Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.

An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.

Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

I'm new to parkway dental today was my third visit. I'm so thankful to have found them. everyone in there is super professional and friendly. And we aren't talking the fake friendly, you get genuine you can tell they all want to be there friendliness. I have been afraid to go to the dentist after some of my latest experiences but Dr Sembhi has THE best bedside manner and not only is she great with her clients you can tell she has the up most respect for her assistants. For as long as I'm in the area parkway will be where I go for dentistry

I've spent a lot of time in the dentist chair starting from an early age, missing teeth, braces, retainers, bridges, crowns, root canals, routine fillings, broken molars due to grinding, of all the dentists I've had I can honestly say I've never had a better dentist than Dr. Sembhi. She explains what's she's going to do on each visit. She takes her time and is very gentle, making it as pain free as possible. I am usually very nervous about going to the dentist but not with Dr. Sembhi. She and the entire staff are so nice and friendly which makes it an all around great experience.

Had an excellent experience during my dental emergency. The front office was extremely helpful and was able to squeeze me into the schedule on short notice. Dr. Sembhi in particular was great. She did the best to save my tooth from a root canal and I could tell she went slow to protect the nerve of my tooth. What I really appreciated was that she told me throughout the process where she was at and what else she had left to do. This gave me an idea of how far along she was in the process and helped me relax. The best part is that I had no pain, even now 8 hours later. The assistant Jessica was also very efficient and very good. Finally the front office staff in particular, Vanessa was great. It's hard to smile after sitting in a dentist chair for an hour but her charm and delivery was excellent. Overall a great experience from a dentist, and that is something I can easily say I have never said before.

I'm new to this office. I just came here to get a root canal done. I saw Justin Wong and he was amazing! When he numbed me up, I hardly felt it. Made all the difference in the world! He is very gentle. Did not hurt me at all. The other 2 staff members that were there were also very helpful and kind. I was very nervous and didn't want to be there, but they made me feel very comfortable and explained everything and knew what to expect. No surprises, they told me everything. If you need a root canal- I recommend Justin Wong!

I unfortunately did not have the best experience. Although the office was clean and the staff was nice, the work I had done on my teeth was a nightmare. My husband and I just moved to the area, so I was looking for a new dentist to get established with. I was ready for the regular exam check and a possible cleaning but ended up staying there for over 3 hours. I got my exam with Dr. Tully. He stated I should look into Invisalign due to crowding (I have never been told this by another dentist), also suggested getting my teeth whitened and that I needed to look into getting a mouth guard while I sleep (Also never been told this before). He also recommended I have two fillings redone. This isn't my first rodeo with fillings so I expected an easy fix and I would be on my way. EVERYTHING went wrong. They didn't have the right tools, the water device was dropped on the ground at one point and they ended up needing 2 other people to help him fix one filling. These two fillings took more than an hour to complete. I left there feeling like I had razor blades in my mouth. In the following days, I began to feel excruciating pain in the tooth he had done one of the fillings on. I called to have them recheck it because I knew something was wrong. It took them 3 days to get me back in (3 days I sat in pain). He ended up redoing the filling for a second time and claimed he got close to the nerve so I might be in more pain. It's been two weeks and I am still in pain. I ended up having to call another dentist, who said I may need a possible root canal now due to my filling not being done properly. I will not be going back, nor recommending anyone to go back either.

My family and I have been patients at Parkway Dental Group for about three years. I have always been reasonably happy with them. Until today. My three children have insurance under my ex-husband. My husband and I have our own insurance. Every single time we have an appointment for the kids I get a call the day before telling me that my children aren't covered by my insurance. I explain that they are covered under their dads insurance, and they fix it. The issue is that the office continues to think my kids and I have the same insurance and don't seem to have a way to differentiate one family having two different insurances. This has been mildly annoying, but always fixed quickly with a competent and polite staff. They have acknowledged what the issue is and have always been quick to find the problem and correct it when we speak. My son showed up early to his 10:00 appointment. I received no call the day before the appointment, so I warned him that there may be an issue and explained how to handle it. I got a call from him just after 10 when he tells me that they have done exactly what I told him would happen (because it ALWAYS happens) and that he needed more details for his dads insurance. I give him the information, but Tyese Evans, the office manager for the dental group (who I have seen make mistakes in the past that her staff has to fix for her) tells him that he can't be seen this morning because it's getting too late now. (It is now 10:11 am, and the only reason it's even that late is because she had him step aside so she could help other people, and because they didn't call the day before to sort this out) He tells her no, that his only availability is this morning. She says the insurance needs to be fixed. They go back and forth. Then I ask to speak with her. I try to explain the situation, and every time I try to explain, she cuts me off and tells me I'm wrong. It's hard to imagine I don't know what I'm talking about when I told my son before he left exactly what he might run into when he got there, and then it actually happened. Clearly I knew from experience what to expect. I let her know that it was unacceptable to not see my son when he arrived early, they didn't contact us the day before to let us know about the issue with the insurance so it could be cleared up ahead of time, and she wasn't even capable of handling the insurance inquiry. (I have worked with two other staff in the office who seem to find insurance coverage within minutes, but Tyese didn't seem to know how to do that, which is unfortunate given her position as an office manager) She agreed to have him seen. We hung up the phone and my son said she went into the office of the dentist and was gone for a while. She came back out with him and the dentist said he would like me to call him. I have always loved this dentist. I am a very nervous patient and he has been so accommodating and gentle with my phobias. I was happy to talk to him. But when I explained my frustration, he only wanted to discuss getting my son seen and fixing the insurance. I stated that I felt that his customer service issues were something that I would like to see resolved and he would not agree that this was an issue to discuss. He said he would have a staff member contact me to finish the insurance issue, and I requested it not be Tyese as she seems incompetent at best, unlike his other two staff members. We have a family of five that visits this office. We will no longer be returning. I have no issues with the quality of the dental work, the hygienists are wonderful and two other support staff are a pleasure to work with. By Tyese Evans is incompetent and rude and she is the reason that we will not be returning and that I highly recommend you not visit this office. If you read through other reviews you will notice that everyone appears to have the same issues with her. The entire office is lovely, with the exception of the office manager. If she ever leaves, we would reconsider this decision.

First time at the office for a extraction by Dr. Moorhouse. I was a little worried about this place after reading the negative reviews, but every person that i interacted with at the office went out of there way to make it a positive experience. The front office was quick to greet me and check me in and very sweet and personable. The x-ray lady also very quick and very professional and nice. The dental assistant to set me up for the extraction very nice, informative and professional. Then the whole extraction with Dr. was super quick and easy, also very nice and professional Dr. No complaints by me and I would definitely go back for any other issues.

I really enjoyed my dental visit. I am a really happy that I chose Parway Dental. I really like the personality of Ruby. She was amazing. I love the way that she explained everything that was going on step by step. She was fun to talk to. This made me calm down. I was so nervous to go to the dentis because I have not had dental work in so long. I always care for others before me. I would definitely go back with the rest of my family.
