In 1972, Dr. Greg Swenson and Dr. Bud Murn saw a need for consistent, high quality, affordable dental care in their community. With their vision to put patients first, they formed one of the first group practices in Minnesota.

Our doctors and clinical staff are committed to delivering the highest quality of care to every patient. Each team member strives to make your experience at Park Dental the best dental experience youve ever had.

With dozens of convenient and locally owned locations throughout the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota, there are plenty of reasons to choose Park Dental. Our history of providing personalized, quality care is unrivaled in the Twin Cities, and we treat each patient as a valuable part of the Park Dental family.

Whether youve moved to a new area, are looking to change your dental provider or just need a second opinion, we have a qualified dentist close by to provide the care you need. There are many reasons our patients choose Park Dental. Here are the main reasons they keep coming back:

Park Dental has experienced doctors and team members who do whats right for our patients. Many of us have invested our entire careers at Park Dental. We look forward to a bright future caring for your dental needs.

Our rigorous credentialing program ensures that each doctor, dental hygienist and dental assistant is properly licensed. Our clinical excellence and quality assurance standards put our patients at ease so they can focus on getting to know their doctor and team members without worrying about the quality of care.

Park Dental doctors and team members stay up-to-date with the latest procedures and technology. Some teach at the University of Minnesota Dental School and other community and technical colleges. We also serve on dental advisory boards and participate in professional dental associations.

Whatever your dental needs, we provide the individualized care you need to enjoy a lifetime of oral health. Regular visits to your dentist are one of the best ways to prevent cavities and gum disease, and the American Dental Association recommends you see a dentist at least once a year. For optimal dental health, most of our patients visit every 6 months according to their personalized care plan.

We understand that todays dental care is better than yesterdays. Thats why we are always pursuing the latest and most effective dental technology. Our practices invest in state-of-the-art technology to ensure you will always get the best dental care available.

One benefit of our group practice is convenience and flexibility. Some family members can visit a location near home or school and a parent can choose a location near work. We make it easy for you to get the care you need, when and where you need it.

On your first visit, we ask you to complete an online new patient registration form. If youve seen a dentist in the past, we can help to facilitate the transfer of your dental records and radiographs (X-rays).

Park Dental accepts most dental insurance plans and has a wide range of payment options including cash, check, debit card and credit card. We also offer convenient payment options through Wells Fargo so you dont have to worry about how you are going to afford your treatment.

Park Dental was founded on the principle of making communities better through accessible dental care, and we remain committed to promoting the importance of dental health throughout our communities. Our core purpose is to improve peoples lives as a leader in oral health.

Participating in the community is part of who we are. Our involvement includes Give Kids a Smile, Minnesota Mission of Mercy, the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association Tour de Cure, health fairs, community events, parades, neighborhood festivals, providing learning resources, volunteering, teaching about good dental hygiene at local schools and daycare centers, and much more.

Even after 45 years, we continue to work to refine our practices so youll receive the best dental care possible. Thats why individuals and families throughout the Twin Cities, greater Minnesota and western Wisconsin have trusted Park Dental with their care for the past five decades.

Every doctor and team member is fully credentialed and licensed (as the position requires), reviewed by peers and continually learning and improving. Our quality assurance standards build confidence with our patients so they can continue to trust our dental care and services.

As a dental group, we provide on-going opportunities for mentoring, constructive feedback and professional development at every level: doctors, dental hygienists, dental assistants, scheduling managers and practice managers. Every Park Dental doctor participates in our peer evaluation and mentoring program to help ensure each patient receives necessary and appropriate care. Mentoring is a positive experience at Park Dental because the focus is on learning and growing in our profession to benefit our patients.

We promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning. Park Dental doctors invest resources and time to provide continuing education for themselves and their teams. We customize our training and development programs so we can better meet the specific needs of our patients. Being a group practice allows us to pool our resources. For example, we are able to bring in local and national experts to conduct seminars and training for our doctors and team members.

Our commitment is to provide learning opportunities for professional and personal growth so that everyone acquires new skills that enhance our ability to meet patients needs. A high-quality continuing education program benefits our patients because the more we know, the better we can care for your needs.

Each doctor receives routine reviews by other Park Dental dentists. These reviews evaluate appropriateness of care and proper patient record documentation. Doctors and team members also receive one-on-one feedback as a part of our ongoing peer review and quality assurance processes.

Park Dentals partnership with specialty dental providers, such as The Dental Specialists, allows us to meet most dental needs you or your family may have throughout your lifetime. We provide all general dentistry services and refer patients to a specialists when advanced care is required.

Our close working relationship with these specialty doctors helps us to provide dental care that is seamless and consistent. Collaboration also provides educational opportunities and professional growth as we work together on behalf of our patients needs.

Our facilities are professionally designed and appointed to allow each location to promote clinical excellence and patient comfort. The environment of our practices is calm and professional, enhanced by natural light, color and art.

Park Dental supports and participates in The Dental Practice-Based Research Network (DPBRN) whose mission is To improve oral health by conducting dental practice-based research and by serving dental professionals through education and collegiality.

The Dental Practice-Based Research Network (DPBRN) is a consortium of participating practices and dental organizations committed to advancing knowledge of dental practice and ways to improve it. Essentially, it is practical science done about, in and for the benefit of real world daily clinical practice. DPBRNs major source of funding is the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR), part of the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH).

When you visit a Park Dental location, you will receive quality care that is necessary and appropriate the right care for you. Our approach to patient-centered care is exemplified by our S-E-R-V-I-C-E:

Our approach to dental care begins with a thorough, comprehensive examination. We recommend a treatment plan to meet your individual needs and discuss how to approach that treatment, keeping you at the center of the decision-making process.

Our patients often request elective services like teeth whitening, veneers and composite (white) fillings. We work with you to produce the desired results because we want you to look good and feel good about your smile.

At every Park Dental location you will receive quality care from well-trained doctors and team members. Our quality assurance and peer review programs help ensure high standards of care are upheld. Our facilities and processes meet or exceed state and federal standards.

At Park Dental, doctors inspire each other every day. Doctors learn from those more experienced, and doctors who have practiced for years renew their passion for learning through interactions with newer doctors.

We get great results because our doctors and team members listen to their patients and encourage each other to contribute their unique perspective and abilities. We make decisions by asking one question: Whats best for the patient?

We believe the best value we can provide any patient is dental health for a lifetime. Were here for you when you need us. We provide our patients a full range of dental services, including emergency care, at convenient locations with extended hours.

Park Dental strives to be a good neighbor to our communities. We participate in Give Kids a Smile, Minnesota Mission of Mercy, American Heart Association Start! Heart Walk, American Diabetes Association Diabetes Expo, health fair and community events. We also provide learning resources, volunteer and teach good dental hygiene at local schools and daycare centers.

All doctors and team members are fully credentialed according to the requirements for their position and participate in continuing education throughout their careers. At Park Dental, you can be confident you will receive care from highly educated, well-trained professionals.

I have been a patient at this clinic for around 10 years at least. Every year I purchase a plan in which I receive 2 cleanings and an XRAY. my last attempt to get an appointment I was told that I was not able to get an appointment sooner than around 5 months out, so I scheduled at the next closet office for about 2 months out. MY WIFE (not the patient) received an email canceling my appointment 2 days prior.(not even enough professionality to give me, the patient a call (I wouldn't have even known) I planned a trip around this appointment btw. when I called to find out why this clinic is acting in such an absurd manor, I was met with condescension and clearly incompetent customer service. I was told that the remaining balance of my prepaid dental plan would not be honored, and someone would call me tomorrow to explain why. This is such a slap in the face, I hope someone who knows the ABC's of customer service is going to take care of this. Stillwater and Woodbury clinics, big fail guys. A reminder that I have never written a bad review ever. Quite an accomplishment.

Worst experience I've ever had at the dentist. She seemed like she was in a bad mood and I honestly felt like she was actually trying to damage my teeth, pushing so hard with the explorer that my neck hurt from trying to keep my head still even after I asked her to stop. I haven't had tooth pain in at least 15 years, and nine days after my "checkup and cleaning" three of my teeth still hurt.

I had an appointment here for over 3 months and just got a phone call that they are no longer accepting my insurance and just canceled my appointment! There's a reason there rating is so low, terrible customer service!

I had an appointment today at 9 AM. Yesterday I received several calls from this office confirming registration email paperwork and making sure that I got my previous dental x-rays from my old dentist for my appointment today. When I arrive 10 minutes early to my appointment as they instructed the woman working upfront said she couldn't find my Appointment and told me there was a few other dentists in the area. I looked at my phone and confirmed the phone number and the email was definitely from Park dental radio Drive. As she looked further into her system she discovered that I had a bill in collections from 2012 and that they couldn't see me. She also included that they tried to call me several times and even left several messages confirming this information. After I got off the phone with Park dental yesterday for registration I didn't receivr any other phone calls Or messages after these interactions over the phone. I was told they called and left messages to let me know they couldn't see me. Not true. I have zero voicemails and I've included a photo of that . The lack of professionalism and no problem solving skills just blew me away. The woman wouldn't give me any information on where I could pay this bill she just kept saying that they already told me they couldn't see me. Then when I asked to speak with somebody else she said the same thing and I had to literally beg her to give me the number to where I can pay this. Where's the customer service? Just because somebody's in collections doesn't mean they deserve to be treated like this. I pay my bills and had I known this was delinquent I would've resolved it before I came in. None of that was discussed or left on my voice messages like they confirmed. I felt completely judged and disrespected. This could've easily been resolved if they would've just had the information to give me in the first place. Look in your records before you waste peoples time and then to be disrespectful on top of it. Really unprofessional.

Can't even tell you how disappointed I am by the lack of compassion and follow through from this dentist. We had been going here for about a year when my 13 year old fell and fractured his two front teeth. Initially they were able to get us into another location to meet with someone on a sunday, but after that the care fell apart. They scheduled us for an appointment two weeks later with an endodontist for a root canal, despite the fact my son was in quite a bit of pain and that was a long time to wait. After we finally did have the root canal, we could not even get a call back from them to figure out next steps. They left a 13 year old with half his front teeth in a bunch of pain and uncertainty and didnt even care enough to return multiple calls. Incredibly unprofessional and irresponsible. So so disappointed and will never go back to this dentist ever again.

Medical redlining Alert : They say they accept Market place /State insurance plans but when you call they say they only accept 1 patient a month with these types of plans and that policy holders with this type of insurance would have to call at the beginning of each month to see if an appointment is available. Essentially pitting one against another for the 1 appointment seat for those who hold "this kind of insurance ". On contrary, I was told if I have insurance through an employer then I could schedule an appointment anytime as they have space available. If this isn't a form of Healthcare /insurance discrimination, I don't know what is. I asked why this information wasn't listed on the website or the insurance site, the office manager then said "it's not a policy". I take it it's not listed on any of the sites that one group of policy holders have to follow a different set of rules then any other because they don't want anyone to know this is what is being practiced. It's a form of exclusion based on socio-economic discrimination. I then considered paying out of pocket but I am definitely not paying out of pocket to any dental office that engage in these type of discriminatory practices .

I gave 2 stars because I feel like they're good at what they do and they're fast. I left out 3 stars because I was made aware that all services needed to be paid at the time of service. Now I dont have a problem with that. Then that after my 2 extraction the front desk lady said that they have to update my bill cause one of my tooth was impacted. They said the difference will probably be about $100 difference. They'll mail the remainder of the bill to me. Still, no problem here. What I don't like is that after the fact of being told all this, is that they sent me 3 additional bills totaling about $500 extra. 3 additional bills for 3 different things? Why it wasn't all on my original bill, I have no idea. I didnt agree to an extra $500 out of pocket. They pulled a quick one on me. Dont let their friendliness fool u, they'll try to milk u for for all they can. First and last time for me here.

Great place! A very thorough and comprehensive exam and cleaning. Andrea and Dr. Maroney were wonderful to work with! The service they provided was superior, and their laid back, fun, yet professional personalities made it a joy to be in their chair. THANK YOU!

Deceptive practices! They told us that x-rays would be fully covered and then sent us a bill later and tried to say that they had never said that. This is not a good dental practice - there are so many good choices, save yourself the headache and go somewhere else that does a good job - which is not park dental high pointe!

If I could give Park Dental in Lake Elmo a rating it would be a 10 star Dr, Hendrickson not only is a great dentist and a caring person but goes beyond if there there is a problem to make it right.I might add at no cost. THere are a lot of dentist in case that would of said nothing we could do. Today I went to see Dr,. Went hope the spelling is right he put a peng in my tooth because my tooth fell of after a crown was put at no charge. All the Neg. reviews seem to be summed up as pay your d----m bills not every is free..

I have been going here for years and highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a new dentist! They have a great care plan if you don't have dental insurance, which is what I have used for the last couple of years. Dr. Maroney just did a root canal for me and it was a great experience!! I have seen both Dr. Hendrickson and Dr. Maroney over the last several years. Everyone is friendly and welcoming!
