Originally from Yakima, Washington, Dr. Matthew Krieger was inspired to pursue oral surgery while attending dental school. He has always been driven by the urge to help others and found that oral surgery could relieve patients of pain while providing a beneficial impact on their lives. Dr. Krieger enjoys building positive relationships with referring doctors and general dentists, and he looks forward to delivering exceptional oral surgery care to patients in the Dallas community.
Dr. Krieger wants his patients to know that he values being able to educate patients about their treatment and that he understands those with dental phobias or anxieties. He strives to make every patient feel comfortable and welcomed while in his care, and he believes that establishing connections with patients through small talk, discussing the steps of treatment, and answering any questions is a great way to help his patients feel taken care of and at ease.
Dr. Krieger earned a bachelors degree in Spanish from Whitworth College in 2006. He completed dental school from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in 2011 with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. Following dental school, Dr. Krieger completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Wilmington Hospital in Delaware. There, he gained years of hands-on experience in a hospital setting and was trained in the safe administration of anesthesia and IV sedation.
When hes not at work, Dr. Krieger enjoys working out and cooking. He and his wife are foodies, and they love experimenting and finding new restaurants. In his free time, he enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with his wife and their canine companiona Goldendoodle!
As always, our practice takes every precaution to keep patients and staff safe and healthy. While we have always adhered to and exceeded the standards for decontamination set by OSHA, we are going one step further and incorporating the latest CDC guidelines.

After postponing a wisdom tooth surgery for so long, after all the horrors I heard from getting your wisdom teeth out and the cost of it. I was somewhat nervous. Then I came across Park Citities Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Associates and I don't regret it. All of the staff was very professional and welcoming. Dr. Phillips did a wonderful job. I had no pain whatsoever after the procedure, and Dr. Phillips himself called me later that day to check on me. They really care about their patients.

It was a great experience! I was nervous about going out for some time but it felt like 10 seconds and they were done. Wisdom Teeth were pulled with no problems. Thankfully I only needed an hour nap after I got home and I was fully conscious. There was not much pain and I had a quick recovery!

Great team work and efficiency and I loved the video preparation sent to me ahead of time so I would know what to expect before, during and after surgery. As for the procedure itself, with anesthesia, there was no discomfort and the process seemed over quickly. In the first two weeks of recovery, thankfully no narcotics were needed, as pain management was accomplished nicely with just Tylenol & Advil

Excellent experience. Dr. Phillips is very skilled, and the entire staff is top notch. I had a tooth extraction (w/ very deep roots that required anesthesia). It's as good of an experience that I could hope for with a tooth extraction. Dr. Phillips & staff communicated everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and made me feel comfortable with every part of the process. They were in constant contact throughout, including weeks after surgery to check in on my recovery. I thought I would need a replacement implant, but Dr. Phillips talked me out of it, citing that it's pricey and almost all patients don't miss that tooth. On top of that, the price of the procedure was considerably less than I expected to pay (no dental insurance). I'd recommend Dr. Phillips to anyone needing an extraction.

Dr. Phillips and the staff at Park Cities were all wonderful. The staff was caring and and put me immediately at ease. Dr. Phillips is highly experienced and did an excellent job. The surgery was super fast and the incisions are healing nicely. Not only that, Dr. Phillips was kind and caring, even calling to check up. When we had questions about the after-care, he replied promptly. I highly recommend this place and Dr. Phillips to anyone who needs oral surgery!

Park Cities actually makes a dental appointment "pleasant". From scheduling to completion of procedure I felt as though I was being treated like family. In these lingering Covid times any medical office where your asked to "open your mouth wide" creates a bit of fear, but this office is spotless and inviting. Dr. Phillips made me feel at ease immediately, especially since anesthesia was involved. I look forward to returning here to finish up my implant. All in all, a top notch experience.

We had a wonderful experience here at the Park Cities Oral and Maxillofacial. The office staff and dr. Phillips are very professional and very friendly. The information on surgery was provided through a video and told during first office visit. My sons wisdom teeth's recovery and surgery were quick. He just followed the guidelines given to him and he was feeling pretty good by day 3.

I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. William R. Phillips. I checked in at the front desk and everyone was so friendly and I only waited about 5 minutes before I was called back. Dr. Phillips is very knowledgable, friendly, and very informative. I immediately felt at ease and scheduled my dental implant surgery. I had NO PAIN and NO SWELLING. Thank you to Dr. Phillips and staff for taking such great care of me. Dr. Phillips is one of the BEST Oral surgeons in the DFW area!!
