Dr. Young Park, DDS, FAGD, FICOI Since graduating fromLoma Linda University School of Dentistry, Dr. Park has been practicing in Roanoke, VA. Prior to his decision to become a dentist, he was a mechanical engineer at Samsung Electronics for several years. As mechanical engineering and dentistry have many common aspects, his mechanical engineering background has enabled Dr. Park to meet daily challenges in dentistry with uniquely integrated and creative approaches. Dr. Park finds great satisfaction and enjoyment in providing excellent care for his patients in all areas of general dentistry and is dedicated to continually learning new techniques in dentistry for his patients' benefit. In furtherance of this goal, Dr. Park has invested in excess of 150 hours yearly in continuing education. As a result of his tenacious pursuit of knowledge and cutting-edge techniques, Dr. Park is better able to provide a customized state-of-the-art treatment for each of his patients. Currently, Dr. Park holds active memberships within theAmerican Dental Association(ADA), the VirginiaDental Association(VDA), the Piedmont Dental Society, American Academy of General Dentistry (AGD),International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), Dr. Park is a fellow of the American Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) that has been recognized by other general dentists as a leader and exemplifies to other dentists the importance of quality continuing dental education. This fellowship can be awarded to dentists who have completed over 500 hours of continuing education and have passed the fellowship exam by the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Parkis also a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI) and takes many different types of courses to be updated in implant dentistry. Dr. Park resides in Botetourt County with his wife, Sun, and two kids, Lynn and Ian. Amanda , Office Manager Amanda has 12 years of experience working at the front desk in the dental field. She enjoys building relationships with our patients so that she can help them understand and maximize their benefits as much as possible, and to see how happy they are after the treatment received. Cindy , RDH Cindy has lived in the Roanoke Valley for 20 years. She received her Associates in Applied Sciences in Dental Hygiene from Virginia Western Community College in 2006. Growing up, she knew she wanted to practice dental hygiene after watching her mother work as a dental assistant. She currently resides in Roanoke County with her husband and two boys. In her spare time, she enjoys being with her family and friends, reading, baking, photography, working on home projects, and volunteering at her son's elementary school.Cindy has lived in the Roanoke Valley for 20 years.
