In 1972, Dr. Greg Swenson and Dr. Bud Murn saw a need for consistent, high quality, affordable dental care in their community. With their vision to put patients first, they formed one of the first group practices in Minnesota.

Our doctors and clinical staff are committed to delivering the highest quality of care to every patient. Each team member strives to make your experience at Park Dental the best dental experience youve ever had.

With dozens of convenient and locally owned locations throughout the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota, there are plenty of reasons to choose Park Dental. Our history of providing personalized, quality care is unrivaled in the Twin Cities, and we treat each patient as a valuable part of the Park Dental family.

Whether youve moved to a new area, are looking to change your dental provider or just need a second opinion, we have a qualified dentist close by to provide the care you need. There are many reasons our patients choose Park Dental. Here are the main reasons they keep coming back:

Park Dental has experienced doctors and team members who do whats right for our patients. Many of us have invested our entire careers at Park Dental. We look forward to a bright future caring for your dental needs.

Our rigorous credentialing program ensures that each doctor, dental hygienist and dental assistant is properly licensed. Our clinical excellence and quality assurance standards put our patients at ease so they can focus on getting to know their doctor and team members without worrying about the quality of care.

Park Dental doctors and team members stay up-to-date with the latest procedures and technology. Some teach at the University of Minnesota Dental School and other community and technical colleges. We also serve on dental advisory boards and participate in professional dental associations.

Whatever your dental needs, we provide the individualized care you need to enjoy a lifetime of oral health. Regular visits to your dentist are one of the best ways to prevent cavities and gum disease, and the American Dental Association recommends you see a dentist at least once a year. For optimal dental health, most of our patients visit every 6 months according to their personalized care plan.

We understand that todays dental care is better than yesterdays. Thats why we are always pursuing the latest and most effective dental technology. Our practices invest in state-of-the-art technology to ensure you will always get the best dental care available.

One benefit of our group practice is convenience and flexibility. Some family members can visit a location near home or school and a parent can choose a location near work. We make it easy for you to get the care you need, when and where you need it.

On your first visit, we ask you to complete an online new patient registration form. If youve seen a dentist in the past, we can help to facilitate the transfer of your dental records and radiographs (X-rays).

Park Dental accepts most dental insurance plans and has a wide range of payment options including cash, check, debit card and credit card. We also offer convenient payment options through Wells Fargo so you dont have to worry about how you are going to afford your treatment.

Park Dental was founded on the principle of making communities better through accessible dental care, and we remain committed to promoting the importance of dental health throughout our communities. Our core purpose is to improve peoples lives as a leader in oral health.

Participating in the community is part of who we are. Our involvement includes Give Kids a Smile, Minnesota Mission of Mercy, the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association Tour de Cure, health fairs, community events, parades, neighborhood festivals, providing learning resources, volunteering, teaching about good dental hygiene at local schools and daycare centers, and much more.

Even after 45 years, we continue to work to refine our practices so youll receive the best dental care possible. Thats why individuals and families throughout the Twin Cities, greater Minnesota and western Wisconsin have trusted Park Dental with their care for the past five decades.

Every doctor and team member is fully credentialed and licensed (as the position requires), reviewed by peers and continually learning and improving. Our quality assurance standards build confidence with our patients so they can continue to trust our dental care and services.

As a dental group, we provide on-going opportunities for mentoring, constructive feedback and professional development at every level: doctors, dental hygienists, dental assistants, scheduling managers and practice managers. Every Park Dental doctor participates in our peer evaluation and mentoring program to help ensure each patient receives necessary and appropriate care. Mentoring is a positive experience at Park Dental because the focus is on learning and growing in our profession to benefit our patients.

We promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning. Park Dental doctors invest resources and time to provide continuing education for themselves and their teams. We customize our training and development programs so we can better meet the specific needs of our patients. Being a group practice allows us to pool our resources. For example, we are able to bring in local and national experts to conduct seminars and training for our doctors and team members.

Our commitment is to provide learning opportunities for professional and personal growth so that everyone acquires new skills that enhance our ability to meet patients needs. A high-quality continuing education program benefits our patients because the more we know, the better we can care for your needs.

Each doctor receives routine reviews by other Park Dental dentists. These reviews evaluate appropriateness of care and proper patient record documentation. Doctors and team members also receive one-on-one feedback as a part of our ongoing peer review and quality assurance processes.

Park Dentals partnership with specialty dental providers, such as The Dental Specialists, allows us to meet most dental needs you or your family may have throughout your lifetime. We provide all general dentistry services and refer patients to a specialists when advanced care is required.

Our close working relationship with these specialty doctors helps us to provide dental care that is seamless and consistent. Collaboration also provides educational opportunities and professional growth as we work together on behalf of our patients needs.

Our facilities are professionally designed and appointed to allow each location to promote clinical excellence and patient comfort. The environment of our practices is calm and professional, enhanced by natural light, color and art.

Park Dental supports and participates in The Dental Practice-Based Research Network (DPBRN) whose mission is To improve oral health by conducting dental practice-based research and by serving dental professionals through education and collegiality.

The Dental Practice-Based Research Network (DPBRN) is a consortium of participating practices and dental organizations committed to advancing knowledge of dental practice and ways to improve it. Essentially, it is practical science done about, in and for the benefit of real world daily clinical practice. DPBRNs major source of funding is the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR), part of the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH).

When you visit a Park Dental location, you will receive quality care that is necessary and appropriate the right care for you. Our approach to patient-centered care is exemplified by our S-E-R-V-I-C-E:

Our approach to dental care begins with a thorough, comprehensive examination. We recommend a treatment plan to meet your individual needs and discuss how to approach that treatment, keeping you at the center of the decision-making process.

Our patients often request elective services like teeth whitening, veneers and composite (white) fillings. We work with you to produce the desired results because we want you to look good and feel good about your smile.

At every Park Dental location you will receive quality care from well-trained doctors and team members. Our quality assurance and peer review programs help ensure high standards of care are upheld. Our facilities and processes meet or exceed state and federal standards.

At Park Dental, doctors inspire each other every day. Doctors learn from those more experienced, and doctors who have practiced for years renew their passion for learning through interactions with newer doctors.

We get great results because our doctors and team members listen to their patients and encourage each other to contribute their unique perspective and abilities. We make decisions by asking one question: Whats best for the patient?

We believe the best value we can provide any patient is dental health for a lifetime. Were here for you when you need us. We provide our patients a full range of dental services, including emergency care, at convenient locations with extended hours.

Park Dental strives to be a good neighbor to our communities. We participate in Give Kids a Smile, Minnesota Mission of Mercy, American Heart Association Start! Heart Walk, American Diabetes Association Diabetes Expo, health fair and community events. We also provide learning resources, volunteer and teach good dental hygiene at local schools and daycare centers.

All doctors and team members are fully credentialed according to the requirements for their position and participate in continuing education throughout their careers. At Park Dental, you can be confident you will receive care from highly educated, well-trained professionals.

My experience has been top notch. They have great communication, it is easy to make an appointment, and have provided consistent and thorough care at each of my appointments.

I cannot imagine a more positive clinic experience! Each experience has been truly above and beyond. I have seen three different dental hygienists and three different dentists. Each one has specifically impressed me with their full attention, care and thorough explanations. Truly, a positive experience for otherwise uncomfortable dental care! :)

I have been shocked after being charged for the parking spot which was offered as a free service by the clinic. It is a misrepresentation to your customers when you offer it for free, but it isn't. I called today to the secretary after my appointment, and asked if there is anything to do about the charge. She said "no". Who can help me with that then?

Experienced terrible tooth pain after getting fillings- there was no pain prior to me coming in to get my teeth filled. Within 15 months half the fillings fell out or were loosened and needed to be replaced. Would not recommend this dentist office- the St. Paul location is much better with better more experienced dentists.

I came here to get my wisdom teeth removed, they broke one of my tooth in the process and it currently aches as I write this. The broken tooth needed a filling which was to be done after the wisdom teeth were taken out but as a result of it being broken I now need a crown which cost thousands - 10 times more than I had to pay for the filling. I requested they cover the more expensive treatment I now need as a result of the broke tooth and they refused to pay any part or provide any discount for the crown which I now need due to their carelessness. Be careful coming here! Every reputable establishment I know will provide a discount or wouldn't charge you if they provided poor service. Yet Park Dental LaSalle Plaza refused to do either after breaking my tooth. I'll never return here. Beware!

I've gone for a few years but the place is totally impersonal and they don't care to invest. Have surfaced tmj issues, not much interest and the hygienist I had this past round was a disaster.

Every time I have been here it has been great. Dr. Riester and the two hygienists/assistants Emily and Kari are wonderful. They are professional, caring and have warm personalities. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

Well, with what I experienced, there should be a sign on the front glass saying "BLACK PEOPLE ARE NOT WELCOME HERE". From the receptionist to the Dentist's chair to paying the bill, I was made to feel very unwelcome. I was paying in cash, so it couldn't have been a money/insurance issue. I paid almost $1400 cash to have a crown put in. It fell out less than 2 weeks later. When I came back to have it put back in, I was told that the tooth that it was anchored to was too small and that the only thing I could do was to get an implant. But wait, aren't u the ones that chiseled my tooth down? More $$$. Would think twice about going there, especially if u are a person of color

I'm only giving any stars because the hygienist was phenomenal. The dentist I had was horrible. It took me 2 years to leave this review because it's hard for me to criticize anyone. Dr. Wood was my dentist and she lacked patience and she didn't even consider my anxiety with dentists nor did she factor in my anxiety overall and I made it my business to explain this. I was willing to pay extra for gas or anything to help my anxiety. I had a crown and multiple fillings. I was rushed and anytime I felt discomfort during the procedure, Dr. Wood acted like she didn't care. She just continued to saw and drill and expressed irritability when I asked for more injections. I had to follow up and return for more fillings but I'm absolutely petrified. I don't think she works there any longer... Kudos to Park. But the downside is that fear of dentist is a real thing and when the DDS completely disregards that and reinforces the fear.... It's all bad. I've been paying for dental insurance and am afraid to use it. I hope the hygienist has all the success and the techs are amazing and the front desk staff are phenomenal. They all get 1,000 stars. But that dentist?!?

Lacking in integrity! Soured experience due to a billing issue that is unresolved. Staff AND dentist told me I wouldn't be charged for a 10 minute consultation with the "care package" I purchased, but I still received a bill that they refuse to clear... friendly enough office staff, but I am frustrated that they won't remove the charge despite being clear the appointment wouldn't cost me anything. The dentist even ushered me out and waved to the receptionist, saying "we're good here". No bill was presented upon my leaving, being that it was made explicitly clear by the dentist that I was not to be charged ! Why the bill then, LaSalle? I can't recommend this location based on my treatment by billing staff... Edit: spoke to billing staff and explained my frustration: rather than taking an understanding tone, idiot staff member explained that "when you come into the office, it takes time. Time costs the office money. When you have a job, you get paid. If we don't get paid by you, we lose money". Wow, thanks for explaining the complexities of economics to me. Real eye opening... SMH. If I had known I'd receive such condescending service, I wouldn't have coughed up $700 for a cleaning and two cavity fillings here. Christ. Avoid this place. 0/10 in class.

I have been going to this clinic for several years now. My spouse also goes here for all of her dental care. I have nothing but praise to give to the amazing staff at Park Dental LaSalle. They are always quick, friendly, and work with my schedule. When we discuss my dental routine (typical), they encourage me to take steps in the right direction (floss more), but do so without shame or making me feel bad. I plan to keep going to Delta Dental for a long time to come.
