It's all about the money, money, money. They could care less about the actual longterm patient-practice relationship. When I chose this dentist, it was due to the proximity to my office. At first I was impressed with the repeated attempts by Carol to bump up my appointment. I now know it was just a tactic to get to my wallet faster. During the initial visit, I was told I needed to come back two more times for a deep cleaning. When I inquired about cost, I was assured they'd handle the billing and send me an invoice. Nothing to worry about, they'll take care of everything. It was on the second visit, btw, that I got the aggressive sales pitch to buy an electric toothbrush from their office. This was after the teeth whitening sales pitch on the 1st visit. Flash forward to a couple of weeks later and I'm getting a call from Carol that my insurance covered none of the cost. I asked how it could happen that a dental office that does billing every single day wouldn't have known that was a possibility. Carol said she couldn't know everyone's policy, I should have known. Ok, except I was assured the front desk was handling it - remember? After emailing Humana, the insurance company said the deep cleaning wasn't covered as part of the preventative policy. Great - now I'm stuck with an unexpected bill for $155 per quadrant... which, multiplied by four comes to $620. I asked Carol about a payment plan for the months of August through December, until I got back into my busy season and could afford to pay the balance in one big chunk. "Yes, but the doctor will charge you 18% interest," was her reply. Gee, thank you for (not) pretending to work with me. Ended up withdrawing funds from my Roth account to pay the $620 balance, only to be told it was now $670 because of a $50 deductible. What??? So, I got an extra charge to meet a deductible on an expense that wasn't covered to begin with? Seems like the entire bill was a deductible. Sorry, I spelled sham wrong. There was so much emphasis on getting that money that I can't help but wonder if the office is either in financial trouble, or if she's getting a commission of some kind. Zero focus on maintaining a relationship, 100% lust for money.

Dr Parkinson is probably the best dentist I've ever had! The care he provides and experience he has is unparalleled. He truly makes a genuine connection with you from the first day. Dr Parkinson is an authentic person who really cares for his patients. The staff are all happy and friendly! Sometimes going to the dentist can be stressful. Do yourself a favor and give Dr Parkinson a try! You will not be disappointed!

My entire experience exceeded expectations! The environment is calm, friendly and professional. Affordable cash prices but they don't take American express cards so plan accordingly.

Exceptional dental practice. All of the staff is wonderful. The doctor took his time when examining my teeth and was very thorough in explaining the health of my teeth. The xray technician was wonderful. The dental hygienist was excellent and my bill was very thoroughly explained to me by Carol. From start to finish the experience was everything you'd hope to experience in a dental office and then some.

Dr Parkinson and staff are very professional. I was lucky enough to have found them. During Covid shutdown I had an Emergency and Dr Parkinson personally called me. He took care of my issue and I am very great full to him/staff.

Terrible service from the front office. Dentist is great but I will be finding another just because of how the receptionist talks to you. Needs a lot of work.

At 79 years old, I have been fortunate to have Dr. Thomas Parkinson as my dentist for over the twenty-some years. His knowledge and skills are amazing. After having avery bad experience with a dentis that will go undnamed, a friend told me about Dr, Parkinson. I could nothave asked for a more professional and ethical dentist. Oh yes, he smiles, laughs, and has a great "dentist chair" manner. Emeritus Professor Michael Swygert, Stetson Univ. College of Law
