Originally from West Point, GA, Dr. Mary Wolfe Doornbos graduated summa cum laude with highest honors from UGA in 2005. She then attended the Medical College of Georgia, School of Dentistry, where she earned her DMD degree in 2009. Dr. Doornbos practiced general dentistry for a year before pursuing additional specialty training in pediatric dentistry. She completed her residency in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Louisville, School of Dentistry in 2012, and became a Board-Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in 2014.
Dr. Mary is married to Dr. Grant Doornbos, a Cobb County native who is an anesthesiologist practicing in Cobb County and surrounding metro Atlanta. The Doornbos have twin boys William and Fynn, twin girls Mary Drew and Vivi, and a black lab named Buckley.
Dr. Mary is committed to providing the highest level of care for her patients by staying current on all pediatric dental topics and treating every patient as if they were one of her own. She considers it a great privilege to be a part of your childs journey to a lifetime of oral health.
Jennifer has been employed at Parkside Pediatric Dentistry since June 2020. She began her dental assistant career in 2018 and was an intern in our office while she was completing her training. We are excited to have her back with us as our lead dental assistant. Jennifer is married to her husband, Chris and has two children. In her spare time, Jennifer likes to bake, play video games, and love on her three dogs, cat, and hedgehog.
Sarah joined our team in February 2021. In the early 2000s Sarah was in the radio communications field. Due to changes in print and radio, Sarah decided to make a career change into dental hygiene. She graduated from Georgia State University in 2017 with honors. She couldnt be happier with her new career as a pediatric dental hygienist. It is her honor to have the opportunity every day to educate and entertain children while communicating the importance of oral health and nutrition. Sarah is married to her husband Matt and they have one child. In her free time Sarah enjoys caring for her two rescue puppies and renovating her home.
Jocelyn has been employed at Parkside Pediatric Dentistry since September 2021. Jocelyn graduated from Gwinnett Tech with a degree in dental assisting in 2016. Her dental assisting career has been spent in pediatrics and she brings a wealth of knowledge to our team. Jocelyn is married to her husband, Carlos and has two beautiful boys, Eden and Daniel. Jocelyn enjoys drawing, visiting the beach and watching movies.

From the time you step into their office they're all very welcoming the front staff the hygienist and the most amazing soul Dr. Mary. Our boys look forward to their routine check up every time. My daughter has extreme anxiety, to say the least! From the second you walk in the door, there is a feeling of comfort and calm (if that makes sense). They are so laidback that my 4 yr old kept sitting in her 'lap'. They are putting my daughter all the way under and that causes me to have, oh, I don't know, just a little anxiety! So far so good. I feel like they are the team for the job! Years since; couldn't ask for a better dental team! Dr Mary is amazing and you receive nothing but the best from the moment you walk in the door! If you are looking for a pediatric dentist look no further!!!

Wonderful experience first and second time around. Toddler usually afraid of medical offices but they are so friendly and nice that he smiles and likes going there. A definite win for us! Very great and thorough cleaning and knowledgeable. Thank you for being so great with kids.

The entire team at Parkside is top-notch! They have anticipated what will make kids feel welcome, by having toys to play with while briefly waiting, TVs on the ceiling during the visit & do a wonderful job setting expectations for how they are checking their teeth & what will come next. 10/10 for Dr. Mary & Team & their highly coveted Treasure box after a successful checkup!

This is exactly what a pediatric practice should be like. Everyone is so warm, friendly, and patient with the tiny patients. I've been in healthcare for over a decade and have never been so instantly impressed with a practice. Dr. Mary has built an incredible team and I will be recommending Parkside to everyone I know with pediatric dental needs!

This is by far the BEST pediatric dentistry I've ever taken my kids to!! I am a mom of 2 boys and they are so welcoming and kind! My kids loved that they had a TV on the ceiling, lol! From a mom perspective, they are very thorough and offer a pleasant atmosphere! Love them! I wish they did adult teeth too!

The absolute greatest experience I have ever had at the dentist. I wish adults could come here. There is such mindful attention to detail through the toys available for kids in the waiting room, the soft and patient way the hygienists and dentist explain every procedure to kids, and the bright and welcoming environment. We felt cared for throughout this experience. The cleaning and visit was quick yet comprehensive and we did not feel rushed. I genuinely could have stayed all day. Everyone we met was friendly, inviting, and eager to give every patient a 5 star experience. This is truly a gem in the community!

My daughter chipped her front permanent tooth on the side of a swimming pool. Dr. Mary was able to replicate her tooth with precision, gentleness and a kindness that is especially necessary when working with children. She is a gift!

Let me just start by saying Woww Wooww And Wooww!! if I could give 100 Stars I would!! My daughter was referred to Dr.Mary for possible IV sedation/a lip tie, tongue tie procedure. Having an Autistic child it has NEVER been a fun visit to the dentist. && the staff and Dr. Mary changed that today! From the moment I contacted the office Cassidy was great setting up the consult, and gave us such a warm welcoming. Jacklyn the Dental assistant was phenomenal from the moment she called us back. My daughter has never laid back on a chair and she was able to do that today! She was so patient, sweet, and made my daughter feel so comfortable. Dr. Mary is so Knowledgeable, addressed all my concerns, kind, and has great state of the art equipment in her office. Today with her amazing team they were able to perform the procedure on my daughter, And my daughter left so happy ready to go back into to the waiting room and to play with everything they had. Thank you ladies!!!!
