Dr. Tim Nguyen, DMD, FAGD, specializes in general, restorative and cosmetic dentistry for patients in Plano, TX and the entire North Dallas community. Dr. Nguyen and Parker West Dental Associates serve the greater North Dallas and Plano areas. After completing dental school and a residency program, Dr. Nguyen took advanced training on the latest technology and treatments associated with restorative and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Nguyen has a special interest in family, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry using advanced technology.
The abiding mission of Dr. Tim Nguyen is to provide patients with excellence in care and to partner with experienced professionals who share their unwavering high standards in patient care. Dr. Nguyen has spent a lot of time training with the advanced dental equipment at our Plano Dental Clinic, so he is able to perform laser cavity detection during dental exams, create convenient one-day crowns, and Cadent iTero for better dental restorations.

Dr. Nguyen, a Dallas native, attended Jesuit College Preparatory School in North Dallas, graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Human Biology, and then he earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Nguyen also completed additional training in anAdvanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Residency Program at Lutheran Medical Center in Flagstaff, Arizona following dental school. Dr. Nguyen has obtainedfellowship into the Academy of General Dentistry.
When working with patients, Dr. Nguyen takes the time to establish a good working relationship. His goal is that his patients are comfortable with their treatment plan, have the opportunity to ask questions, and have an understanding of the process moving forward. Dr. Nguyen believes that understanding builds trust, and trust in patients is of the utmost importance.
In his free time, Dr. Nguyen enjoys traveling both here and abroad, live music, and anything involving the water (especially water sports like paddle boarding and fishing). Dr. Nguyen is a big fan of the Kansas Jayhawks! Rock Chalk!

Fantastic! I can't believe that I didn't feel a thing. Not even the numbing shot or the numbness! It was like I just walked in and out all fixed up. Highly skilled dentistry. I have been coming here for years after 2 traumatic experiences with other dentists. I did my homework this time and found the best dental practice in Texas and maybe the whole world. Very transparent up-front pricing. Awesome staff. Even their referrals are to great doctors with similar ethics and billing practices. No surprise bills and they let you know the out-of-pocket cost before the work is done. Excellence all around!

I have been coming to Dr Bosher. and Dr Ngyun for years and this is the best dentist clinic I have ever been to. The service is spectacular. I recommend Lauri for teeth cleaning and Allison in the front is warm and welcoming. You will not regret picking this clinic!

Since Dr. Bosher retired, patient service has declined as his experienced staff left too. Dr. Nguyen, who bought the practice, is a nice guy. But the new staff has been a nightmare for scheduling and treatment. Will not be back.

Oh, Dr. Boshier. You would be heartbroken to see what has become of the amazing practice that you built. Dr. Nguyen and the hygienists are so cold and so incredibly rude. There is no calling you by your name. No hellos. No small talk. And not an iota of comfort or compassion. Just blatant coldness and condescension. They held it together for a little while after you retired, but they're not even pretending to care anymore. And not even sweet Trish can undo their callousness at this point (but she recognizes it and she does try). I wish they would change the name of the practice because there is really nothing remaining of your Parker West. After so many years as a patient there, I walked out for the last time yesterday. To anyone reading reviews in search of a new dentist, keep looking. There are too many kind, skilled dentists out there that will value you as a patient and person.

Dr Nguyen is, hands down, the best dentist I have ever been to. I moved here permanently and found him after researching like a mad woman. (My previous texas dentist wanted to drill all my teeth and did not explain things to me that made me trust him!!!) Dr. Nguyen has been great! He is available via text should an emergency arise, and their office is so clean and peaceful. Everyone who works there is five star. When I had to change my insurance plan, I stayed with Parker West even though it's not covered by my new plan. I like them THAT much. Highly recommend!

Dr. Nguyen was recommended to me by Dr. Tamara Jones, DDS, MSD of Willow Bend Orthodontics. The office is convenient to my home, the appointment scheduling process was contactless and seamless, and the staff was very welcoming upon arrival. But that's not all..... I have NEVER gone to any doctor's office where I got to meet the Dr. before the exam. This was very unique and a definite customer retainer element for me. Dr. Nguyen introduced himself and gave a high level overview of my profile, answered a few questions and thanked me for choosing his office, all before he examined me. This was proof that he reviewed my profile and had already gotten information from my Orthodontist prior to my arrival. I spent the majority of my visit with the Dental Hygienist, Laurie, who was very informative, patient and pleasant. Not to mention she did an awesome job on my first cleaning. Finally Dr. Nguyen performed my exam, provided some recommendations to begin my treatment plan, answered a few questions and I was out in no time. My first experience with Parker West Dental was great and I look forward to a long lasting relationship with them to keep my teeth healthy and my smile brighter. I recommend you give them a try if you're seeking a new dentist. Based on my experience, I don't believe you'll be regret it.

My experience was superb. My first time visiting a dental office since moving to Texas and I was beyond impressed on the service I received. The entire staff that I encountered made me feel welcome and comfortable. I have never been to a dental office and experienced the warmth that I felt. Laurie and Dr. Nguyen made me feel very comfortable when discussing my plan. I would recommend this office to anyone seeking a dental office. You will not be disappointed.

Dr. Nguyen and his staff are the absolute best. Going to the dentist is not my favorite thing however, visiting Parker West Dental Associates has changed my mind. I had the best experience! Dr. Nguyen is the greatest dentist that I've ever had. I am 30 years old and have had my fair share of dentists, and no one compares. Dr. Nguyen is extremely intelligent and patient when it comes to describing the issue and taking care of the problem. He's been so helpful in my understanding of what's wrong with my prior dental care and how to improve. Dr. Nguyen has put in 4 crowns and done about 9 cavities. In addition to receiving excellent care, I've gained proper brushing and flossing knowledge for preventative care. But it's not just him, the entire staff at Parker West Dental Associates is terrific. Dana is an amazing dental hygienist, very delicate and comforting when it comes to the scrapping. Sandi and Jana are always so nice and welcoming at the front desk, and very helpful and accommodating when it comes to insurance and paying the bills.

My experience at Parker West Dental has been by far the most superlative dental care I've received. Dr. Nguyen and all of his staff make me feel at home and at ease from the moment I walk in and throughout every appointment.
