Everyone here was absolutely amazing. I am literally a 30 year old cry baby terrified of the dentist. Chasity was so sweet from the beginning she assured me i would be so comfortable. Maddie in the front was sweet and welcoming, Tiara was gentle while taking my xrays and talked me through my terrible anxiety. Carolina the hygienist is so so sweet she made me WANT to get a cleaning. Dr. Reyes was so gentle with a great bedside manner and was very aware of my dentist anxiety. And Docs intern assistant i couldnt even tell she was new and learning (forgot her name sorry). This is an amazing Practice of caring people and providers and i will be back! Im also terrible with names but everyone made such an impact on me i remember almost everyone!

Wow. I'm still in complete SHOCK at the unprofessionalism. We had emergency appt for 4pm for my 8 yr old, which they didn't mind taking and quickly accommodated us. (Great!) But than we waited 2 hours. Yes 2 hours. They did X-ray and tried to numb her with a gel. Than when Dr. R came in HE wasn't able to do it. NO PATIENCE, NO COMMUNICATION....he just got up and left! My daughter and I thought he did the shot and were just waiting for him....15 mins later the hygienist comes in with a Pediatric Dentist referral! THANK YOU FOR WASTING OUR TIME, FOR MAKING MY DAUGHTER ALL EMOTIONAL FOR 2 HOURS AND THAN TO BLINDSIDE US AT THE END. 265 google reviews almost 5 stars....fake marketing at its finest. I will make sure to not recommend this place!

Everything started out nice with scheduling new appointments. My daughter and I did not have good experiences. When I arrived as a new patient, I communicated that I ONLY wanted services for the crown that were covered under my insurance plan. Later in the day, when the numbness wore off, I had extreme pain. The pain lasted for weeks in my jaw area. The pain was so severe that I could hardly open my mouth wide enough to eat. Pain management suggestions were offered to help remedy the problem area. Furthermore, my explanation of benefits showed a charge for a service that my plan did not cover. In addition, my daughter's teeth cleaning experience left her gums sore for days. She is used to pleasant dental visits. Due to these issues, we must find another home dental office.

Really not a dentist person, and get nervous. The hygienist was very patient and made sure I was not feeling any discomfort. This was the best cleaning I ever had..

My wife and I both went to this Dental office in search for a new office for ourselves. At first I thought I was going to have a good experience but, my wife did not. She was charged for dental scans that she was told she would not pay for even after letting them know that she had dental images already taken and insurance would not pay. I should of taken this as a sign, I continued to go even though I just wanted to go for cleanings only. Of course, I was told I needed deeper cleaning and decided to go with it after seeing what was going to be charged. I checked with them that my insurance would pay for it and I was assured it was. NEVER BELIEVE THEM. My insurance did not approve nor decide with all the evidence provided that it would be covered. Of course I did not know about this and paid my portion of the bill which was not cheap. This was after waiting almost 2 hours in the dental chair waiting for my dentist. This operation was done in May 2021 and I do not find out about a bill until Jan 2022. After calling I thought it was going to be disputed only to find out it never did. Apparently I had to dispute, fine, I tried calling many times to get the info and evidence why it was needed. Every time I was told, "Yes, we will send it to by the end of day or hour". Fast forward a few more months, I find out my bill now gets sent to a collection agency. More calls later and still not one thing sent to me nor any info that I was being sent to collections for a portion of the bill my insurance was supposed to pay for that I am now responsible for. In the end, THIS IS A HORRIBLE DENTAL OFFICE. Avoid going here as they will take your money with no remorse. They do not contact you when its important about billing or that they will send you to collections. Only to make sure you go to their appointment set up to steal more of your money. I also see that there is a brand new dentist leading the office meaning that they cant even hold on to dentists. Don't be tricked by the smiles and 'gentle' facades and I hope this review helps someone in the future avoid what I went through.

Dr Urena amd team at Parkland are professional, compassionate and very competent. I just had a crown put in and the entire process went extremely well. I trust these folks and would recommend them without hesitation.

Friendly, Proactive and Quality. Those are my impressions of this practice. Everyone are friendly, and welcoming. They are very proactive on their treatment, prevention is always better then fixing once it is an issue. They are focus on the quality of their work and ensure our dental health is tip top or try to get there. My only issue is their office hour, I have a 9to5 job, so it's very hard to schedule appointments especially because they do not do weekends and sometimes not even Fridays. Overall, it is a good place to take your family for your dental needs. Been going to this office for 5 years. Went through 3 different dentists and multiple hygienists, even got my invisalign done here too, no complaints, even if you do, they will work their best to fix it!

I love how clean and how the ladies are gentle because I am super afraid of dentist in general. I go to the same facility for couple years however this time they called me 3x to confirm the appointment and sent me 4 text message... That was a bit excessive...

Dr. Huang is a good dentist. Unfortunately, the billing department at Parkland Family Dentistry is dishonest regarding insurance benefits and credits to an account for overpayments. We went to this office for years. Several times we received credits on our account only to find out that we had previously overpaid. I feel that we should have been informed immediately regarding overpayments. The office staff made decisions to hold credits on our account without giving us an option of how we wanted to be reimbursed. Currently, we are waiting for a refund of close to $400 for an overpayment beyond the maximum allowable on the EOB from our insurance provider. This has been going on since August of 2021. This provider consistently insists that they are correct even after speaking with the insurance company and receiving the EOB. I like this dentist. However, my family and I found another dental provider since we are not comfortable with the way this office handles insurance claims and payments.

I can't express enough how pleased I am with Dr. Urena and the entire Parkland Family Dentisty staff! They are really the nicest people ever. The facility is so clean and really nice! Beautiful and comfortable waiting area. Dr. Urena was very pleasant, patient, kind and gentle with me! She took the time out to explain the procedures I was getting done and she made feel so comfortable. I did a couple wisdom tooth extractions and was never in any pain at all! I highly recommend them! I've already referred a few friends and family members! Thank you sooo very much Dr. Urena and the entire staff for everything! I'll never go anywhere else!!!

My first time experience was great. Siobhan greeted with a friendly smile and was very helpful with insurance. Carolina was also very friendly and very informative. Smiling and sweet. I was very happy with my experience.
