Our team has a holistic approach to oral health which focuses on prevention and overall health, not only treatment. Preventive dentistry is particularly important for children, whose teeth, mouth and gums are still developing. Preventing abnormal growth and cavities in children is easier, more painless and less costly than treating dental problems after theyve fully developed. More importantly, having a healthy mouth helps children maintain better nutrition, self-esteem and overall health. We look at the whole picture of your childs oral and physical health. Our preventive pediatric dental care helps prevent or provide early treatment for infant cavities, baby tooth decay and abnormal growth such as uneven spacing, misalignment and ectopic eruption.

Our mission is to help empower clinicians and their teams to provide the best possible care for the communities they serve. We are continuously working to improve our patient centered approaches that are grounded in provision of optimal cost effective care that is both innovative and socially entrepreneurial

Our Practice Management Group is a socially entrepreneurial business that utilizes the design thinking approach and works with private, public and academic partners and affiliates to help create the best possible health care experience and outcomes for every child and family served. Our current focus is on to expand our social entrepreneurial model in pediatric dental and orthodontic services to allow cross-subsidization of services by creating brands that deliver to various socioeconomic market sectors.

Meet our team of changemakers. We all work together to assure that all that is possible is done to help every child have an empowering experience during their dental visit. Our goal is not only to improves a childs oral health but also just as importantly, to help boost every childs confidence that we are so privileged to care for. To achieve this we train all of our team members to be knowledgeable and sensitive to the unique needs of childrens oral health issues. Our team of Drs have a wide range of experience in treating children and adolescents dental needs. In addition to our many board-certified pediatric dentists, we also have Drs who have additional training and experience in adolescent dentistry, dental oncology, oral surgery, laser dentistry, I.V. sedation and orthodontics. All of our Drs, dental hygienists and assistants are required to continuously go through our quality improvement, assurance, and control program to assure every child is receiving the best dental care possible that is unique to the childs development needs. Through our affiliation with Mount Sinai Health System and the Pediatric Dental Residency Program at the Icahn School of Medicine, we can assure that every child is appropriately attended to irrespective of the complex nature of their dental and medical needs.

Came in to get a crown on my son's tooth. It wasn't covered so we paid out of pocket. About a week later the crown came out and my son's life was in jeopardy because he could've choked on it. We brought him back to expecting this to be a courtesy replacement and surprisedly after the work is done they want to bill us for it. TOTALLY NOT OK. We will not be back and we will possibly pursue legal action. There's now reassurance we'll get good safe work done and then they don't even have the courtesy to cover their mistake.

Staff is amazing and welcoming, Jose at the front desk was very helpful while finding an appointment that suited us and confirming everything related to our insurance. The dental hygienist did a magnificent job. Dr. Nasseh is on another level! Made my child feel so comfortable and as if he was the only patient there. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

My experience 2 hours ago: If the leader is horrible and unprofessional, this affects the team's efforts. The hygienist is very professional and makes kids feel comfortable. Sadly, the dentist, Dr. Nasseh, is overtly racist and has some implicit bias that she needs to work on (my opinion). I wish them the best, but if you are a minority, steer clear of this place. She never introduced herself when she came in, but that's not an issue. The door was left opened in the room next to us; I listened and watched how her demeanor and overall professionalism was completely different with a Caucasian patient. Further, one could tell she was uncomfortable while cleaning my daughter's teeth, and stopped to ask if I was angry when I was just standing there quietly watching her work, looking at them with a mask ON. Yes, the difference in her demeanor bothered me, but I said absolutely nothing to her. And then she escalated the whole situation when I asked the hygienist to change his gloves after just cleaning up from another patient in a different room. I was so uncomfortable and disheartened that my children had to witness this in 2022, I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Talk about stereotyping! UPDATE:The fact that someone took the time to come on here and defend the actions of that doctor says a lot. Everytime someone posts a 1 star review they quickly attack the person, look closely. And falsely claiming I was disrespectful in any way or threatened any staff members is a LIE. CAMERAS, if any, can prove. If any thing, I was verbally abused because I said nothing but ask the guy to change his gloves, which he had no issue with--again, very professional guy; the dentist was the one who stopped what she was doing and made an entire issue of the thing. My eyes were wide opened because it was very surprising to see a healthcare professional react in such a manner since I work as a medical assistant. Everything was going well with the appointment up until that point when she felt she had to stop providing care to the minor since she felt bothered by my so called angry face and me asking the guy to change his gloves. That says a lot about her as a person. Like I said to her, had I looked differently, she would not have attacked me like that and would have acted in a more professional and calm manner, or even ignore what I asked the guy. I dont know if it was just her mood that day, but this lady was hostile towards me. I stand by MY review and MY opinion. Don't try to get away with LYING about what actually transpired or to discredit me! Re-train this lady on ethics in Healthcare please!!!

My daughter has been going to Park Slope Pediatric Dental for 9 years now and they are excellent. During the beginning of the pandemic when everything closed down, my daughter developed an infection from a tooth that had been hit severely. Dr. Nasseh was able to talk to me by phone, text and exchange photos for her care. She sent prescriptions to the pharmacy for antibiotics until they were able to accept emergency patients again. That is the type of care you want. Doctors and staff, like Jose Taveras that treat you like family.

WE WERE (!) VERY POSITIVE ABOUT THIS PLACE, UNTIL - ONE DAY BEFORE OUR BI-ANNUAL CHECK-UP - WE SUDDENLY GOT THE NOTICE THAT THEY DON'T TAKE OUR INSURANCE ANY LONGER. REALLY? MAKING MORE MONEY IS MORE IMPORTANT TO THE DENTIST? FINDING A NEW DENTIST LIKELY WON'T HAPPEN BEFORE SCHOOL STARTS (I made this apt WELL in advance to make sure she wouldn't miss school AND to be on time for her 6 months check-up) SO THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR HAVING OUR 4 YO UNNECESSARILY MISSING SCHOOL NOW. BAD SERVICE. Little Tooth Dentist on 55 Greene Street in Brooklyn could squeeze us in - on the weekend !! so no missing school! - when I explained what happened (all other dentists I tried didn't have a spot for us until at least three months later > would be too late.)

By far the best dentist I've ever been to. Jose was amazing and helpful scheduling an appointment the very next day. Dr. Nasseh was amazing. She was caring and good at what she does. She really restored the faith for me and my child. I'm so happy I made the decision to take my kid here, highest recommendation for kids. Thank you.

They are the worst!! They charged my insurance for services they didn't/ couldn't do. They are a "child" dentist and couldn't service the child. The place is super small. No space and no privacy. Feels like the children are sharing a room. They are rude, unprofessional and unpleasant. I requested a specific Dr and got someone that didn't know what she was doing. Absolutely insane!

We had been to three other dentist for our 4 year old daughter's teeth problems and none of them had been able to treat her. The last two had recommended putting her to sleep and we were very reluctant to do this. Thanks to our neighbor who recommended Dr. Nasseh. She was very gentle and understanding of our concerns and offered to treat our daughter using newer approaches that we were not offered elsewhere. We started with just quick visits using the special cavity busting medicine she introduced to us that was very easy to apply. They even gave may daughter an anti cavity lollipop with xylitol after each treatment. Dr. Nasseh and her hygienist Tareq were also great in helping us better plan brushing and diet habits. She finally completed her last treatment of her cavities last week and was able to sit for four cavities and two crowns using Dr. Nasseh's special spacer technique that does not require any drilling!!! Our daughter is now so proud of her smile. She also had gained so much confidence at the dentists office. It has taken about a year to finish her treatment this way and Jose who works at the front desk has been super helpful in always fitting us in. We now just go for check ups and my daughter looks forward to going to the dentist. We feel so fortunate for having found Dr. Nasseh and her team.

Incredible and amazing kids dental office. My three years old doughter loves her dentist. At her first dental appointment they explained what are their tools, and they allow little patients to touch and see that the tools are not harmless, rather they have special job to perform.

I'm so happy to have found this super cute and child friendly office for our three year and four year old daughters. We unfortunately got them a little late and found out they both had cavities. It was their first dental visit! Who knew you are supposed to take them starting at age one!!!! Dr. Nasseh was super friendly and confident and offered to treat the cavities with the special medicine that zaps the cavities. We were not sure at first and actually went for a second opinion; the other dentist offered to put both our kids to sleep for their cavities!!! We were back with Dr. Nasseh and she was able to treat everything along with her super friendly staff. Both the hygienists were also great at help calm the kids. Both our daughters are cavity free now and look forward to their check ups!
