I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, School of Nursing, and after serving as a licensed registered nurse, I applied and was accepted to attend the University of Nevada Las Vegas, School of Dental Medicine, where I earned my Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry. Upon graduation I served four years, active duty, in the U.S. Army. While serving in the Army, I completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry, at Ft. Jackson, Columbia, South Carolina, followed by practicing three years of general dentistry at Ft. Bliss, El Paso, Texas.

I am committed to providing the highest level of care to my patients, and I believe the only way to achieve this is to stay current with the latest materials, techniques, technology, and equipment. I frequently participate in continuing education classes, technical and practical training courses, conferences, seminars, and symposiums, as well as subscribe to dental publications to stay current.

Im Steph! I completed my dental assistant training at Minneapolis Community and Technical College, and I have been working in dentistry ever since. I love working at Parkside Dental! My favorite thing about the job is being able to provide an awesome experience to our patients and getting to know them. When Im not at work, I like to watch movies, try new restaurants and new foods, see live music, and play with my pup, Sweet Pea! I am also a new mom- I welcomed my first child (its a boy!) in November of 2021, and have been over the moon ever since.

Parkside Dental PC - General dentist in Minneapolis, MN

Hello! I'm Mary, and I am Parkside Dentals newest full time Dental Assistant. I completed my dental assisting program at Herzing University. I have very much enjoyed working alongside Dr. Weber so far, and meeting so many of the awesome Parkside patients! When I am not in the office, I like to spend my time baking, cooking, getting together with my family, reading, binging Netflix shows, and hiking.

Bothered by the noise and vibration of the dental drill? This air-powered device could make that familiar high-pitched whine a thing of the past! Working like a mini-sandblaster for teeth, this hand-held device removes tiny amounts of tooth material with precision control.

If you don't like needles, this may be just what the doctor ordered: a pen-like device that meters out the precise amount of anesthetic you need and even pre-numbs the insertion site, so you really won't feel a thing!

Hate to wait? By combining 3-D digital imaging and computer-aided design and manufacturing technology, it's now possible to have permanent crown restorations completed in a single day much better than leaving the office with temporary crowns and coming back weeks later for permanent ones!

What's better than an x-ray of your teeth? An on-screen, movable 3-D representation of your jaws! By taking a series of x-ray slices and stitching the images together with a powerful computer program, Cone Beam CT imaging creates a virtual model of your mouth. It can be used to find disease, plan procedures, and visualize internal structures that formerly wouldn't have been visible without surgery.

Tooth replacement took a giant leap forward with the widespread use of dental implants today's preferred method of replacing teeth. Dental implants are small titanium posts that replace the root part of your missing tooth. A realistic dental crown is then attached to the implant for a replacement tooth that looks and feels exactly like what nature gave you.

Remember biting down on a tray of putty-like material, so a model could be made of your teeth? A digital imaging device now makes that unnecessary. Instead, your teeth can be dusted with a fine reflective powder, which is then recorded by a special camera. A series of images is converted into a 3-D model, which can be used to assess a tooth's condition or fabricate dental restorations.

Diagnostic x-rays have long been invaluable to dentistry. The emergence of digital technology in the past decade, however, has made dental x-rays safer and even more useful. Digital technology cuts radiation exposure to patients by as much as 90% over traditional x-rays. And there are other advantages including the elimination of waiting time for pictures to develop, and sharper images that can be enhanced instantly to show detail.

A picture is worth plenty, when it comes to helping you understand your dental examination, diagnosis and treatment! With these tiny cameras, you can see what the dentist sees, on a small chair-side monitor. The images of your teeth can be saved as stills or video or even printed out so you can see exactly what's happening in your mouth.

They're inside DVD players and scanner wands and now, they are making their dental debut. Lasers are being used to detect tiny spots of tooth decay, treat gum disease, and remove cancerous cells in the mouth. They are also employed in gum surgery even cavity treatments!

Dr. Weber and her team are spectacular. Not only are they willing to talk you through the prices more clearly than most dental practices, they also do well to create a comfortable and kind environment. Dr. Weber makes sure to explain every step when you are with her--walking you through any and all your procedures from a simple cleaning to a root canal. Her staff are clearly communicative with each other and always seem to be a connected group of hardworking peopleThank you all for doing a spectacular job!

Dr Weber is an AMAZING and FABULOUS! My situation was very difficult and other dentist gave me no hope; Dr Weber took on the challenge and is a work in progress. I was to the point of hating dentist in general, but she manage to rekindle my fate on dentist, she's so good that the root canal that she have done on me have been better that the specialist I have seeing in the past; ever since I have been seeing her she has spend her time with me repairing the damage that other dentist have done and I have to say some of the damage I have done on my own. Her office employees are very pleasant to work with and no matter the time if I'm in downtown and no appointment I have to stop there just to feel better. Dr Webber, you're an amazing lady and you do an excellent job and I thank you for brightening my life.

I called about an in office whitening consult on 5/14/21 for an upcoming event. I was informed there is a $200 consult charge which is taken off the final cost of service if you choose to move forward, but is lost if you do not go through with the procedure. Having had both Zoom! and Opalescence in office whitening procedures in the past at different cosmetic dentists, and a rhinoplasty at a plastic surgeon's office, none of those practitioners charged consult fees. I understand you're a business but come on, that level of fee is half the procedure cost and kind of ridiculous if someone doesn't move forward. If you wanted to bill your clients by the hour, then maybe you should have gone into law.

I wanted to leave a review because I really feel like I had a wonderful experience at Parkside Dental. I have not been to a dentist since I was a child and to be honest, I didn't really take care of my teeth at all. I had been thinking about finally going to a dentist but I didn't know where to even begin to look for one. Thankfully my girlfriend recommended Parkside and I mustered up the courage to schedule an appointment. Megan at the front desk helped me schedule my initial appointment with Dr. Weber and she couldn't have been more welcoming and informative. She gave me all the information I needed, explained what to expect and also cracked a few jokes with me which really helped put me at ease about going. My initial appointment with Dr. Weber was more than I expected. I was blown away by how much I learned about my dental health. Dr. Weber's assistant Stephanie took me back to the room to do X-rays first. Stephanie was very kind and professional. Again, I hadn't been to dentist in however long so I was very nervous. Stephanie walked me through what to expect during the appointment and after she took some X-rays Dr. Weber came in and asked me some questions about myself. I cannot express how funny this lady is! She made me feel so comfortable and soon I was having so much fun that I forgot I was even at the dentist! (Who ever though that was possible??) I just want to thank everyone at Parkside because I have never learned so much about my oral health as I did at this appointment. After doing the exam, unfortunately it was determined I have gum disease. I knew my mother had it so I was somewhat familiar with the term. Dr. Weber and Stephanie explained thoroughly to me what gum disease actually is, how it is caused and why I should care about it. I felt so educated about my situation. It was really nice for them to take real time to help me understand what is going on and how it could effect my overall health in the future. I was given all of this information without feeling overwhelmed or judged. I really appreciated this because it was very scary for me to even go to the appointment and it was a huge step for me so I just want to thank Dr. Weber for helping me by being so wonderful and informative. I was able to schedule my next deep cleaning appointment and Dr. Weber told me she would look at my X-rays and sit down with me at that appointment to go over what she found. I left that day feeling like I had been genuinely taken care of by these people and I wasn't just a number. My deep cleaning appointment was also with Dr. Weber and Stephanie and it went very well. I can see the difference in my gums and my teeth look and feel so clean now. I was informed how to brush properly and why flossing is important for me. I was so motivated that I even went out and bought an electric toothbrush! I feel so much better now about my oral health and I really give Dr. Weber and her staff credit for educating me and providing me with such wonderful service. Wow, what an amazing experience at Parkside. I would recommend this office to anyone who is looking for a dentist!

I have EXTREME dental anxiety- after a particularly bad experience at the dentist as a child, I haven't been back in almost ten years. I was very apprehensive about Dr. Weber working on my teeth. I was absolutely blown away with the level of care, consideration, and empathy I received at my first visit back to the dentist in almost a decade. Dr. Weber was understanding and tolerant with my level of anxiety, she was patient with me and made sure I was comfortable and aware of what was going on during each and every step of the process. After my appointment with Dr. Weber, my teeth were unrecognizable! They look better than ever. She also took the time to take pictures of problem areas, explain the concerns and the reason for all recommended treatments. She even created a little color-coded diagram for me to take home with a full plan for my treatment. Overall, this dental office has exceeded my expectations from a dental provider. From their professionalism, to the level of energy they devote to catering to patient needs, to the emphasis on patient education and understanding, Dr. Weber and her team went above and beyond. I would 100% recommend this practice to anyone. After years of harboring dentist phobias, I can say that I honestly look forward to my next appointment at Parkside Dental.

Dr Weber and her team are Minnesota's best dental practice. I was nervous (aren't we all?), Dr Weber explained options, recommendations, and followed through with quality care and concern for me. Thank you, for everything, I speak the highest of Parkside Dental to anyone needing a cleaning or more troublesome dental work taken care of. (I spent hours reading reviews from other practices, including this one -- I'll save you the trouble, this is the dentist office to visit!)

Dr. Weber and the staff of Parkside Dental PC are the best in the business. About a year ago, I shattered a molar (number 19) and did not have a regular dentist. Each provider referred by insurance either didn't have openings for the next two months or weren't accepting new patients. Parkside Dental was able to see me in two weeks. Dr. Weber extracted the remnants of the shattered tooth, and developed a comprehensive treatment plan for the remaining teeth. Dr. Weber is assiduous in all aspects of patient comfort and care. I'm generally an anxious person, and add the fact it had been a couple years since my last checkup, my anxiety was an order of magnitude worse. Everyone at Parkside Dental consistently goes above and beyond to provide a calm and relaxing environment. A year ago it took copious quantities of novocaine, nitrous oxide on max, headphones, and Netflix in order to get through dental procedures. Now, I only use headphones to manage. A dental pun after a long session of fillings and crown preparation made it all worthwhile. After building up the core of a tooth with blue resin, Dr. Weber's assistant quipped "now you can tell your friends you have blue tooth!"
