They're friendly. But that's the most positive thing I can say for them. They call themselves 'family dentistry' but they only have one dentist on staff who sees children -- and he's not in the same dental insurance network as the rest of the practice. I specifically asked about insurance when I made our first appointment (we wouldn't have gone otherwise) and they clearly didn't look into it detail - I only learned the pediatric dentist was out of network when they sent the first bill. Because they're not in network I asked for an estimate for a more expensive procedure for my son. They said they'd get back to me with details and then didn't -- and had no record of me calling to inquire. We're going back to our other dentist. I can't recommend these people at all -- too much hassle.

My first visit and it won't be my last. I was referred by a friend who's been coming here with her family for years. I called and was luckily able to get in last minute as well as my partner. Phenomenal service, friendly office and really pleasant experience. Im a teeth freak and very particular and they met all of my expectations.

I visited Dr. Andrew Warshaw on December 18, 2021. I was having strong pain in my upper left gum. My dentist had just retired, but I had used Dr. Warshaw many years back. I called him on the 17th and he was able to slot me in on the very next day. I was concerned about the pain in my gum fearing that I had the beginning of some serious gum problem. On the way to his office, my wife suggested that I might have herpes. I thought that it might have been a canker sore or a burn akin to what sometimes happens when you have pizza. Dr, Warshaw examined me, took X-rays and a photograph of my upper palate. He said that he thought that I had shingles. He said that the giveaway was that the sores were on one side of the mouth and they were configured similarly to the pattern that shingles has. I was astounded. I never thought that shingles was the cause of the pain. Dr. Warshaw said that he had seen shingles of the mouth rarely, possibly 4 times in his practice. He gave me a prescription for an anti-viral which is only effective for the first few days of shingles. His diagnosis was quite amazing. My previous dentist had never encountered shingles of the mouth. The neurologist I went to see had never seen shingles of the palate before. I have just finished the dosage of the anti-viral drug but feel grateful that there is a good possibility that the medication was taken on the sooner side because of the astute diagnosis of Dr. Warshaw.

i HAD THE MOST POSITIVE, AND PAINLESS DENTAL VISIT AT THIS OFFICE. EVERY ONE THAT WORKS AT THIS OFFICE WERE POLITE AND COURTESOUS WITH ME. THE OFFICE IS SO CLEAN AND METICULOUS . IF YOU HAVE THE NEED FOR A DENTIST - YOU MUST CALL.

I swear, every family in Park Slope knows Dr. Warshaw, his wife and colleague, and his friendly, efficient and super skilled crew. As a man with bad teeth genes, I have been a 'frequent flyer' at their office and have arrived in all kinds of conditions ranging from a simple cleaning to hysteria over broken teeth. They have always accommodated me, calmed me, put me back together again and sent me off smiling. Debra, office manager, has especially worked with me on billing and recommended my current insurance. Toniann, always finds time to schedule me in and accommodate my often wonky work schedule. My son and daughter in law, both dentistry skeptics, rave about their treatment at PSFD. The office staff are all very proactive and knowledge about dental hygiene and I consistently feel cared for and about. Honestly, like 'family' to me.

I highly recommend Park Slope Family Dentistry to anyone who wants incredible professional and sensitive care. My husband has extensive dental work and Dr. Warshaw is always meticulous and patient. My sons started as Dr. Pollack's patients and now are under the wonderful care of Dr. Warshaw, Dr. Rosenwein and dental hygienists. Everyone in this office is friendly, competent and efficient. Tonieann and Debra always welcome you with a smile. Debra is extremely helpful. She has answers to your questions or will find them if she doesn't.
