Dr. Jennifer Idziorek is a kind and enthusiastic dentist practicing in Parkland, Washington. She loves dentistry, and feels that it is a perfect marriage of art and science, while giving her the opportunity to build lasting relationships with her patients and her community.

Dr. Idziorek grew up in Duluth, MN. Her father is a dentist and started bringing her with to assist with emergency patients in the middle of the night when she was still in elementary school. Her mother is a nurse practitioner who inspired her to make a living caring for others. Her parents are both retired now (mostly) retired, and living in Bonney Lake. She has one sister who lives in Charlotte, NC and one brother who lives in Seattle.

After graduating from dental school, Dr. Idziorek moved to Philadelphia to take a position as an oral surgery intern at the University of Pennsylvania. There she studied advanced surgical techniques, trauma and pathology, and worked in Oral Surgery clinic as well as the emergency rooms of both the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and the Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia. After she left Philadelphia, she worked in a large group practice outside of Minneapolis, during which time she volunteered for the Minnesota Mission of Mercy and Minnesotas Give Kids a Smile Day, both venues of free dental work for the underserved.

When not working, Dr. Idziorek loves to kayak and hike, read, garden, cook and bake. She is very excited to be living in the beautiful Pacific northwest, and so close to so many wonderful parks. On the weekends you can find her hanging out with her neighbors at socially-distancedhappy hour or riding around Washington with her boyfriend on his motorcycle.

Dr Robert Idziorek was born and raised in Duluth, MN and had his own dental practice there for 41 years. He went to the University of Minnesota Duluth for undergraduate studies, and then the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He helps out at the office from time to time with his daughter, Dr Jennifer Idziorek. He is (mostly) retired, and lives in Bonney Lake with his wife, Pam. Had a great cleaning, and Amy did a great job with keeping the shots from hurting. That's usually the worst part, and I hardly noticed it!

I've been coming to parkland pacific dental since I was a kid, I'm now 29 and have never even given it a thought to change dentist. The hygienist's and Dr's actually remember conversation about your life from 6, 12, 18 months ago, and treat you like a member of the family not just a number that they have to see for the day. Everyone always seems happy, welcoming, and professional. I drive an hour out of my way to continue to be a patient here!!

I was a patient of the previous dentist. However, I won't be going back. I went on two occasions. The first time, all the dentist wanted to do was pull the tooth and put in an implant. I could live with the tooth the way it was, so I didn't go back. The second time and the last time, I had fallen and injured a different tooth. The dentist wanted to charge almost $5,000 for that one tooth. It did include an implant. Then they charged me $150.00 for emergency services. For an x-ray? No thank you. For $6,000, I can get 3 crowns, that tooth extraction, and 4 fillings at the dentist where I will be going here on out. And this dentist is going to try and save the tooth Parkland Dental wanted to extract. Gee, what a decision. A really nice dentist who cares about me or one ok dentist who cares how much they can charge me. Gee, what a decision. I went today and got a filling with the second dentist. Not Parkland Dental. They were so nice. The procedure was painless. I have to make a choice. Do I go somewhere who does wonderful work and cares? Gee, what a decision. For the reasons above, won't be Parkland Pacific Dental. Gee, that really wasn't a hard decision after all.

I had a very good experience at Parkland Pacific Dental. The office staff, my favorite dental hygienist, Sherri, Dr. Sjulson and his dental assistant, Zhanna are so amazing!! Very friendly dental office. I wished I would've stayed here after my longtime dentist, Dr. Tommervik retired back in 2014. After having bad experiences at a couple dental offices, I am very glad I came back to PPD. I always liked how Sherri is always thorough with my cleaning/x-ray exams. I had a root canal/cerec crown done along with 2-3 fillings within a few weeks time. Dr. Sjulson is very caring along with his dental assistant, Zhanna. They both make me feel very comfortable during my dental work procedures. Dr. S has very gentle hands. I would recommend PPD to all my family and friends.

So first off want to say that the hygenienst Sherry, front desk Savannah, and dental assistant Jenna, and Dentist Sjulson D.D.S. would receive 5 stars. I would have given this office a 4 star review with the downside that they did not give me a cleaning the same day as the new patient exam. Now for the reason I won't be returning...Dr. Idziorek does not have good communication skills or humility when dealing with her customers. When trying to talk to her about my son's teeth I wanted to express my desire to take care of the cavities in his permanent teeth first then address the baby teeth. We did not agree. She stated she wanted to extract a baby tooth that would fall out 2 months from now and already wiggling. When I asked her about her overall plans she seemed bothered and just wanted Jenna to write it up and give it to Savannah. I tried to explain to her that I am the one footing the bill so I wanted to know walking out feeling like I had a good understanding of the treatment plan in general for our plan of action. Again she pled the fifth and said she couldn't read it from a two dimensional xray. First she said she couldn't do fillings because it was leaking into the pulp and it needed extraction. When I said if you extract it would u put a spacer in it. She said No. That isnt how spacers work. I said really? Because when I had my tooth extracted then they said I would need to put a spacer to provide support for the other tooth until an implant could be place. Then she agreed and said yes but I would have to see a kids specialist. Overall I felt that she didnt take the proper time to communicate with me reasonably or explain a treatment we could agree on. It was her way or the highway. I was going to keep seeing her husband for the implants but then when I found she would be doing the work you could understand my hesitance. Also I tried to get the cleaning scheduled and they said it would be months out. It is sad that this poor service is becoming the norm. They get u in to take xrays and run up ur bill but when it comes to actually getting in again to get an appt. for service cleaning, fix, ur teeth, etc. Good luck. Maybe I am old school but I don't settle for less than I deserve which is respect. Obviously, they have enough clients to piss away 2 other new patient exams, a cleaning, 4 fillings (son) and a 2 extractions and (2) dental implants on someone who actually has very good dental insurance. I intend to find someone with better bedside manner.
