Brenner Dental of Park Slope is a family practice that has served Park Slope, Brooklyn and its surrounding neighborhoods for over 50 years. First started in 1950 by Dr. Melvin Brenner and joined in 1979 by his son Dr. Leonard Brenner this practice is known not only for its clinical excellence but for the personal attention given to each patient.
Along with treating each person as an individual, Dr. Leonard Brenner continues to provide each person with the high quality of dental care Brenner Dental of Park Slope is known for. Both the high quality clinical experience and the personal relationship this practice is known for keeps generations of families coming to Dr. Brenner.
Dr. Leonard Brenner is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, and has been practicing dentistry for over thirty years. He delivers his procedures with the highest-quality care under a strict goal of total patient satisfaction.
Our dental hygienist graduated New York University College with a dental hygiene degree (RDH). She joined our team in 2002. She has an amazing positive and entertaining personality that our patients love. Her compassion and broad knowledge of dentistry along with her desire to help others is most noticeable. Her ability to educate patients about their oral health care without lecturing makes her a wonderful addition to our staff. Another of the many reasons why she is working with Dr. Brenner and his team is that she is able to make dentistry a fun experience for patients and the entire staff.
I started my career in dentistry as a dental assistant and then studied dental hygiene at the New York University College of Dentistry. I take pride in delivering top level dental care to the people I serve, and I support them in maintaining good health. I am dedicated to dental health and enjoy working with people. My spare time is spent with my family, enjoying the outdoors and traveling.

We have been seeing Dr. Brenner as a family since he moved to Park Slope. He is one of the most personable and competent medical professionals we have met. We are particularly grateful to him, especially when he addressed an emergency during the early Covid outbreak in early 2020. He and his staff make every visit pleasant.

I rarely write reviews but I feel like I should for Dr. Brenner. He's the freakin best. He treats his patients like family - really gets to know them and their dental hygiene habits. He's gentle, yet efficient. Had a cavity filled and felt no pain or discomfort at all. He is very social, and will certainly start a conversation with you but I think that helps his patients achieve a certain level of comfort with him. Highly recommend.

I can't say enough about Dr. Brenner and Claire and the whole team there. They've become family to me. I've moved out of New York but I drive two hours to have my check ups and treatment. I have complete trust in them and enormous gratitude for them!

I needed emergency dental work, and Dr. Brenner, with surgeon Dr. Sarica, took care of me the same day! This dental office is amazing, and I had no idea it was only a couple of blocks away from me. Dr. Brenner, Dr. Sarica, and all staff at the office were warm, friendly, and helpful, and went out of their way to check on me the next morning. Although I'm about to move to an address some distance away, I hope to remain a patient with their dental practice for years to come.

I have been coming to this office for a very long time. Even though I no longer live in Brooklyn, I continue to go to Park Slope for my dental care because Dr. Brenner and his staff are outstanding. The care is excellent, everyone is friendly, and they genuinely make the patient's comfort a priority. Whether I'm going for a cleaning or for a procedure, I never feel the slightest bit nervous about making a trip to Dr. Brenner's office.
