In 1972, Dr. Greg Swenson and Dr. Bud Murn saw a need for consistent, high quality, affordable dental care in their community. With their vision to put patients first, they formed one of the first group practices in Minnesota.

Our doctors and clinical staff are committed to delivering the highest quality of care to every patient. Each team member strives to make your experience at Park Dental the best dental experience youve ever had.

With dozens of convenient and locally owned locations throughout the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota, there are plenty of reasons to choose Park Dental. Our history of providing personalized, quality care is unrivaled in the Twin Cities, and we treat each patient as a valuable part of the Park Dental family.

Whether youve moved to a new area, are looking to change your dental provider or just need a second opinion, we have a qualified dentist close by to provide the care you need. There are many reasons our patients choose Park Dental. Here are the main reasons they keep coming back:

Park Dental has experienced doctors and team members who do whats right for our patients. Many of us have invested our entire careers at Park Dental. We look forward to a bright future caring for your dental needs.

Our rigorous credentialing program ensures that each doctor, dental hygienist and dental assistant is properly licensed. Our clinical excellence and quality assurance standards put our patients at ease so they can focus on getting to know their doctor and team members without worrying about the quality of care.

Park Dental doctors and team members stay up-to-date with the latest procedures and technology. Some teach at the University of Minnesota Dental School and other community and technical colleges. We also serve on dental advisory boards and participate in professional dental associations.

Whatever your dental needs, we provide the individualized care you need to enjoy a lifetime of oral health. Regular visits to your dentist are one of the best ways to prevent cavities and gum disease, and the American Dental Association recommends you see a dentist at least once a year. For optimal dental health, most of our patients visit every 6 months according to their personalized care plan.

We understand that todays dental care is better than yesterdays. Thats why we are always pursuing the latest and most effective dental technology. Our practices invest in state-of-the-art technology to ensure you will always get the best dental care available.

One benefit of our group practice is convenience and flexibility. Some family members can visit a location near home or school and a parent can choose a location near work. We make it easy for you to get the care you need, when and where you need it.

On your first visit, we ask you to complete an online new patient registration form. If youve seen a dentist in the past, we can help to facilitate the transfer of your dental records and radiographs (X-rays).

Park Dental accepts most dental insurance plans and has a wide range of payment options including cash, check, debit card and credit card. We also offer convenient payment options through Wells Fargo so you dont have to worry about how you are going to afford your treatment.

Park Dental was founded on the principle of making communities better through accessible dental care, and we remain committed to promoting the importance of dental health throughout our communities. Our core purpose is to improve peoples lives as a leader in oral health.

Participating in the community is part of who we are. Our involvement includes Give Kids a Smile, Minnesota Mission of Mercy, the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association Tour de Cure, health fairs, community events, parades, neighborhood festivals, providing learning resources, volunteering, teaching about good dental hygiene at local schools and daycare centers, and much more.

Even after 45 years, we continue to work to refine our practices so youll receive the best dental care possible. Thats why individuals and families throughout the Twin Cities, greater Minnesota and western Wisconsin have trusted Park Dental with their care for the past five decades.

Every doctor and team member is fully credentialed and licensed (as the position requires), reviewed by peers and continually learning and improving. Our quality assurance standards build confidence with our patients so they can continue to trust our dental care and services.

As a dental group, we provide on-going opportunities for mentoring, constructive feedback and professional development at every level: doctors, dental hygienists, dental assistants, scheduling managers and practice managers. Every Park Dental doctor participates in our peer evaluation and mentoring program to help ensure each patient receives necessary and appropriate care. Mentoring is a positive experience at Park Dental because the focus is on learning and growing in our profession to benefit our patients.

We promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning. Park Dental doctors invest resources and time to provide continuing education for themselves and their teams. We customize our training and development programs so we can better meet the specific needs of our patients. Being a group practice allows us to pool our resources. For example, we are able to bring in local and national experts to conduct seminars and training for our doctors and team members.

Our commitment is to provide learning opportunities for professional and personal growth so that everyone acquires new skills that enhance our ability to meet patients needs. A high-quality continuing education program benefits our patients because the more we know, the better we can care for your needs.

Each doctor receives routine reviews by other Park Dental dentists. These reviews evaluate appropriateness of care and proper patient record documentation. Doctors and team members also receive one-on-one feedback as a part of our ongoing peer review and quality assurance processes.

Park Dentals partnership with specialty dental providers, such as The Dental Specialists, allows us to meet most dental needs you or your family may have throughout your lifetime. We provide all general dentistry services and refer patients to a specialists when advanced care is required.

Our close working relationship with these specialty doctors helps us to provide dental care that is seamless and consistent. Collaboration also provides educational opportunities and professional growth as we work together on behalf of our patients needs.

Our facilities are professionally designed and appointed to allow each location to promote clinical excellence and patient comfort. The environment of our practices is calm and professional, enhanced by natural light, color and art.

Park Dental supports and participates in The Dental Practice-Based Research Network (DPBRN) whose mission is To improve oral health by conducting dental practice-based research and by serving dental professionals through education and collegiality.

The Dental Practice-Based Research Network (DPBRN) is a consortium of participating practices and dental organizations committed to advancing knowledge of dental practice and ways to improve it. Essentially, it is practical science done about, in and for the benefit of real world daily clinical practice. DPBRNs major source of funding is the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR), part of the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH).

When you visit a Park Dental location, you will receive quality care that is necessary and appropriate the right care for you. Our approach to patient-centered care is exemplified by our S-E-R-V-I-C-E:

Our approach to dental care begins with a thorough, comprehensive examination. We recommend a treatment plan to meet your individual needs and discuss how to approach that treatment, keeping you at the center of the decision-making process.

Our patients often request elective services like teeth whitening, veneers and composite (white) fillings. We work with you to produce the desired results because we want you to look good and feel good about your smile.

At every Park Dental location you will receive quality care from well-trained doctors and team members. Our quality assurance and peer review programs help ensure high standards of care are upheld. Our facilities and processes meet or exceed state and federal standards.

At Park Dental, doctors inspire each other every day. Doctors learn from those more experienced, and doctors who have practiced for years renew their passion for learning through interactions with newer doctors.

We get great results because our doctors and team members listen to their patients and encourage each other to contribute their unique perspective and abilities. We make decisions by asking one question: Whats best for the patient?

We believe the best value we can provide any patient is dental health for a lifetime. Were here for you when you need us. We provide our patients a full range of dental services, including emergency care, at convenient locations with extended hours.

Park Dental strives to be a good neighbor to our communities. We participate in Give Kids a Smile, Minnesota Mission of Mercy, American Heart Association Start! Heart Walk, American Diabetes Association Diabetes Expo, health fair and community events. We also provide learning resources, volunteer and teach good dental hygiene at local schools and daycare centers.

All doctors and team members are fully credentialed according to the requirements for their position and participate in continuing education throughout their careers. At Park Dental, you can be confident you will receive care from highly educated, well-trained professionals.

Horrible customer service I called back on January 2022 to schedule a cleaning ( which I forgot about it ) so today I got an email reminding me of my appointment and so I called the office. First lady was so confused and put me on hold I gave her my information and my insurance then another lady picked up the call and said I couldn't be seen because I have insurance through the state and they're not taking patients with that type of insurance. So I waited since January through May ( May was the month when they had openings for new/state insurance patients) just to be told " oh We can't see you" " I don't know who told you, you could be seen here" I knew they messed up when the 1st lady put on hold. I even asked them if I cloud pay out of pocket since I've waited all this month and I really needed a cleaning but was told that would be illegal because I have insurance. don't lie to people if don't want to provide service to state insurance just say you don't take patients with that type of insurance and that's it. Don't put them on this long waiting list just to then tell them oh no I'm sorry for the mistake we're still not taking new patients. Just wasted my time.....

I had been going to and taking my daughter to this dentist for a number of years. I have been VIGILANT in my dental care, and every hygenist and dentist (including Dr.Litzenbeger) have confirmed as such that I do great. Yet somehow, within one 6 month cleaning window, I went from "You're doing great! No issues, nothing of concern!" to needing a deep filling that is potentially still going to need a crown, and another that will likely need a ROOT CANAL. And thats only after trying a crown first. There is no way in my mind that this was not an oversight. I did not go from everything is perfect to having a cavity that bored down into my tooth so badly that I probably need a root canal with NO change in my vigilant dental care within 6 months. I'm already $3,000 into this tooth and still need the root canal. Pulled my family and going somewhere else.

I have had one visit to base my experience off of. Let me tell you, I do not like going to the dentist. If I had a choice I would rather get a tattoo on my face than go to the dentist - mostly because I have never really had a good experience and let's be honest having your mouth wide open for almost an hour and your gums poked and probbed at does not feel good. But your not reading this to hear that. What I would want to know as a new patient seeking a dentist is the following: This dentist office is in a convenient location, free parking. Pleasant waiting area. Heather has an inviting and friendly attitude that is nice when checking in. She explained everything up to my wait time. Then Brianne, the dental hygienist was equally kind and thorough in explaining what to expect. She gave me time to rest my jaw and was as gentle as she could be to my gums. What I appreciated the most is that Brianne took the time to run procedures through my insurance and informing me if there were or were not any cost associated with them - huge plus!! Then Dr. Litzenberg was professional and personable in greeting me as a new patient. He spent a great effort explaining what was on my images and clarifying I understood. What I appreciated most of all was that I was not "lectured" the whole time about flossing and brushing even though I know that is there job. Instead it was kindly suggested to do such things to prevent A, B, and C. This is the first time I have been to the dentist that I wasn't told to rinse my mouth after every sip of soda or juice - because let's be real, who does that. This is also the first time a dentist actually told me that some people have hereditary bacteria in there mouth that makes them more susceptible to cavities - thank you, for the honesty! I'll be back soon for cavity fills! Highly recommend.

5 stars for Staff!... Dentist Kyle R. Danielson, DDS not so much. i asked to see the cavity that was to be filled (no pain no external indication that i could find) he indicated it was a shadow he saw when light was shown thru it, they could not show me, i asked for an x-ray to verify, x-ray was taken.... maybe a cavity... Dentist would then not fill it said i did not trust him. News flash! Trust is earned not given! I cannot honestly say if there is a cavity or not, will try to update with next dentist!. is it really to much to ask for proof of a cavity before that crappy shot?

I'm in the military and have TriCare. I automatically get health and dental included with it. When my wife and I got married I added her, thinking we got the same coverage. My wife and I went here to get our teeth cleaned. Afterwards the office called me and said my wife didn't have coverage and tried billing me close to $400 for xrays and cleaning. I called TriCare and got dental added to her plan, called the office back to see if they could rebill it. Park Dental said that they woldn't change the billing date. So I asked if we could lessen the bill a little as I was not expecting a $400 bill. The office manager said she would speak with the dentist and get back to me. A few months go by and we got a letter from collections negatively impacting my wife's credit score. I called the office again and they said there was nothing they could do. So we paid it. Office manager said she left my wife a voicemail. My wife said she never got a call or voicemail. I don't understand why the manager wouldn't have called me in the first place since I was dealing with her, call me as well, or at least tried calling my wife again to get a hold of her. Next cleaning time comes and I gave them the benefit of the doubt and was going to return for there service since we both forsure have coverage this time. The office manager tells me that my wife has to pay in full up front now and get reiburst by TriCare. I'm a business owner and I would never treat my customers like this. Not willing to help a customer out with a couple hundred dollars for an honest mistake in exchange for a lifetime of business. The office manager comes off as rude if you have an issue, and doesn't seem to care for the customer. Terrible customer service. We are currently using Albertville Family Dental now.

First time going to this place was great, cleaning went great, nice people. Called back to schedule appointment for follow up treatment and they are closed for 4 days... not able to set up any appointments until then? Questionable at best may be looking for a new dentist office once again!?!?

Far and away, the best experience I've had at a dentist. Dr. Danielson and his staff really cover all the bases when it comes to making the patient as comfortable as possible. Park Dental is one of the few dentists in my area that accept my state insurance. I recently had three pretty major extractions performed by Kyle Danielson, and every single one was a painless, low stress, and almost "hair cut" like experience, meaning that once the initial shot of novacane went in, I could have reasonably slept through the procedures. I never have luck with novacane taking, but much like a tooth ninja, Dr. Danielson has the problem taken out without much notice. My only complaint lies with them only being open two days, every other week, and three days on the others. This may be because he practices at a busier office on those days, but it's a real shame for us locals. I live in Monticello and had to submit to paying $170 out of pocket and going to a local office when I gave myself dry socket. Bottom line, if you need any kind of dental work done, this should be your first call. I've been recommending them, word of mouth, to everyone I hear complaining of tooth pain. Hopefully world will spread and they can expand their hours. 5/5
