She studied for her Undergraduate Degree in Dental Hygiene from Westbrook College, now the University of New England in Biddeford, ME. She was a Registered Dental Hygienist for nine years prior to becoming a family dentist.
Dr. Davies is dedicated to the community in which she practices. She has established a semiannual Give Back to the Community Day where Dr. Davies and her team provide treatments to residents of Newbury who are 65 and older. She offers free exams, x-rays, and prophylaxis treatments to these patients.
Dr. Davies is a certified health and life coach. She pursued this as a passion to help people find their path to health and experience what it feels like to be healthy. She has helped many lose weight and also specializes in blood sugar control for those with diabetes type II and prediabetes, along with her husband in their business Embracing Change. https://www.Embracingchange.pro She is a proud mother of two young adult boys. Outside of dentistry, she loves anything she can create. Cooking, making her own jewelry, gardening, and she's a truly incredible painter - you should check out the mural she painted on Jackie's operatory wall. She also loves being outside and doing activities such as hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, boating, bike riding and skiing.
Born and raised in Newbury, MA, she didn't venture far as she now lives in West Newbury with her husband and one of her two sons. Her other son is in the Navy, stationed at Corry Station Pensacola, Florida. She is a diehard Bruins and Patriots fan, enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, reading, and vacationing on Plum Island.
Born and raised in Amesbury, MA, Jackie and her family are very dedicated to their local roots and very active in the Amesbury community. Jackie is a proud wife and mother of two children. She loves spending time with her immediate and extended family members as well as her large group of friends. Her additional loves include summer, skiing, health & fitness, scrapbooking, traveling, dining out, breweries and going to sporting events.
Born and raisedinNorth Carolina, Val moved to Massachusetts with her immediate family in 2015.Valerie is very dedicated to both her local and North Carolina family roots. Sheloves spending time with her husband, two children,extended family members, and friends. Her additional loves include hunting, skiing, paddle boarding, traveling, and discovering all her new home of New England has to offer.
Angela grew up in Sailsbury, MA and now resides in Newbury, MA with her family. She began her career as a Dental Assistant in 2003 in Newburyport and worked there for 18 years before deciding to join our team. She has become a very valuable team member and is always looking for ways to improve her knowledge, skills, and brings ideas to the table to ensure we are providing the best possible care to our patients. She enjoys spending time with her two sons and granddaughter. Outside of work, Angela enjoys camping, cooking, crafting, and gardening.
Tina grew up in East Bridgewater, MA before moving to Newburyport in her early 20's. She now resides in Amesbury, MA with her family.She became a Dental Assistant in 2002 after many years as a travel agent. She worked in Topsfield for two years, followed by an office in Newburyport for 16 years before joining our team. She is a valuable team member who brings many years of knowledge and a spark of excitement daily. Outside of work Tina loves spending time with her Son, Fianc, Friends, Dogs and Cats. She loves to travel especially to Cape Cod, spending time enjoying her back yard, going to concerts and sporting events.
Mistie was born in Massachusetts and spent a short time in Michigan during her childhood. She now resides in Newbury, MA with her family. She began her career as a Dental Assistant in 1993 in Newburyport, after working there for 10 years she decided to take time off and raise her two young boys. In 2007 she returned to the field playing a huge role in Local Community Oral Health, before joining our team during the pandemic. She has become a valuable member to our team helping our patients with all their insurance, scheduling and financial needs. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons as well as her mom and many additional family and friends. Outside of work, Mistie enjoys spending time on their family boat, traveling and being cozy in her home.
