Dr. Eric Halejian earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore. He then completed his General Practice Residency at St. Josephs Hospital in Paterson, NJ, where he received advanced training in all specialties of dentistry at a level two trauma center. He is also a certified Invisalign provider.
His passion for dentistry began when he was in high school, when he says his mom convinced him to get braces. According to Dr. Halejian, taking care of his metal-clad mouth gradually became less of a chore and introduced him to the benefits of excellent oral hygiene. This experience inspired him to shadow his hometown dentist and later apply to dental school.
When deciding where to work after his residency, Dr. Halejian says New York City was at the top of his list because of the diverse need for dental care and the fact that he would be close to his family and friends. Dr. Halejian is excited to bring his passion for dentistry to Park Slope Dentistry Seventh Avenue.
