Dr. Michael Pincus received his bachelors degree in psychology from the University of Florida & is a graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center dental school in San Antonio. He is also a proud Gator. Dr. Pincus is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Dallas County Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, & the Alpha Omega Dental fraternity. He has served our community & his patients for over 30 years & has been president of, & currently sits, on the board of the Leukemia Association of North Central Texas.
Dr. Pincus is a 32nd-degree Master Mason & member of the Scottish Rite, as well as a writer, speaker,& entrepreneur. He has dedicated his career to efficient,patient-centered, & cost-effective dental-delivery systems.Dr. Pincus is an accredited member of the Association of Accredited Small Business Consultants, aiding him in the quest to make dental care & cosmetic dental care more affordable for all. His book,The 7 Stages of A Dental Practice Life Cycle, is a handbook for young dentists navigating their exciting careers.
Dr. Pincus has been married to his beautiful wife, Jeanette, since dental school. Their growing family includes their son, Scott I Pincus D.M.D, his wife Sabina, and their son. Their daughter Erica, her husband Ashton, and their son.
Dr. Scott I. Pincus graduated with the inaugural class from Plano West Senior High School & went on to achieve his bachelors degree in biology from Indiana University. Upon receiving his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from Nova Southeastern University Dental School in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, he moved home to join the family practice. He has worked in the office since the age of 14, & he developed a love for dentistry & his patients at an early age. Our patients will tell you the feeling is mutual.
Dr. Pincus is a member of the American Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry, The Texas Dental Association, & the Dallas County Dental Society. As a member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, Dr. Pincuss continuing education involves advanced techniques for TMJ/headache management, including the use of Botox. Dr. Scott is trained in the placement of mini implants for replacing teeth in those hard to reach places, and for stabilizing dentures.
Dr. Pincus is active in the community as well, serving on numerous charitable boards & religious organizations. He is a recipient of the Emerging Business Award from the Gunter, TX, Chamber of Commerce. He has sponsored field trips for the schools in Gunter, & he loves giving back to our community.
She is a graduate of the College of Notre Dame in Maryland. She received her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston. Dr. Sayek is board eligible for the American College of Prosthodontics (I, III, & IV) & received a postgraduate degrees in prosthodontics from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Prosthodontics is a dental specialty relating to the replacement of missing teeth or jaw structures with bridges, dentures, implants, or other artificial devices.
Dr. Sayek has been honored with the Harvard Dental Alumni Associations Dr. Norman B. Nesbitt Award for excellence in dentistry as well as the the Waterpik Prosthodontic Award for outstanding achievement in the study of prosthodontics.
Dr. Sayek has extensive research experience. Her papers include: University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, TX The physical characteristics of composite composed of GTE monomer & titanium nanoparticles; Harvard School of Dental Medicine Department of Prosthodontics Water sorption & solubility in denture soft relines; Harvard School of Dental Medicine Department of Restorative Dentistry Bibliometric study on retention of glass ionomer sealants; & Harvard School of Dental Medicine Clinical study on facial & body asymmetry. She has also made presentations on implantology & treatment options for the edentulous patient.
Dr. Barea completed his General Practice Residency program at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York, where he was a chief resident & was honored with the Leo M. Davidoff Society award of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine for making significant contributions to the education of students. Dr. Barea is also a Member of the American Dental Association.
After finishing his residency program, Dr. Barea moved to Dallas, Texas & joined Parkhaven Dental Care. Besides dentistry, Dr. Barea is a big sports fan, especiallyof the Dallas Mavericks. Further, the Dallas Mavericks point guard, JJ Barea, is his cousin.
Dr. Barea & his family are actively involved in helping special communities in Puerto Rico through his cousins foundation, The JJ Barea Foundation. Moreover, he also participates as an active volunteer in the Special Olympics of Puerto Rico, an organization where his father, Jose Barea, is the president.
Dr. Luke R. Klinker, an Austin native, graduated from the University of New England College of Dental Medicine in 2018 and continues his education annually to provide our patients with the latest innovative dental techniques. He is a proud member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association and the North Texas Dental Society.
Dr. Klinker has been married to his wife, Traci, since 2015, and welcomed their first child, Jackson in October of 2021. Additionally, they have two dogs named Piper and Josie. When not in the office, Dr. Klinker loves competitive go-kart racing, scuba diving, traveling, watching sports, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Sebyuk Kim was born and raised in the beautiful harbor city, Busan, South Korea. After graduating from high school, Dr. Kim moved to Louisville, KY to study at the University of Louisville where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology degree. She continued her studies at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, where she obtained the Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. After her graduation, Dr. Kim moved to Texas with her husband to start her career in dentistry.
Dr. Kim is compassionate and gentle in hopes to alleviate the initial fear of the dental visit. She is focused on building trust through thorough communication and professionalism with all her patients and their family. Dr. Kim is also passionate about enhancing patients dental experience by incorporating the latest evidence-based techniques and technology. She dedicates many hours into continued education to broaden her skills and knowledge of dentistry to offer the best solution for her patients. Dr. Kim is trained to perform treatments from all branches of dentistry in times of need, she will communicate and collaborate with other specialists provide the best treatment options and outcomes for the patients.
Outside of work, Dr. Kim enjoys golf, eating at local restaurants, traveling, and spending time with her family. She is excited to join the Parkhaven family and looks forward to meeting you and your family.

I love the entire staff!!! Dr. Pencus is amazing and entertaining!! The entire staff took great care of me...thanks to Rachel, Brandie, Kristen and Krista; you guys made me like my smile again and gave me back my confidence

Love the Plano location and immediately loved this one even more! More than likely going to make this my new location, which is ironic considering Plano is literally 15 min away and this takes about 40 minutes! Any who! The staff is so amazing. S/o to Rachel, Brandy, and Kristen for making me feel welcomed, comfortable, and making the visit quick. Dr. Pincus is always amazing and I completely trust him with my teeth. He genuinely cares for his patients/staff, which is obvious when you see how he interacts with everyone! Been coming to this family's practice for close to 10 years, if not, and I recommend them to everyone! Love that my dentist actually love and care for my teeth. 10000000/10 recommend for yourself and family!

When we moved here earlier this year I was very nervous about finding a good dentist. Dr. Jonathan Sanders and all the staff at Parkhaven Dental in Gunter have far exceeded any expectations I could have. They all go above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. We are very blessed to have them here.

I live in the Sherman area and booked an appointment with Parkhaven dental a few weeks ago. I am glad I did. Dr. Sanders and the entire staff were outstanding. If I could give more than 5 stars on this review, I would do so without hesitation. If you live in the area, give them a call. You will not be disappointed.

If I could give parkhaven dental 10 stars it wouldn't be enough. Tonight while dining on spare ribs I lost a temporary crown on my front tooth. Panic struck as it is a Friday night and they will not reopen until Monday I texted Dr. Saunders and immediately he texted back that he would meet me at the dental office even though he lives an hour away! Brandi and Rachael were incredible they left their own dinner with friends to come in and take care of me And my crown was replaced Within minutes. I will never use any other dental facility

I have been to both locations and I have seen both Dr. Pincus's, father and son. These are great dentists. Very personable and caring. I am so glad that I found this dentist. All of the work I have had done has been great and they give you their personal phone numbers in case anything happens in off hours. I would recommend this dentist to anyone.

*if you have small children please read* My 5 year old and myself went here for the first time 12.14.17. My child was nervous even for a cleaning. They made sure she was aware of what was going to happen and showed her the water and sucker "mr.thisty" and tge toothpaste. She was super comfortable. Unfortunately we found a cavity "sugar bug". The SAME day they were able to get it taken care of!! So i brought her back. They gave her laughing gas which made me nervous as shes never used it. They did phenomenal! My child wasnt scared they let her hear the noise of the tools "with no needle or anything in them" and let her feel that they wont hurt her on top of her fingernail. They were so trusting! I was SUPER IMPRESSED! The dentist was dr. Hughes. I am a forever customer and my child said " THAT WAS FUN MOMMA". I also had some work done and they were so honest, professional and kind.
