Dr. Richard Stiles believes that integrity and compassion are the cornerstones of professional care at the highest level. He loves helping his patients achieve their best possible smile with the latest advances in implant and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Stiles believes everyone deserves a healthy smile. Each person he sees has unique needs and desires, and he treats every patient with the same attention to detail as he does his own family. To make sure his patients always have access to the latest advances in dental technology, Dr. Stiles attends continuing education and specialized courses far above and beyond what is required by state regulation and is proud to offer operating room-based reconstructive and general anesthesia services by partnering with some of the nations best periodontists and oral surgeons.
Born and raised in Pekin, Illinois, Dr. Stiles completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois in Champaign/Urbana. He earned his doctorate in dental surgery from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he received the Universitys prestigious Master Carver award in both 2004 and 2005.
Dr. Stiles unyielding desire to learn doesnt end at the officehes also passionate about violin performance, auto repair, computers, and radio-controlled helicopters. Whether traveling, biking, boating, or skiing, Dr. Stiles and his wife love to keep busy with their sons, Evan and Kendall.

Dr. Stiles is great. Knowledgeable, easy to talk to and has a great sense of humor which always helps take the edge off a trip to the dentist. While I wish dentists were still able to do root canals Dr. Stiles makes reasonable efforts to avoid that road and is always there with solid referrals when needed. When I had a recent dental emergency, they found a way to get me in next day and get me set for a pain free cruise vacation. The staff are equally friendly, approachable and are always there to answer questions. They genuinely seem to enjoy working with each other which is nice to see. You won't regret going here for your dental work.

My experience with Parkside Dental was excellent. I was nervous because I had not been to the dentist in a while and this was my first time in this office. As I went in, I got a good impression of the facility, but it was the people who made the difference. Everyone was so friendly and made me feel so comfortable. The doctor was not rushed and took the needed time to explain everything. I will definitely continue to come here.

Everyone is so pleasant and welcoming there. Once you're inside you receive a personal experience from everyone you encounter. Patrick at the front desk is very knowledgeable and helpful. Dr. Stiles is also very honest and upfront and helpful when he can be regarding dental plans. I particularly enjoy chatting with the dental hygienist Liz. Even though there had been months elapsed between visits she still remembered me personally and we continue to chat as if we knew each other. Very friendly and informative about her job. I highly recommend this dentist and staff.

I had an emergency and the office got me in right away. From the front desk staff to the to the dental hygienist everyone was very pleasant. The doctor made everything easy and was very quick, explained everything and had an excellent bedside manner. Only thing I had an issue with is the location. I couldn't find the office at first, it's located at the front of the building there is a little gap in the middle of the building, easy to miss but again I was in pain so I wasn't really paying attention.

I have always had issues with rough dentists that hurt my mouth. Dr. Stiles is extremely gentle and makes sure that I am comfortable. He explains everything in great detail and lays out a plan for what to expect. His staff is reliable, kind, and very professional! I would recommend this practice to anyone who needs a great dentist.

Best place to get your teeth squeaky clean! Dr Stiles and his hygienists make the whole experience so much better than your average dentist. Always make sure you're OK and answer every question you might have.
