Dr. Schmidt has been a dentist for over 15 years and its a career that suits him well. He likes to fix things! His attention to detail has been a useful complement to his interest in the science of dentistry. Communication is also important to Dr. Schmidt. He makes sure that patients understand what goes on in the dental office and why it matters to their health.
Brandon L. Schmidt grew up in Gilbert and graduated from Highland High School, in Gilbert.Its not hard to imagine that Dr. Schmidt is a family man. He and the lovely Dr. Tara Mattingly-Schmidt met during their dental training in Kentucky. The happy couple is blessed with a wonderful little boy that is the joy of their life! The Schmidts are excited to balance dentistry, play, and a growing family.
Dr. Schmidt trained at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and has been licensed to practice in Arizona since 2010. He routinely seeks additional training in all areas of dentistry. Dr. Schmidt is happy to provide advanced dental procedures such as Endodontics, Implants, and Dental Cosmetics.
My ideas about dentistry are straightforward: Do what is right, and do it right. I appreciate the opportunity to evaluate and correct dental problems that would otherwise have an unfortunate effect on peoples lives. Emotional and physical health depends on a healthy mouth. It makes people happy to have a great experience and the dentist, and it makes me happy to provide that experience! Interacting with patients and staff brings me a lot of joy. I love doing detailed and meticulous tasks, and I could not imagine a better career choice. Theres a lot of value in what a healthy smile can do for a person.

A horrible experience with this new dental office---Parkview Dental on 4895 S Higley Road, ste #101. I didn't receive any service but a billing statement. Due to an unforeseen situation which prompted me to look for a new dentist to care for my dental needs. (My previous dentist Dr. Ho shut down his practice without notifying his patients. I was with him for over 10 years.) I checked with my dental insurance for my coverages before I made an appointment with Parkview Dental. I specifically told the front desk clerk that I need my 2nd annual check because Dr. Ho had shut down his business. Also, informed the clerk that my insurance only covered bitewing X-ray not full mouth and the office accept me as a new patient. I also asked could their billing check with my insurance as well then get back to me with the coverages. So, she scheduled me as a new patient on 10/18/2022. I called the dental office at least three times, including 10/17/2022, prior to my appointment because I never received a phone from the billing. The clerk asked me to be on time for my appointment and the billing might have information for me tomorrow. I made it to my appointment on time and asked has the billing obtained the coverage from my insurance. Unfortunately, the billing hasn't. I told the clerk I can leave if the dentist insists on me having a full mouth X-ray. She went in and discussed with the hygienist. Please note that the hygienist was running on her schedule. Later on, the hygienist took me into the exam room (the dentist pop in to say hi then left). She asked me that you are concerning the X-ray coverage! So, I had to tell her the whole thing again. I told the hygienist that I'll be more happy to leave if you insist on doing a full mouth X-ray on my teeth instead of bitewing. She said that she needs to consult with the dentist. After a few minutes, the dentist came back and told me that I ought to leave. I left. A few days later, I received a billing statement that I've been charged for $65.00 "patient dismissed after refusal of diagnostics". This is unbelievable, this dentist has no shame to charge me after what I had informed them about everything. I have filed a complaint to BBB. Be aware of the dental office's practice, the dentist will charge you $65.00 for just saying hi. Don't go there. Queenie

When I walked in everyone was so welcoming. The best part of going to this office is the explanations that were done all the way through my appointment. They work you financially and overall I was very impressed!

My husband had his cleaning done here and was so happy with the hygienist and office staff that he felt at home. I asked how his visit went he told me great he stated that the doctor and all staff was very kind and very professional. He felt at ease not stressed. Thank you Parkview Dental I also recently had received a lot of dental work and honestly I dislike going to the dentist however the entire staff and Dr. Schmidt made me feel very relaxed. Dr. Schmidt is the best Dentist I have ever been to. The staff is so friendly and always makes me feel like family. I would HIGHLY recommend Parkview Dental to everyone. Today I had yet another exceptional visit to the dentist! That's right! The dentist. From Rocio at the front desk to Colleen, my dental hygienist. OMG, Colleen, was so professional and gentle, constantly asking to make sure I was okay! I would reply "uh huh" in between sucking up the water in my mouth and the opening wide again! Lol. If you have had a bad experience elsewhere, this is your place! Dr Schmidt is so great at communicating his process of care. He took me through an Invisilign course of treatment and my smile is now gorgeous! And it will remain so because of the exceptional care I receive every time I come in and I'm there every three months for a cleaning because, I don't want to brag, but I'm a plaque former. So check for pockets, ultrasound away plaque, scrape scrape scrape and brush brush brush! That's how to spend a wonderful dental appointment at merry ole Parkview Dental. Parkview Dental is the place to go for all your dental needs.

Dr. Schmidt and his staff again treated me with great kindness and understanding. I am so sensitive to any oral discomfort. With each visit the first order of business is to insure I understand what is going to take place, addressing all my questions, and above all - making sure I am in total comfort. Was a great experience. Colleen was my tech...soft gentle hands. She talked me through the whole procedure. Dr. Schmidt was friendly and professional. Answered all my questions so I could understand. Definitely recommend this practice.
