Dr. Cooper Mitchell attended the University of Idaho, where he graduated at the top of his class and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biological systems engineering. He then received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Minnesota and completed a year of advanced training at the AEGD residency program at Idaho State University. In 2017, Dr. Mitchell demonstrated his commitment to continuing education and clinical improvement by becoming a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), an achievement that only about 7 percent of dentists achieve.

Dentistry has been in the Mitchell family since 1926. Dr. Mitchell is a third-generation dentist. He grew up in Helena and is a graduate of Capital High School. His father was the dental chief at the V.A. Hospital at Fort Harrison for 36 years, and his grandfather practiced dentistry in Kansas for 48 years.
Kayla is a Helena native who joined our Park View team in February of 2020. She has three years of previous dental experience and is excited to expand her knowledge of dentistry with the wonderful Park View team! When she is not in the office, Kayla enjoys spending time with her three little boys, hiking, camping and anything outdoors.
Sarah originally hails from Portland, Oregon. While growing up, she spent her summers with her family in Helena and eventually moved here in August of 2015. Sarah began working for Park View Dental in February of 2016. Prior to that, she worked in an assisted living facility as a caregiver / medication aid. Sarah enjoys the outdoors, especially hiking and backpacking. She has even gone skydiving! But when she is not out adventuring, she can be found spending time with her cat, Lucy. We can always count on Sarah to provide positive energy around the office with her contagious laughter and heartwarming smile.
Dani was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. She attended Oregon Tech, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene. Since moving to Montana, Dani has fallen in love with the outdoors, whether it is hiking, rafting, golfing or spending time with friends and family. She is very excited to be a part of the Park View Dental team, where she believes she can positively impact our patients and their smiles.
Shelly has worked in the dental field since 1987. She has served in both the clinical and administrative aspects of the industry, which includes experience as a dental assistant, office manager and a business coordinator. One of Shellys favorite aspects of working in the dental field is getting to witness the transformation of patients smiles. She loves to see how it affects their self-confidence, health and overall demeanor. Shelly feels very fortunate to be a part of the Park View Dental team. She is looking forward to making it her dental home until retirement. When she is not in the office, Shelly enjoys spending time with family and friends. She keeps busy with three children and seven rambunctious grandchildren. Shelly is very thankful that they all reside locally in the Helena area.

Called several times to schedule an appointment, no one ever answered his phone. Filled out appointment request form, received an email that it was accepted and that someone would be contacting me. No one ever called me back. I don't see why anyone would want to go to a dentist office that you cant even get someone on the phone or get a call back.

Got me in ASAP as I was in serious pain. My dentist of 15 years blew me off and set an appointment for 3 weeks out. Park View is my new, permanent dentist.

Had my first appointment at Park View Dental today and it was fantastic! Shelly was incredibly friendly and efficient in setting up the appointments and getting us established as patients. I thought that our dentist in Colorado was the gold standard as far as technology and office atmosphere goes until I came here. Kayla took images that I had never had done before with ease. She's really good at what she does. Dr. Mitchell met with me for a long time looking over the imaging, explaining his thoughts in detail and presenting a plan moving forward. I'd give them a 10 out of 10. Highly recommend!

Friendly and informative staff. I appreciate being kept in the loop when it comes to my care. Dr. Mitchell explained everything thoroughly to me as a human instead of lingo you can't understand and then charging up the wa-zoo for it. Love the opportunity to have options when it comes to my dental anxiety along with creating a game plan for future and preventative care. Thank you!
