Raised in Anderson, South Carolina, Dr. Thao Latham earned a bachelor's degree in accounting with a minor in science at Clemson University before completing her doctorate at the Medical University of South Carolina. After dental school, Dr. Latham worked in a pediatric dental office for three years, where she nurtured her passion for working with children. She completed her pediatric dental residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. This allowed Dr. Latham to gain experience in behavior management, sedation dentistry, and working with patients who have complex or special needs.
She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and is currently working on becoming a board-certified pediatric dentist with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
A native of Anderson, South Carolina, Dr. Jason Latham began his career as a registered respiratory therapist, where he helped patients and their families through some of their most difficult life challenges.
He went on to attend the Medical University of South Carolina and obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in health science, his doctorate of dental medicine, orthodontic certificate, and his Master of Science degree. During his residency, Dr. Lathams research on intraoral scanner accuracy was published in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, and subsequently received the Judson C. Hickey Scientific Writing Award from the journals editorial counsel. His work with colleagues on intraoral scanner accuracy was further featured in the journal of Orthodontics and Craniofacial Research.
