In 1972, Dr. Greg Swenson and Dr. Bud Murn saw a need for consistent, high quality, affordable dental care in their community. With their vision to put patients first, they formed one of the first group practices in Minnesota.

Our doctors and clinical staff are committed to delivering the highest quality of care to every patient. Each team member strives to make your experience at Park Dental the best dental experience youve ever had.

With dozens of convenient and locally owned locations throughout the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota, there are plenty of reasons to choose Park Dental. Our history of providing personalized, quality care is unrivaled in the Twin Cities, and we treat each patient as a valuable part of the Park Dental family.

Whether youve moved to a new area, are looking to change your dental provider or just need a second opinion, we have a qualified dentist close by to provide the care you need. There are many reasons our patients choose Park Dental. Here are the main reasons they keep coming back:

Park Dental has experienced doctors and team members who do whats right for our patients. Many of us have invested our entire careers at Park Dental. We look forward to a bright future caring for your dental needs.

Our rigorous credentialing program ensures that each doctor, dental hygienist and dental assistant is properly licensed. Our clinical excellence and quality assurance standards put our patients at ease so they can focus on getting to know their doctor and team members without worrying about the quality of care.

Park Dental doctors and team members stay up-to-date with the latest procedures and technology. Some teach at the University of Minnesota Dental School and other community and technical colleges. We also serve on dental advisory boards and participate in professional dental associations.

Whatever your dental needs, we provide the individualized care you need to enjoy a lifetime of oral health. Regular visits to your dentist are one of the best ways to prevent cavities and gum disease, and the American Dental Association recommends you see a dentist at least once a year. For optimal dental health, most of our patients visit every 6 months according to their personalized care plan.

We understand that todays dental care is better than yesterdays. Thats why we are always pursuing the latest and most effective dental technology. Our practices invest in state-of-the-art technology to ensure you will always get the best dental care available.

One benefit of our group practice is convenience and flexibility. Some family members can visit a location near home or school and a parent can choose a location near work. We make it easy for you to get the care you need, when and where you need it.

On your first visit, we ask you to complete an online new patient registration form. If youve seen a dentist in the past, we can help to facilitate the transfer of your dental records and radiographs (X-rays).

Park Dental accepts most dental insurance plans and has a wide range of payment options including cash, check, debit card and credit card. We also offer convenient payment options through Wells Fargo so you dont have to worry about how you are going to afford your treatment.

Park Dental was founded on the principle of making communities better through accessible dental care, and we remain committed to promoting the importance of dental health throughout our communities. Our core purpose is to improve peoples lives as a leader in oral health.

Participating in the community is part of who we are. Our involvement includes Give Kids a Smile, Minnesota Mission of Mercy, the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association Tour de Cure, health fairs, community events, parades, neighborhood festivals, providing learning resources, volunteering, teaching about good dental hygiene at local schools and daycare centers, and much more.

Even after 45 years, we continue to work to refine our practices so youll receive the best dental care possible. Thats why individuals and families throughout the Twin Cities, greater Minnesota and western Wisconsin have trusted Park Dental with their care for the past five decades.

Every doctor and team member is fully credentialed and licensed (as the position requires), reviewed by peers and continually learning and improving. Our quality assurance standards build confidence with our patients so they can continue to trust our dental care and services.

As a dental group, we provide on-going opportunities for mentoring, constructive feedback and professional development at every level: doctors, dental hygienists, dental assistants, scheduling managers and practice managers. Every Park Dental doctor participates in our peer evaluation and mentoring program to help ensure each patient receives necessary and appropriate care. Mentoring is a positive experience at Park Dental because the focus is on learning and growing in our profession to benefit our patients.

We promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning. Park Dental doctors invest resources and time to provide continuing education for themselves and their teams. We customize our training and development programs so we can better meet the specific needs of our patients. Being a group practice allows us to pool our resources. For example, we are able to bring in local and national experts to conduct seminars and training for our doctors and team members.

Our commitment is to provide learning opportunities for professional and personal growth so that everyone acquires new skills that enhance our ability to meet patients needs. A high-quality continuing education program benefits our patients because the more we know, the better we can care for your needs.

Each doctor receives routine reviews by other Park Dental dentists. These reviews evaluate appropriateness of care and proper patient record documentation. Doctors and team members also receive one-on-one feedback as a part of our ongoing peer review and quality assurance processes.

Park Dentals partnership with specialty dental providers, such as The Dental Specialists, allows us to meet most dental needs you or your family may have throughout your lifetime. We provide all general dentistry services and refer patients to a specialists when advanced care is required.

Our close working relationship with these specialty doctors helps us to provide dental care that is seamless and consistent. Collaboration also provides educational opportunities and professional growth as we work together on behalf of our patients needs.

Our facilities are professionally designed and appointed to allow each location to promote clinical excellence and patient comfort. The environment of our practices is calm and professional, enhanced by natural light, color and art.

Park Dental supports and participates in The Dental Practice-Based Research Network (DPBRN) whose mission is To improve oral health by conducting dental practice-based research and by serving dental professionals through education and collegiality.

The Dental Practice-Based Research Network (DPBRN) is a consortium of participating practices and dental organizations committed to advancing knowledge of dental practice and ways to improve it. Essentially, it is practical science done about, in and for the benefit of real world daily clinical practice. DPBRNs major source of funding is the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR), part of the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH).

When you visit a Park Dental location, you will receive quality care that is necessary and appropriate the right care for you. Our approach to patient-centered care is exemplified by our S-E-R-V-I-C-E:

Our approach to dental care begins with a thorough, comprehensive examination. We recommend a treatment plan to meet your individual needs and discuss how to approach that treatment, keeping you at the center of the decision-making process.

Our patients often request elective services like teeth whitening, veneers and composite (white) fillings. We work with you to produce the desired results because we want you to look good and feel good about your smile.

At every Park Dental location you will receive quality care from well-trained doctors and team members. Our quality assurance and peer review programs help ensure high standards of care are upheld. Our facilities and processes meet or exceed state and federal standards.

At Park Dental, doctors inspire each other every day. Doctors learn from those more experienced, and doctors who have practiced for years renew their passion for learning through interactions with newer doctors.

We get great results because our doctors and team members listen to their patients and encourage each other to contribute their unique perspective and abilities. We make decisions by asking one question: Whats best for the patient?

We believe the best value we can provide any patient is dental health for a lifetime. Were here for you when you need us. We provide our patients a full range of dental services, including emergency care, at convenient locations with extended hours.

Park Dental strives to be a good neighbor to our communities. We participate in Give Kids a Smile, Minnesota Mission of Mercy, American Heart Association Start! Heart Walk, American Diabetes Association Diabetes Expo, health fair and community events. We also provide learning resources, volunteer and teach good dental hygiene at local schools and daycare centers.

All doctors and team members are fully credentialed according to the requirements for their position and participate in continuing education throughout their careers. At Park Dental, you can be confident you will receive care from highly educated, well-trained professionals.

Amazing how sweet and nice they are. I highly recommend this location. Very inexpensive and almost painless. Can't say anything bad. Wonderful staff and very professional dentists.

Quoting their website: "Each Park Dental location strives to make coming to the dentist easier by offering convenient hours that fit your lifestyle. Our practices are open Monday through Saturday with early morning and evening appointment options. Kids and families are welcome any time, so you never have to worry about trying to squeeze in your visit to the dentist." From personal experience, the above statement is only for kids and families who are not on State insurance. You MUST be dialing in by 7AM on the FIRST of the Month to even think of getting your child seen. Even then they'll try to get you to pay out of pocket for expenses that are covered. My daughter had her tooth filled and AFTER the visit they said the 'MA website was down and [Park Dental] didn't think it would be covered so told me I needed to pay about $400 out of pocket.' Thankfully I'm not dumb and told them they can bill me if they need - I never received one. I am on dental insurance through my employer and never once have they had issues fitting me in or over charging me. I switched providers and after this morning I have decided to switch providers for my child. Paying out of pocket for anywhere else would be a more enjoyable experience.

Go to another dentist. I came in for a routine hygiene appointment, my dentist at the time, Dr. Fletcher, stated that I needed a filling on my back left molar. I trusted her expertise and got the filling. One month later I had excruciating pain and couldn't sleep or focus for 24 hours. I went to another dentist as I was out of state at the time and they were appalled! Chaska Park Dental had placed the filling directly on the nerve in my tooth! I had to get an emergency root canal and crown right then and there costing me thousands of dollars. To make matters worse Park Dental refused to recognize any wrongdoing and the dentist in question, Dr. Fletcher, said that she made the best decision at the time in multiple conversations that I had with her. Despite that "best decision" wrecking my tooth. Disappointing. Avoid this place.

I have had my front teeth fixed many times by many dentists over 20 years. Kari Fletcher did the best job by far. Not only do they look better but they haven't had any problems since she fixed them. Kari and her team do a fantastic job every time. Park Dental continues to impress me. Thanks for doing great work.

My experience here in 2 visits has been absolutely outstanding. Both a maintenance/regular service visit and a tooth emergency were handled promptly and professionally. Every person I met from front desk staff to dental techs to dentists was knowledgeable, pleasant, helpful and caring. I literally could not ask for a better experience at a dentist!

I would not recommend going here. There service is poor. I stayed with them for so long because I've went here since I was a kid. They have gotten worse over the years. Today they told me they couldn't see our family due to a collection bill I payed 2 years ago that they failed to mention to me on every phone call I made to them over time. If you don't pay your bill on time it goes to collection immediately they will not work with you after that and all your family members with your last name will no longer be able to be seen at there clinic even if there adults and have nothing to do with your bill. They were rude to me and un willing to help. I have had this dentist for 35 years and am now making a change was treated very disrespectful today the lady at the desk was rude and mean that helped me. I will never recommend this dentist office to anyone. Not to mention if you have a child with mental health issues don't bring them here they don't work with you we had so many times my child had melt downs because of this dentist office. I'm happy they said we can't go there. Gave me opportunity to find new adult dentist for myself and my adult kids and a wonderful pediatric dentistry I would of never made a change other wise I would of kept dealing with the rude behavior. I also called them many times for scheduling and they ignored me and promised to call us back and never got calls back. Happy we found a different dentist that treats our family better. This dentist deserves a 0 star not even a 1 star rating.

This place so discriminates based on your insurance. I have only 15 minutes per month to try and get an appointment for my children. If you can't call on the 1st at 7am, or if they don't answer your call first, you have to try again next month. Horrible place. If my insurance paid for someplace else-I would NEVER go here. They are only concerned with money, not the patient. I've alway paid for all my treatments even when they misquote me. Signing forms the minute you walk in agreeing to pay if insurance doesn't-EVERY TIME. Disgusting how money hungry they are. Rude staff.

Absolutely horrendous. Denied me as a patient due to a bill that went to collections during the pandemic because I lost my job. They quoted a $0 operation and then I got a bill a month later. Sitting here with a throbbing jaw and no dentist.

Chaska Park Dental discriminates against low income households that have medical insurance through the state of MN. Per Park Dental policy. Any person - child or adult can only call to schedule an appointment on the 1st day of each month or 1st business day of the month. They only reserve a certain number of appointments per month for low income households. Making sure that they have more than enough for higher incomes families who can afford insurance through their jobs. Even the Saturday "children only" appointments. Don't bother calling on the 3rd! Or if your child has an urgent matter on the 15th- too bad for them! Oh how about if you call on the 1st and the all of the appointments are filled, better luck next time.. This is Structural Race Privilege at its finest. - who are the low income people generally?? Yes thank you.

Our experience at Park Dental Chaska has been an utter disappointment. On several occasions we were quoted $0 out of pocket, later to be billed up to $1,500 for a crown that they said was covered. This happened with another procedure more recently. The front desk made us to feel like we were trying to get free services when we have always paid our bills and didn't even complain when they misquoted us for a crown, costing us $1,500 out of pocket. The treatment we received from the women at the front desk was awful. They would go behind the barrier to talk about me and then come back and talk to me in a condescending tone about me owing the day's treatment fee up front before any work had been done AFTER quoting me $0 out of pocket. The continued pattern of inconsistent estimates and then "losing" the original $0 estimate, was the last straw. I hope no one is treated as poorly as we were. We have dual insurance, adequate funds to pay our bills, so I cannot imagine how they treat people who have less funds or inadequate/no insurance coverage. This is no way to run a business that should be in the business of improving dental health and giving patients more self confidence in their smiles. It's heartbreaking really.

The dental assistant/dentist always talk me through the whole procedure, which makes me feel comfortable and anxiety free.
