Dr. Josh Parker was born and raised in Baton Rouge and graduated from Central Private High School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree at LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans. While in dental school, he was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, C. Edmunds Kells Dental Honor Society, received several scholarships and awards for academic excellence, and graduated at the top of his class.
After dental school, Dr. Parker decided to further his education in the field of orthodontics to help change peoples lives by creating beautiful smiles! He completed his three-year orthodontic specialty residency and received a Master of Science degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Dr. Parker has been practicing orthodontics in Baton Rouge since 2014.
To demonstrate his desire to provide the absolute highest level of patient care, Dr. Parker has voluntarily completed hundreds of additional hours of preparation to become a Board Certified Orthodontist. Only 1 in 3 orthodontists is certified. Achieving board certification is the last step in a long and intensive educational experience to ultimately provide excellent patient care. Also, Dr. Parker volunteers his time at Childrens Hospital on the cranial facial team.
Orthodontics is more than just straightening teeth. It takes extensive knowledge of jaw growth development, facial symmetry and more to perfect a smile. Theres a reason orthodontists must go through additional years of schooling after receiving their dental degree. Board certification goes a step further, demonstrating an orthodontists passion and dedication to the field.

Dr. Parker and his team have been nothing short of FANTASTIC! At 27 years old, I finally have the smile I've always wanted!! His staff are always so kind and they definitely know what they're doing. I can also tell that they actually enjoy working together, which is nice to see as a client. I've told anyone and everyone that asks about this journey in my teeth that I love my ortho! I couldn't recommend them more! If you're thinking about starting this process for yourself or your family, do it!

Love Dr. Parker! His team is great. I came in 2 years ago and had a very messed smile with over crowding. I was told by other orthos that I needed teeth pulled but he was able to fix my smile without pulling any teeth. Amazing work. Would recommend him to anyone.

Absolutely love this orthodontic office, they are very knowledgeable and professional, Dr. Parker is great at what he does I love my new smile so much. I never had any issues with appointments payments or anything I needed from them. I had my braces on for 18 months and each time I went in I saw a big difference I'm very pleased with everything!
