is worth the drive if you need to find a dentist and staff who will take good care of you.

Dr. Chow is an excellent dentist. The staff at Parkway Dental is always professional and courteous. I recently experienced a dental issue and I was able to get a same day appt. I love parkway dental, I was referred by a coworker and now my children, brother and father now frequent the practice. Staff is always friendly, they keep you up to date on payment options for bigger procedures which is very helpful as well. Prior to covid 19 2019 I was very happy with services and friendly staff. After they reopened. I would have to say that I'm very unhappy with Dr Chow's services. 3 of my teens went in the office for simple filling and ended up in pain weeks later. I recall Dr Chow expressed how he was unhappy with the way Delta dental was not paying well and we noticed his frustration thru his provided services. During my last visit I expressed that I had a concern, no follow up call, so here is where I decided to post it.
