James G. Drake DMD (his friends call him J.D.) attended Ricks College, Idaho State University, and received his dental degree from Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia. In addition to enjoying all procedures in general dentistry, Dr. Drake is currently focusing his research on Cosmetics and Full Mouth Rehabilitation. He uses lasers in treating cavities, gum infections, and cold sores. Dr. Drake co-founded a nationally recognized company that trains dental assistants (www.assisttosucceed.com) and has served the people of Haiti, China, and Tonga on outreach dental missions.
Dr. Drake is a grateful husband to his wife, Jennifer, and father to their three very cute children. He was born and raised on a dairy farm in eastern Idaho and you may find him horseback any chance he gets. Dr. Drake has published a book about the human need for acceptance (Thirst) Currently and is proud to serve on the Board of Alpine 4-H Horse Camp.
Dr. Jacobson was enrolled at Ricks College and Idaho State University studying Biology when he decided to be a general dentist. After finishing his Bachelors degree, he was honored to be accepted into the Idaho Dental Education Scholarship Program and graduated from Creighton Dental school in 1996. During dental school, he received awards for both academic and clinical excellence as well as being named to the Deans list. Dr. Jacobson enjoys all aspects of General Dentistry and has completed advanced training in Orthodontics, Implants, Sedation, and Cosmetic Dentistry for Adults. For more than 20 years Dr. Jacobson has donated his time as a dentist evaluator in an organization called Clinicians Report that tests the effectiveness of dental products and procedures. His research results, along with other dentists, are published in a worldwide monthly newsletter. Many patients comment on Dr. Jacobsons gentle nature and how he thoroughly explains the treatment options he recommends for them to achieve their ideal smile. Dr. Jacobson is even available to treat patients in both Park West Dental Care locations.
Dr. Jacobsons greatest accomplishment in life was marrying his college sweetheart, Melani, and raising their six children together here in Idaho Falls. He also enjoys camping, spending time with family, playing with their grandchildren, and traveling to new destinations. Dr. Jacobsons motto is to live life to its fullest in happiness and health and that is what he desires for his dental patients, friends, and family. He loves doing dentistry, getting to know his patients, and helping them be happy as well.
Dr. Ronald L. Fuller was born in Syracuse, New York. When he was ten years old he and his family moved to southern Utah where he attended Dixie High School, Dixie State University and Southern Utah University. While attending Dixie State University he met and married his wife Tina. He received his dental degree from Loyola University Chicago in 1992. Dr. Fuller has spent 21 years in the Indian Health Service, as an Officer of the United States Public Health Service, doing dentistry in South Dakota, Alaska, New Mexico, and Wisconsin. He spent nine months of long term training at the University of Washington in Seattle prior to returning to South Dakota and retiring to private practice. For the last five years he has practiced as an associate in Ainsworth, Nebraska.
His family has grown throughout his professional career. It now includes six children. One born in Utah that is married and lives in Wisconsin, two born in Illinois that are married and live in the Rexburg area, one born in South Dakota that also lives in the Rexburg area, two children born in Wisconsin a stillborn and a 15 year old daughter attending North Fremont High School in Ashton, ID where Dr. Fuller and his family now reside.
Dr. Fuller comes to Idaho to spend time with eight of his ten grandchildren and 4 of his 5 living children. His hobbies are learning to fly fish, family history, and aviation. He loves spending time with family and friends and looks forward to serving you at Park West Dental Center
Dr. Jennifer Aaberg attended the University of Wyoming to study Mathematics and Chemistry but knew she wanted to be a dentist since the age of 14. She achieved that goal with high remarks and received her dental degree from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine with honors.
Dr. Aaberg loves working with patients of all ages, and is passionate about building an individuals confidence through a healthy, beautiful smile. She also enjoys utilizing all procedures of general dentistry in order to build these beautiful smiles. Many patients remark on Dr. Aabergs thoroughness during her exams and procedures, and appreciate the time she takes to explain their comprehensive treatment.

Every time I go here I feel judged. Today was the last straw... Poor people are people too... I have ADHD and other things that make it hard for me to remember to get to the dentist or the doctor regularly... Snide comments about it is unprofessional. I cried all the way to another dentist. These people listend and we're really kind. Be better

Dr. Aaberg is simply the BEST dentist I have ever went to. She treats you like a person. I have went to dentists in the past that made me feel like less of a human because of the condition of my teeth. Dr. Aaberg never did. She helped me achieve a gorgeous smile. Beware!! Dr. Jacobson should not be doing root canals. He is not qualified to do them and should be referring patients to a Endodontist instead of being greedy. My husband has had 4 root canals redone by a specialist due to Jacobson's poor workmanship. They were all not completed and decay was left behind.

I have been to a few dentist in the area trying to find the perfect one for me. This place is by far the best one in town. The staff here is amazing! The dentists, hygienists and the billing team are all friendly and make you feel welcome. I highly recommend this dentist office.

Nice people im sure but not only did the receptionist put in my wife's information down incorrectly so we couldn't sign in to input her info, but she also scheduled my appointment for a different time than I requested, I was then told that I'd have to wait until April for any appointments at the time I needed. The most she gave me was "yeaaaahhhh, that sucks... sorry..." I'd have loved to have gone here due to the great reviews but unfortunately I can't if they can't schedule the correct time. Now I have to miss work to be able to schedule an appointment sometime this month.

Dr. Drake and the office were able to get me in on short notice for an emergency procedure and get me back to my vacation within an hour. The office itself is beautiful, clean, and welcoming, the staff was warm and funny and listened to concerns. I absolutely recommend this office and team to anyone looking for relief or also routine work! I will absolutely be returning when we move to town. THANK YOU!

This is the best dentist I've ever been to. Liliana Gonzalez is the best dental hygienist I've ever had. She keeps notes and remembers specific details about what you want.

The denturist was extremely rude and refused to fix the dentures he made after several trips back and forth from Rigby the dentures were ill fitting and made sores in my mouth. He said I would have to get used it and use salt water rinses I had to get a new set made Do not waste your money. I can't wear them

The office is well-organized and very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. Lily did a wonderful job with my cleaning and she is very knowledgeable. I had to have two fillings and Dr. Drake did a wonderful job. I appreciate his attention to detail and quality of work.

Going to the dentist always gives me anxiety. I saw the hygienist lily and she was very careful and gentle with me. She did a great job explaining how to further take care of my teeth. Dr drake did my exam and I explained to him the bad experience I previously had with my last dentist. My bite was still off from before, he did a minor adjustment and fixed my problem! I felt listened to and cared for. I highly recommend park west!

Very impressed with the staff at Park West. I get very nervous when having to go to the dentist but they were all very patient and understanding with me. Dr. Drake did a wonderful job explaining everything that was going on and walked me through everything before starting anything. I am so thankful to have found such a wonderful dentist office here!!

Was very happy with the service and quality of help I needed. Went in for an emergency tooth problem and found out I need a Root Canal, The Dr. Was quick and easy with it that I actually slept through the whole Root Canal.

I had tooth pain for a couple days. We're visiting for the summer and so I had to choose a dentist to look at my tooth. I based my choice on the google reviews. I am so grateful to those who reviewed this practice. Dr. Jacobson was very patient and skilled and took almost 2 hours to care for me, I have a bad infection and had to have a root canal. If I lived in Idaho Fall, this would be my dentist office. Payment options were offered, insurance was filed, I was only charged the balance of the bill my insurance didn't cover. No surprises. Highly recommend this practice.

I went in for some work on me teeth. They new my insurance plan because they had to look it up when they did my husband and my cleaning. When I was getting a root canal they asked if I wanted to do the crown at the same time I said it depended on how much it would be. He went back and came back out and said about $700. I said okay perfect let's do it all today. A month later I get a bill for $2000. From that appointment. I called and asked about it they said they would call me back and I never got a call. I called 3 week later after I got another bill for $2000 and the girl on the phone was walking me around in circles. I told her I've already contacted insurance I've already been threw all that then she tells me that they didn't know my plan and maybe that's why. I told her that she had already looked it up when we had the cleanings shortly before the other work. I'm switching dentist. They knew what they were doing. Going from $700 to $2000 is not okay and it is not what was agreed upon when I had the work done. Would never go back and wouldn't recommend anyone here.

I have had the opportunity to have been treated by several dentists here in Idaho falls and a number of dentists back east. Dr. Jacobson has put together a team that I have not found before and frankly didn't think existed. Very professional. Courteous. They give you all the time you need to ask questions or share concerns. Dr. Jacobson is one heck of a dentist. Now, many dentists are, but he has passion. And that I think is the difference. Easy to talk with, he truly has your care and health priority one. State of the art equipment sure gives one peace of mind. I hand approximately 8 teeth pulled and elected for the sedation. Best choice I ever made! Before I knew it, I was on my way home! Never felt a thing. Thanks Dr. Jacobson. Thanks for all your studies, keeping up on the latest technology that ultimately makes for a relaxing dental experience for me and others.

Made appointment for 89 year old mother to fix tooth and get teeth cleaned while she was there. They cleaned teeth but would not fix tooth because they want 1/2 down before they will schedule it... did not say that when I scheduled the appointment.... so even when you are going to pay in full they won't fix you tooth. THIS IS HORRIBLE SERVICE. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! After the Owner Responce... paid 100% and said i would pay 100% when done... they would NOT schedule unless 50% paid days before you were going to do anything... My guess you hope people can't make it and you can keep the money without any service. Shameful!
