In 1992, Dr. Joseph Orosa Paraiso graduated from Centro Escolar University in Manila, one of Asias best dental schools, and then went on to become one of the youngest foreign graduate dentists in California. In 1996, he completed a yearlong residency at the Center for Esthetic Dentistry at UCLA. After working for several group practices in the Central Valley and Santa Cruz County he found his way back to the Bay Area to put up his own practice in 1999. He has pursued hundreds of hours of post graduate studies in many of the sub-specialty areas of general dentistry including his surgical training for dental implants under world renowned oral surgeon, Dr. Arun Garg in 2012.
Dr. Paraiso has been seeing patients at his Mountain View office for more than 20 years and he has always been especially proud of his practice, not only because of his impressive office and state-of-the-art equipment, but also because of the principles and high moral standards he works by. Both of my parents practiced medicine while I was growing up and what impressed me the most was the genuine concern and respect they had for every patient. It is important to me to work by the same ideals so that all my patients get the personalized care that they deserve, down to the last detail. I enjoy getting to know my patients. I want to show them how pleasant and relaxing a visit to the dentist can be. In his free time, Dr. Paraiso loves playing golf and tennis, skiing in winter, and scuba diving during his yearly summer vacations in the Philippines with his wife and four kids.

I've been going here for many years and Dr. Paraiso and staff always make me feel super comfortable and like they have my best interests and health in mind. They run an honest business, are not out to overcharge you or talk you into doing procedures you don't need. They work with you to make sure you make the best decisions based on your needs and available insurance. I always feel like I am in good hands here and have always had a pleasant experience.

Dr. P and Carla are amazing. I drive from Modesto just to see them. I trust them both for all my dental needs. Dr. P is always thorough with all his dental work whether it's a cleaning or fillings. I love seeing everyone when we come in and the drive is definitely worth it for peace of mind.

My 3-year old recently came in as he had a few cavities. I was truly terrified to how my son would be during the whole procedure, but Dr. Paraiso, Krystal, and Carla were great with him from beginning to end, talking to him about what is happening and gave him positive affirmations. During that visit, he had 3 fillings and even had to get a shot! To my suprise, my son talked about how much fun it was, also hearing how he described the procedure was hilarious! "Dr. P clean my teeth like this (gesturing with his finger across his mouth), and then he go buzzzz buzzz buzz, like that!" Thank you Dr P, Krystal, and Carla! See you in a few weeks to get the little one finished up!

Dr. Paraiso and staff are all amazing. Dr. Paraiso is always gentle and ready to get the job done. Krystal his back up is prepared to handle anything that comes up. Carla always lets me know what my options are. All together they make the dentist visit more enjoyable.
