Dr. Parker grew up in the Carter Community and is grateful to be able to return to his home area to provide Dental treatment to the families in this and the surrounding area. He graduated as Valedictorian of the Carter High School class of 1987. This was followed by a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology from Carson-Newman College in 1991. Afterwards, he graduated with Honors from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry (Memphis) in 1996 with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery. He was then accepted into the General Practice Residency Program at the University of Tennessee Hospital (Knoxville) which he completed in 1997.
Dr. Parker and his family reside in Strawberry Plains and are members of NorthStar Church. He and his beautiful wife Beth have four wonderful children, Ansley, Weston, Aida Rose, and Wade Honour. His family has lived in the area for generations and are proud to call East Knox County home. Dr. Parker is blessed to be able to practice alongside his brother Donald W. Parker, M.D. in the same facility off the Strawberry Plains Pike exit of I-40. His parents Bill and Carol Parker also live in the Carter Community and it is through their sacrifices that he and his brother have had the opportunity to pursue their dreams.
