Amelia was born in Cuba and grew up in Ft. Lauderdale. She graduated with her Associate of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Santa Fe College. Amelia has been part of the team since 2005. She enjoys building relationships with her patients and families. Amelia has a daughter that is a student at University of Florida. Amelia enjoys time with friends, cooking, and the beach.
Tia has enjoyed a career in dentistry since 2003 starting as a Certified Dental Assistant. Furthering her education graduated from Santa Fe College with an A.S. Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2007. Tia joined Parent Dental Group in June of 2020 and is so thankful to have found such a wonderful office! She enjoys getting to know her patients and educating them on their oral healthcare.
Pam graduated from Valencia College in 1996 with her A.S. in Dental Hygiene. Prior to becoming a dental hygienist, Pam was a Certified Dental Assistant for several years. She enjoys practicing Dental Hygiene and looks forward to seeing her patients every day.
Pam married her high school sweetheart, Carl, in 1984. They have two grown children. Kyle and his wife live in Lubbock, Texas and have a daughter born in 2019. Kendall and her new husband live in Houston, Texas. Pam enjoys boating, beaching, traveling, and spending time with family.
LaDaiesjah graduated from Delta Technical College dental assisting program. She was born in Illinois and grew up in Meridian Ms. LaDaiesjah moved to Gainesville in 2021 to start her career in dental. When she is not working she enjoys reading, spending time with her dog Riley and traveling.
Kelly was born in South Florida. Kelly is a graduate of Santa Fe College. She also serves on the advisory board for the Dental Assisting program at Santa Fe. Kelly has been Lead Dental Assistant for over twenty years. Her patient focused care is something patients trust. When not in the office, Kelly spends time with her two young and growing boys.
Lisa moved from Texas to Gainesville in 2000. After several years working in banking, she joined the office in April 2017. Lisa and her husband have a blended family. They have three adult children and four grandchildren. When enjoying her own time, Lisa likes walking, the beach, taking short trips with family and friends, and concerts. However, Lisa has come to find out that time with her grandchildren is her favorite.

I absolutely love Dr. Parent and his employees. First and foremost, everyone is extremely sensitive to the virus and its variants. Consequently, they practice only the highest level of cleanliness. In addition, everyone there is professional, thorough in their examinations, and pleasant to be around. Any residue of fear within the patient is instantly dispelled! I am a "mature" woman who used to be petrified of dentists, but not with Rick Parent, who is wonderful. He is knowledgable, sensitive to his patients' doubts and hesitations, and exudes confidence in what he does. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

I've been a patient at this practice since the late 1960's, when Dr. Baxter was there. Later Dr. Parent joined the office. I have always been treated with the utmost respect and gentleness by the friendly staff and dentists. The bi-annual cleaning is almost a day to look forward to! Because they are pro-active, there are never any problems or painful situations. I trust them completely with my teeth!

This is hard to believe! For the many years I have been attending Dr. Parent's practice, I always enjoyed the visits. This was definitely never the case before. I can only highly recommend this dental group.

Dr. Parent and his staff are great! I've been coming to this office for 15+ years and even after moving away from Gainesville, I still come back for my dental appointments. Dr. Parent has always been patient, professional and kind during my office visits and when addressing my concerns.

The worst dentist I've ever been to in my life. Scam artist, rude. Acts like a child. Tells you one price and then after the work is done charges you more.

A few years back I also used this dentist for a tooth problem and got very rude and over charged for sure! Got a very creepy feeling from him while he was working on my teeth.

I avoided the dentist for over 20 years because of past experiences. A family member recommended I go see Dr. Parent. I am glad they did. Not only did he do great work (crowns and fillings), but because of how comfortable Dr. Parent made me feel, I no longer avoid the dentist. I have had several appointments at Parent Dental Group and I will continue to go there regularly. Unnecessary treatment is never pushed. The doctor and staff at Parent Dental Group are always friendly and punctual. If you want a great dental experience, this is the office for you!

I have been a patient with Dr. Parent and his awesome staff since he went into practice. His professionalism and expert knowledge of dentistry gives me and my family great confidence that we will be taken care of anytime we go into the office or are in need of immediate help. I recently had to have a crown put on a cracked tooth. Dr. Parent did an excellent job assessing and evaluating the best course of treatment. After a very short time with a temporary crown, the new crown was put in and fit perfectly. The new crown was in within 20 minutes and I was able to eat and drink immediately. Thank you Dr. Parent and staff for your excellent service!
