Dr. Meggan Rutledge attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she received her Bachelors of Science degree in Bioengineering. She then continued her education at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Rutledge received special honors training in Endodontics and Pediatrics, as well as obtained additional recognition for her work in implant dentistry and exceptional commitment to patient care.
Dr. Rutledge is passionate about continuing her dental education, energetically attending local dental study club meetings and completing continuing education courses. She is a member of the Spear Education community, focusing on interdisciplinary, comprehensive and individualized care through collaboration with local specialists. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, and Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Rutledge grew up in Crystal Lake, IL and now resides locally with her husband, David, two sons, Charlie and Bobby, and daughter, Avonel. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her siblings (she is one of six kids!) and their growing families, spending time outdoors, and traveling.
Savannah, RDH has been practicing dental hygiene for 10 years. Since a very young age, she has always know she wanted to be a dental hygienist. She has experience in family dentistry and also working with a periodontist to aid in patient management of their periodontal health. Savannahs enjoys getting to know and educate her patients, as well as helping them find the right tools and products to improve their oral health. In her free time Savannah enjoys TV shows, movies, traveling to warmer climates and spending precious time with her husband and two daughters.
Isabel, RDH first realized her passion for helping others through the dental profession over 12 years ago, starting as a dental receptionist and assistant. Her motivation to help provide quality care and beautiful smiles led her to further her education and become a dental hygienist. Isabel strives to provide the highest standard of patient care and treatment to fit each individuals needs. She is enthusiastic about educating her patients and helping them improve their oral and overall health. She believes that the most rewarding part of being a dental hygienist is seeing positive results and improvement in her patients health. When not caring for patients, Isabel enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family.
Cecilia, RDH has been practicing as a dental hygienist for 13 years. Ceci started in the dental field as a dental assistant in high school and eventually pursued hygiene after finishing her Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology. Her favorite aspect of dental hygiene is the long -term relationships built with patients, especially in regards to educating them on how to improve their oral health. Outside of work, Ceci enjoys baking and spending time with her husband and three young children.
Shauna, RDH has been in the dental field for over 10 years. Her interest started many years ago shadowing her dad, a general dentist, at his dental office. Shauna received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology from Jacksonville University, her Dental Hygiene degree from the College of Lake County, and is working towards her Masters Degree in Business from Louisiana State University of Shreveport. Shauna has a passion for learning and helping educate her patients about their oral health. Outside of the office Shauna is busy renovating her fixer upper, trying new microbreweries, and taking her dogs on adventures.
Kathy, our practice administrator, has 36 years of clinical and clerical dental experience. She enjoys using her knowledge and experience to best serve our practice and patients. In her free time Kathy enjoys spending time outdoors, and with her family and friends.
Laura has been in the dental field for over 30 years with extensive experience in both chairside assisting and administrative duties. Laura enjoys assisting patients with their first phone call with the office, as well as ensuring they are comfortable throughout their entire dental experience. In Lauras free time she spends as much time as possible with her children, as well as enjoying the outdoors by hiking, walking, and bike riding.
Marie is originally from Montreal, Canada and has been in the dental field for many years. She enjoys providing our patients with the highest quality care possible and is happy to continue learning everyday from Drs. Rutledge and Thomas. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking and participating in any outdoor activities. Marie is looking forward to meeting you!
Marisegraduated from Prairie State College as a certified dental assistant and enjoyed a 15-year career in private practice. She then embraced a career in the Fire Service as a fire engineer and paramedic. After a short retirement, she returned to dentistry and PADP. She enjoys clinical dentistry and helping patients have the best oral health possible in a stress-free environment. Marise and her husband enjoy outdoor activities, dog sports with their two border collies, and their precious grandchildren.
Tammy has been in the dental field for 33 years. Her favorite part of her job is getting to know her patients on a personal level, all the while knowing she is helping to improve their oral health. Outside of the office, Tammy spends as much time as she can outdoors. She loves to fish and spend time with her husband, three sons, and two grandchildren.
Our office is located in Libertyville, IL, and we have been providing dentistry services for a long list of happy and satisfied clients. Convenience and comfort are the two hallmarks of our office. We have a state-of-the-art facility to ensure the highest quality dental care.

This is your premier choice for a dental practice Kathy admin will greet you and answer all billing and technical questions Dental hygienists and assistants are well trained to provide quality dental care from cleanings through xrays etc The office is clean and lovely And the Drs will provide you with not only quality dental care but the latest in technology to make this a great choice had a wonderful professional crown replaced, everything went as planned Dr R as well as Kathy explained everything before it happened, the crown color perfect as the entire experience was painless- a premier practice with a clear community of excellence !!!!!!

Nervous attending a new dentist but Dr. Meggan Rutledge and Marie put me at ease. They kept checking into make sure I was comfortable and really made this a calming experience. Everything from the start of sitting down, getting numbed (barely felt!) through to the end with explanations along the way, created a great experience. I have several visits still but now I'm not nervous returning. Highly recommend!!

Dr. Rutledge and Park Ave Dental Professionals are top notch. They provided me Invisalign services in fall 2020. Communication was clear, appointments went efficiently and their office utilizes all the latest technology. I was pleasantly surprised how quickly my teeth got back in alignment and am thrilled with the results. Dr. Rutledge is awesome and I highly recommend her!

I recently took my elderly father to see Dr. Rutledge. He hadn't been to a dentist in quite some time and was very nervous heading into the appointment. After only a few minutes of meeting with Dr. Rutledge and her very friendly staff, I could tell my father was at ease. Dr. Rutledge took the time to break down my fathers diagnosis and proposed treatment plan, making it understandable. My father walked out of the appointment feeling comfortable with his diagnosis and upcoming treatment plan. Thank you Dr. Rutledge! You worked wonders. I strongly encourage anyone looking for a new dentist to give Park Avenue Dental Professionals a visit!

I highly recommend Dr. Rutledge, Dr. Thomas and the whole Park Avenue Dental Professionals Team. From my first visit to the office, I was made to feel so welcome and comfortable. I had just moved to the area and had some real issues with my teeth and gum health, which can be scary. Dr. Rutledge and her team go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and understand what they are doing as well as what you can do for your oral health. I was impressed with her thoroughness and gentile touch. I have since gone through the process of Invisalign with her and felt I was in such good hands. I'm going through a tooth extraction and an implant tooth replacement, the entire staff has been very helpful and has guided me through the entire process. The office of course is very clean and the staff really cares about everyone's safety during theses difficult times. Regarding the implant, Dr Rutledge is very knowledgeable, patient and is able to explain to me in layman's terms, what is going to happen. The experience is as good as a visit to the dentist can be!
