Dr. Robin Thoman is carrying on a family legacy of dentistry began in 1965 by his father, providing family dental care in his native Indiana.

Dr. Carole Thoman is an experienced, highly trained dentist in Indianapolis, IN. She is committed to providing patients with comprehensive care for all of their dentistry needs. As an experienced general dentist, with a focus in dental sleep medicine and endodontics, Dr. Thoman provides full-service dental care for dental concerns ranging from minor to complex.
Dr. Carole Thoman was born and raised in Terre Haute, Indiana. She attended Indiana University both at the Bloomington and the Indianapolis campus to receive her Degree in Dental Hygiene in 1981. After returning to Terre Haute to work as a dental hygienist and obtaining her prerequisites for dental school, she returned to Indianapolis and Indiana University School of Dentistry to complete her Doctorate in 1988.
Dr. Thoman practices exclusively on the Southside of Indianapolis with her husband, Dr. Robin Thoman. Their partnership allows each of them to practice their personal specialties in Dentistry while providing convenience for patients to receive complete care under one roof.
As an experienced general dentist, Dr. Thoman continues to take advanced training in various areas of dentistry: Cosmetic dentistry, Endodontics, and Oral appliances for patients with obstructive sleep apnea and snoring. Dr. Carole continues to exceed the continuing education requirements as she studies for her Diplomate status in the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Robin Thoman is a highly trained and trusted dentist in Indianapolis, IN. He is dedicated to providing personalized, comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages. By employing conservative methods, he is able to preserve, create, and restore healthy, functional smiles.
Following in his fathers footsteps, Rob received his doctorate from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1987 before beginning private practice in Southport. He later completed postdoctoral training at the Medical College of Georgia and at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.
Dr. Thoman has received Fellowship Awards in both General and Implant dentistry. He also finds time to serve as the team dentist for the Indiana Pacers and volunteers as a pilot for Angel-Flight Missions throughout the mid-west.
His ongoing professional training exceeds state requirements four-fold each year. Dr. Thoman activities in the community are extensive and include the Greater Southport Business Alliance (President), the Perry Senior Services (Director), the Indianapolis Spirit & Place Festival (Advisory Board), the Central Indiana Regional Transit Authority (Board Member) and the Indianapolis Metropolitan Planning Organization (vice-chairman). Robin is also the former mayor of Southport, Indiana.
Kim graduated from Olney Central College, in Olney Illinois with a certificate in Dental Assisting in 1976 and passed the National Board examination in June of that same year. Her 42-year long career has taken her through many continuing education opportunities such as Coronal Polishing and Caries Prevention Procedures. In 2009 she graduated with a bachelors degree from IUPUI.
Madeline is a 2017 graduate from Indiana University with a Bachelors degree in Chemistry. Her interest and passion for dentistry were first sparked from a personal experience in which her smile was forever changed. This confidence boost and background in the sciences pushed her to pursue a career in dentistry.
Madeline started at Paradox dental as an intern but moved up as a dental assistant as she realized she loved learning more about patients, staff, and procedures. Although she loves her Paradox family, she plans to attend the IU school of dentistry so she too can offer patients the opportunity to change their lives with dentistry.
Terrie is a front office coordinator with our clerical team and has worked in the dental industry for over 20 years.She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and has been happy to use it extensively in her career.Terrie is a large proponent of serving others and being a patient advocate.She is happy when a patient has had a great patient experience.
In her free time, Terrie likes working on her new house, which is an old farmhouse that needed some work.But her real joy is spending time with her adult daughters and their families.If you want to see her beam, ask her about her grandson.Often, Terrie will pack up her little dog, Walter, and head up to spend the day playing with him.
When not treating patients at Paradox, most times, you can find Tammy and her husband supporting the children with activities at Center Grove or the Junior Fuel Hockey league. They also enjoy sneaking away to visit grandchildren in Manitoba, Canada, whenever the opportunity comes along.
Tammy has a special interest in coaching patients toward the optimal state of oral health each patient desires. Tammy also enjoys being active in the community providing many forms of service whenever possible. Other hobbies include scrapbooking, reading, and simply exploring the great outdoors with her family.
Cedie (Mercedie) is our scheduling coordinator and has worked in the dental industry for about 5 years and was previously a dental assistant. Cedie graduated in 2017 with a Social Work Degree and plans to continue her education in the Fall of 19. She enjoys helping people and implements those skills from social work and dentistry, into caring for our patients daily. Cedie is loving getting to know our patients individually and cares deeply about helping them.
