This plan is meant to help our neighbors maintain solid dental routines when dental insurance is not offered by employers, at an affordable rate.

We also accept CareCredit. CareCredit is a credit card that helps you pay for dental visits that may not be covered by insurance, with no down payments and no penalty for early payoff. With special financing options, you can use your CareCredit card again and again for your dental needs, as well as at thousands of other healthcare providers, including optometrists, veterinarians, ophthalmologists and hearing specialists.

Sanitizing: These measures include ongoing sanitation of our entire facility including heavily used areas such as door knobs, sinks, restrooms and patient care areas. As always, all of our instruments go through a rigorous sterilization process between every patient. Our lab coats are kept and washed onsite. Air purifiers are stationed throughout the office. The playground is cleaned daily.

Scheduling: We schedule families with a buffer of time in between patient departure and arrival in order to sanitize surfaces to avoid any possible cross-contamination. Please stick to the scheduled times to reduce contact between families.

At Parkland Pediatric Dental, we make every effort to keep children comfortable while providing top-quality dental care. Heres a brief overview of our childrens dentist services in the greater Gilbert, AZ area.

It was while working with kids and adults in a low-income clinic that he found his true mission. He was heartbroken to find so many of his adult patients had experienced traumatizing dental treatment as children, and now avoided the dentist at all costs. They typically came in only when the pain and infection was so severe, it became necessary to extract their teeth. These adult patients were eager to bring their children to a kid-friendly Dentist they trusted. Their children often had severe cavities, but the visits went well. Dr. Cattron loved how a smile, a high five and a hug could turn even a difficult dental visit into a positive experience for these kids. Dr. Cattron knew he could make the greatest impact by giving each child an amazing dental experience and not fear coming to the dentist. Ever since, his passion has been pediatric dentistry.

When not at work, Dr. Cattron is still surrounded by kids. He and his wife Jennifer have four children. He often says that raising children was the best training he could receive to become a great pediatric dentist!

Jennifer Cattron is currently in Dental school. We are looking forward to her joining us at our practice in 2022. Her passion is helping build tween and teen confidence through good oral hygiene and happy smiles.

When your babys first tooth emergeswhich often occurs at about six monthsyoull want to begin brushing it. Also, its important that your baby sees the dentist by their first birthday. By establishing healthy dental routines from a very early age, its far more likely that teeth and gums will remain in excellent condition for years to come. At Parkland Pediatric Dental, we specialize in dentistry for children of all ages. Heres a look at five interesting facts about primary teeth, also known as baby teeth.

At birth, all 20 of a babys primarys teeth are therehowever, theyre hiding out just beneath the gumline. These teeth often start appearing around 6 to 10 months, and have generally all arrived by age three.

While it is exceedingly rare, sometimes babies are born with teeth that have already emerged. This happens once per about 2,000 births. Such teeth are commonly removed because they often have roots that are so weak the teeth are prone to falling out and posing a choking hazard.

It can be quite tempting to share food and utensils with your kiddoes. But by doing so, you could actually pass along Streptococcus mutans, which is a kind of bacteria that commonly causes cavities. Because baby teeth are susceptible to cavities, you dont want to pass this bacteria along to your child.
